Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this product The concealer is amazing .. Just cover up those unwanted spot and hides them all night long or all day long .. Love it 05/13/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Under Eyes So this product is good coverage and creamy, so it doesn't tug delicate under eye skin. I have light skin, but the Light 2 has yellow which hides my blue under eye circles brilliantly! It does not crease, even though I do have some age lines. This stuff is amazing. 05/12/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by A life saver! I got this concealer as a sample. I use it with the Matte powder foundation and WOW! I have tried so many products to help fill in my large pores and to cover my acne scars and red spots. This is the ONLY product I have found that does what I want it to do without looking cakey and so made up. My pores look smaller, my redness and acne scares disappear. I apply some onto my primed skin, apply Matte foundation powder, apply some over the powder again to touch up, and apply a small amount of Matte foundation powder over it once more. I then finish it all off with the mineral veil. I work as a RN and it gives me a fresh professional look without being too made-up. 04/27/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lined and Uncovered I really wanted to like this but using the concealer brush with foundation works much better. This creates a lot of little lines when it dries, is hard to get off, and doesn't cover up anything. 04/27/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love it so far! Just got this product in the mail about a week ago. It makes my skin look wonderful. Lately, I've been having acne testing out different concealers. This concealer covers acne wonderfully. I'm hoping my sensitive skin will be okay with this stuff. 04/15/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Overall Concealer Iv bought this concealer twice in med 2, blends well, good coverage for my dark circles overall good buy! 04/12/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by second skin I wasn't impressed with this at first, but I kept using it because I didn't want to waste it. Wow, all I can say is that I can't live without it now. don't give up after a few tries. Once you get the technique down and apply it sheer and even, it gives an amazing amount of coverage. The only con is that the lightest shade is too yellow, but it still works as long as I am careful to apply it only over the dark circles. Yellow corrects blue. I have tried the cc eye primer, and this works better for that purpose. I can apply a small bit of brightening concealer over it. The eye primer is far too yellow for fair/cool toned girls. It would be great if bareMinerals would offer this concealer in a lighter shade so that fair girls could have the option of using it as an eye brightener too. 04/04/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by TIME TO TRY SOMETHING NEW!!! I have Been buying this concealer for about a year, I noticed that it settles into the tiny under eye creases and does not look smooth. I thought it only happened to me but after reading several reviews I'm not the only one. I was going to get another one but I think it's time for a change. Benifit makes a good concealer I used that before with no problem it goes on smooth and does not cake or settle into creases. 03/28/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wow! I got this as part of the Your Perfect Picks-Complexion set and I am amazed by this product! I had been wanting to try it for a while and got it! It goes on super easily and looks like it is part of my skin. The only issue I have is that over time it settles into some fine lines. Other than that, it is perfection! Will be buying it again. 03/10/2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by I expect much better from bare escentuals. i cant say enough negative things about this. three years ago, i bought an 80$ kit from bare escentuals, and in that kit was a concealer case called the "duo concealer." I SWORE by it. and it was perfect because it had two shades i could mix to perfectly match ME. it concealed EVERYTHING. blemish scars, freckles, redness you name it. it blended nicely. so pretty much what im trying to say is that it was polar opposite to what it is now. two years later, after i ran out, and after i finally could afford it, i end up wasting my money. bare escentuals changed it, and its not nearly the same... (oh... except the price of course) im 22 years old, and this makes my skin appear flaky and wrinkly, and i dont have a single wrinkle on my face, and it smears. will not be buying again.... try again guys.... side note: i did try the blemish remedy concealer today at ulta. much better. but as far as a compact like this; please try again.... 03/05/2016

I have oily skin and I tried the bareSkin product but it didn't work due to my very oily skin no matter how much mineral veil I used. I'm back to using the original powder foundation but still would like a concealer other than the powder as I have a lot of acne scars.

The Correcting Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 is the best concealer I have ever used, and I also like you have oily, acne prone skin. The first time I tried BareMinerals in 2005 it just didn't work for me. I quit using it for years, but came back when the deluxe foundation because available in 2013. The concealer has changed my life! I have no blemishes any longer with the help of Murad and BareMineral concealer. I feel more confident then ever, and my skin is just flawless. You can try the $89 get started kit which will give you each essential product to a flawless finish. You can choose to get two concealers, or any thing you want, plus you get a beautiful makeup box with your order. I'd say 5 out of 5 stars for this concealer, especially with the powder foundation. It also works with the liquid or the BB cream foundations.

