Warmth All-Over Face Color
I am surprised I love it so much
I have porcelain skin (and I never try to tan because I just turn red rather than brown haha). I don't like to use self-tanners or anything either, because I am at a point in my life where I am just happy with my natural light skin and am embracing it rather than fighting it. Plus, most bronzers or tanners just make me look like an oompa loompa, or worse, cause a severe allergic reaction. This bronzer came free with my foundation starter kit, and I decided, what the heck, why not try it. Wow!!! I was totally blown away by how awesome this bronzer looks on me! I have naturally red cheeks, so I never wear blush. But I am actually able to use this bronzer to contour my cheeks a bit, and they look amazing!! I use very, VERY little (and would recommend that light skinned girls like myself do the same), like less than a drop almost is plenty if you are buffing it in well. I go back and use whatever is left on my brush to lightly smooth across my forehead, bridge of my nose, and my chin and my face just looks so much healthier but not orange or muddy at all. To those struggling with this product I would just really recommend using less and working it in slowly as it is very intense and can get crazy dark really fast. I don't see myself living without this bronzer now. One last thing, I really like how it is not shimmery, as that just is not my style and would not be appropriate for my everyday look. Love it.
Not a fan of warmth
I love BM products, but this one just doesn't work for me. I've tried using it several times and it just seems to make my face look muddy or blotchy.
Doesn't work for my skin tone.
I know this is award winning, and I know that it got rave reviews, but I just CANNOT get it to work for my skin tone.
I am fairly light in the original powder, so I am very light skinned and have pinkish undertones.....
I wanted to love this so badly, but for as many months as I've had it I find myself continuously searching for a bronzer that doesn't make me appear so 'orange'. That's the best way I can describe it on my skin tone is orange or 'fake tan' color.
I keep using it only because I bought it and don't like wasting money by throwing things in the trash, but otherwise this color looks blech on me.
Like it, but not really needed.
I have very fair skin and I use a very small amount of this to highlight my cheek bones and my nose each day. I can forsee the one that came with the starter kit lasting me indefinately because I use such a small amount. If I do run out I will not be reordering it. I thought it would be too dark, but its not, it is a very nice color.
Wonderful, lasts forever
I definitely recommend you start with a small amount of product and build to what looks good for your skin tone.
I love this product. There are times when I don't have the right shade of foundation or just look like my face is washed out. This product brings back that sun kissed, healthy glow to my skin. Since I am fair skinned, I still have my warmth from my starter kit that I bought over five years ago!!!
A little goes a long way!
I was nervous to buy this product because it looks so dark and I typically use the original foundation in the shade fair. I was finding, however, that without something on my cheeks I was looking severely washed out. I had used blush before but was looking for something a little different. I tried this product and was not disappointed...I use just a VERY little bit for each side of my face and make sure to blend blend blend and the finished product is gorgeous! I think for summer I will be able to use a little more to create a sun-kissed glow!
I see the sun!
Warmth All-Over Face Color gives your face the perfect summer sun-kissed glow. It makes your skin look so vibrant and radiant. It's perfect. Good going, Bare Minerals!
I love using this stuff. It makes my face look sun-kissed and it doesn't look dark either. Being fair skinned I have a difficult time trying to find makeup that looks flawless and doesn't make me look like a clown and this stuff is amazing! I put it on my forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose all the places where the sun would normally hit my face and it accentuates perfectly.
I cannot go a day without this product! When I do, I don't look like myself. The warmth makes my skin transform to a natural, sun kissed glow. However, it does not look overwhelmingly tanned (i.e. orange). This is key since I live in Canada and definitely do NOT have the chance to be in the sun for long amounts of time at -30. I use it all over my face for a natural look. LOVE!
not for me
this colour ends up looks too fake and orange to be "all over warmth" for pale skin. If it goes on too light you can't see any warmth, so then what is the point. This should be marketed to people with at least medium skin tones.
This is one of my favorite products BE offers! Not only can i use it to change my look and contour on my face, but it makes a great eye shadow when I'm in a hurry! It completes my clean and natural look!
Warmth All-Over Face Color
While the Warmth can definitely be used all over the face to give a warm, summery glow, I prefer to use it for contouring my cheeks. It is a great coppery-bronze color. The only reason that I didn't give it full stars is because it is so highly pigmented and tends to go on stronger than what you wanted. So be careful, and use small amounts building up. (And if you use small amounts to build your color, it makes the Warmth last forever!)
Tip: Use super small amounts (like one tap into the lid) and build up coverage from there; this way, you start out lightly and can stop at any time. Also, remember that Mineral Veil can help diffuse some of the pigmentation when it's a little more than you wanted!
warmth all-over face color
I have enjoyed using warmth for about 6 years now. In the winter when all is pale, I mix equal parts of warmth with mineral veil or well rested. The color is just enough for highlighting.
I wear this everyday and have been for the last couple years! You will love! I've even given as gifts because I think almost any skin type can wear it. You can wear as much or as little to build a daily tan! Love this product and I think you will too!!
i'm too pale for this
i've used bronzers before and with my extremely pale skin this product was way too drastic for my tastes. i tried using just a tiny amount with a large brush, but it still looks like i'm trying too hard to contour. i've now switched to the pure radiance line of BE, but i can't recommend the warmth for pale skin. i have the skin that only burns, no tan...