I think this concealer works great with me using the matte mineral foundation. I apply it before foundation to cover up blemishes and dark spots and after foundation to cover up under eye circles. It conceals very well and goes great with powder.

My skin can sometimes turn into an oil slick. I am considering purchasing either this concealer or the well rested eye brightener (I have slight dark circles as well). I like medium to full converge, but I don't want it to slide off my face.

Answer:
The well rested eye brightened really isn't a concealer. It's more of a luminizer product. It definitely isn't something I would put over my whole face, just places that need lightening. It is a translucent/whitish color with some glisten to it. It will not provide much actual coverage. I actually put the well rested on over my foundation under my eyes. The correcting concealer is a fantastic concealer with great buildable coverage. My face gets super oily no matter what brands or products I use, but I think I get the best result with BE products. It doesn't feel oily and doesn't run down my face like other brands; I just see the shine in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend finishing with the mineral veil if you get oily, though.

Answer:
I've not tried the 2 products you mentioned, but HAVE tried many other brands/products for concealer and the only thing I've found that works without spending a lot of time to apply is Bare Minerals Foundation in powder form. I don't care for the BE Correcting Concealer as even the lightest one isn't light enough, and ends up looking like brown spots on my skin. I use one shade of Original Bare Minerals for foundation, and a different shade to use as concealer. Using enough moisturizer under the eyes helps the foundation powder from looking too dry.

I use Ready foundation (love it!) in medium beige AND golden medium together. They work great together for me. I'm really wanting to try this concealer but can't decide which shade. I'm blonde with medium skin and with quite a bit of red from rosacea. I will use this mostly around my eyes. Have been using Well Rested for a long time but need a little more coverage. The light 1 seems a little too pinkish. Someone mentioned this concealer runs a little dark so I think medium might be too dark. I don't have a boutique in my area. Any advice is much appreciated!

Answer:
I think the key to which one to try would be looking at the Find Your Perfect Shade link. You say you have Medium skin, so I would say either Medium 1 or 2, but it would depend on if you're a cool or warm or neutral tone. If you're using Medium Beige and Golden Medium together, you probably have a warm to neutral tone, and that would be the Medium 2 in the concealer. I've found that following the site's shade matching advice works well for me when I'm selecting a shade. I hope this helps. God luck!

Answer:
I use fairly medium in matte. I'd advise go lighter. I use light 1 since I have pink under tones.. Based one yours I'd say go with light 2 since you have more yellow under tones. The key to getting dark circles to go away is use a shade lighter of concealer than the foundation you wear.

I think Light 2 would work well for you, since it sounds like you like the warm-based colors. (Light 2 and Medium 2 are warm-based, yellow colors). For concealers, I think going lighter is always better.

Hope this helps!

You're probably cool. What you could do is go to a regular drug store and try and color match. I would certainly advice you go with BM stuff, but that will tell you which shade you are. If you have a BM boutique near you that would be your best bet.

How I learned is, which looks better on you: silver, gold, or both? (Not to be mistaken with which one do you like -- which one LOOKS better on you)

Personally, I look better in silver, so I am a cool tone. Neutrals can wear either silver or gold, and warm tones look best in gold.

Hope that helps!

Answer:
Personally, I use my Prime Time under and above my eyes before putting concealer on. So it makes sense, this is how I do it...

I put the Prime Time on by squirting one pump onto the back of my L hand, dabbing my R ring finger into it, then dabbing my forehead, hose, and chin with it. Then I take the remaining Prime Time, and divide it between my cheeks. I then make sure to rub it all in (gently) and you have a feeling of having "extra" on your fingers, just gently rub that under/above your eyes. I find that works better than the eye cream.

I generally use eye cream at night when it has more time to absorb on clean skin.

I would recommend using a cream, but let it dry around the eye area before applying the concealer (Stroke of light works best around the eyes). You may want to go to a nearby boutique to figure out which eye cream would work for you.

Personally, I don't think it would be too much. I'm a Bisque user (LOVE IT# and wear the Fairly Light Foundation Matte. I tried this concealer and didn't like it. But, I wanted to use it as concealer for blemishes #I'm pregnant as well and my face is breaking out horribly). I used it for under the eyes and it works great. I say, just don't pack on the bisque after putting on the correcting concealer. Just dust it over lightly. Good luck and hope it helps!