Pale skin...no worries. No muddy-ness!
I always shyed away from using bronzer or even blush until I tried this. I received it as a part of the Get Started kit and now I can't go without using it. I have pale skin, so whenever I had tried bronzers it always made me look like I had dirt on my face! This is so natural and gives you cheeks the perfect glow. I brush it on my cheekbones, under my chin, along my jawline, the bridge of my nose, and the top of my forehead. It's great for winter when you don't have any opportunity to tan!
Great Product, but got smaller
I dont know if its me, but it seems EVERYTHING I buy is shrinking. Same or higher price, less product. Warmth is no exception. Packaging is same size in circumference, but more plastic on the bottom, less product. That makes me sad.
That being said, Im a fan of warmth. Gives an all over healthy color to my face, and the sifter top is a nice addition for travel.
Good but not great
I love the formula. I love Bare Minerals products, but I wish this came in a few more shades--both in the lighter and darker spectrum. When I'm at my tannest in summer (usually July into August), I can wear this color no problem, but all other months it is too dark and too orange. I just hope they make this in a shade lighter as well, because in winter my skin is almost translucent, and this color just won't do!
Love this stuff!!
I needed a new bronzer and tried this out. It's awesome! It's not overly brown, it's a more natural face color when it's on. I use it with a highlighter to contour my face and it works perfectly, blends in nicely.
Looks scary, but a must-try!
When the lady at the boutique first showed this to me, I was scared! I have fair skin and this stuff looks DARK. After she put it on, however, I was surprised by how natural and subtle it looks. I got it with the starter kit and I use it every day, primarily as a blush. It just gives your face a very natural-looking coloration.
Good contour color too
I use this with a narrow flat brush to sculpt my cheekbones. This goes under the bone, and my blush on top. Looks great!
Very versatile product!
I love this product, I use it on my eyes when I am in a hurry and want a little color, on my cheeks, all over for a glowing look. It is never orange or yellow looking. It is the best product ever.
Great for lips, too
This is one of your 3 essentials - foundation, warmth, mineral veil. This is the minimum makeup trifecta to have for that perfect natural look. Yes, warmth gives definition when used on hollows of cheek, color as a light blush on apple of cheek, great on brow for a natural eyeshadow. I even use my radiance on my lips! I have a few of the old Buzz latte lip balm and I dip the balm in the radiance then swipe on my lips - gives you a light natural color. You can use any colorless balm - first base would due. I find that the soft focus face brush works well for application.
A little goes a long way
Love warmth all over face color. A tiny bit to reach that lightly sunkissed glow which is perfect for me. I'm sure if you want more of a tanned look, a little more warmth will do the trick.
Looks really dark but isn't.goes on good and covers great.
this is the best
I love warmth! It really gives my face that just perfect look after I brush it on after the foundation. It's the perfect finishing touch. My skin is oily and by noon, the oil has shown through other makeups I have used. But after using Bare Minerals foundation and warmth all over, the shine stays away all day! I hope this product never goes away.
Best bronzer ever
I've been using Warmth all-over face color for about 5 years now. I would never leave the house without putting it on. It's gives you the perfect color contrast without making you look too orange or brown. It makes my skin look vibrant, healthy and gives me the perfect glow. This product is for sure a must have for your makeup bag.
Best blush ever.
I have had the same warmth since the first starter kit i purchased in 2003. I use the small kabuki brush to apply and the finest dusting in the lid is all you need. i am so pale (with freckles) its like my neck is translucent. but with proper application i can flush my cheeks chin and nose without it looking too made up.
i find that tapping the brush once in each area you are going to apply before you swirl helps distribute more evenly.
Great alternative to blush
I personally really like the warmth. I like adding natural glow and color to my face but I don't care so much for pink blushes because it is not natural looking to me. I want to look sun-kissed. I apply directly on my cheekbones and bridge of nose and dust a light remaining amount all over my face. When I first started wearing people noticed that I looked tanner like I'd been in the sun (but really I wasn't in the sun!). I will say though that I think this is too harsh of a color for those with fair skin tones. I have a medium complexion and use Medium Beige in the original luminous powder foundation and it works good for me. I could see it being too dark for someone with fair skin.
Don't give up on warmth
Way back when I first started using Bare Minerals, the kit I received had a small sample of warmth in it. Like a few others I see leaving reviews on here, I thought it seemed far too dark for my fair skintone, and I gave up on using it. However, as I became more addicted to BE and started experimenting with colors more, and learned you do not need to use much of any BE product to get the look you want, I learned how to use a _tiny_ bit of warmth on an angled face brush or a blush brush with great results. Then I discovered something even better. See, my skin is strange in that I have light patches under my eyes (I still get dark circles, but the skin around my eyes seems to be more translucent or something) that I never did like the look of, and always drove me crazy. One day, I was applying warmth as usual and decided to try using it to conceal my 'light circles'. It worked perfectly! I love using it now to even out my skintone and darken my lighter spots after I apply foundation. For those of you that have uneven patches of skin, try using a little warmth to even things up. It only takes a tiny amount (I just barely touch the tips of some of the brush bristles to the minerals) to make a difference.
