Mineral Veil - null 4.6 5 224 225
Perfect finish A little goes a long way! Using mineral veil over your all your makeup tricks gives an airbrush finish. It just seems to "set" my makeup. Also, I have oily skin and it helps keep the dreaded shine away for hours. 08/15/2015
Can't do with out this I love the original mineral veil. It covers minor flaws, does not settle in my wrinkles, does not look powdery or chalky, it's invisible. And best of all, it has no fragrance odor at all-I'm fragrance sensitive. I get so many compliments on my skin. 08/08/2015
Love it! I love this product. It really helps control my oily look and feel and holds my makeup in place 08/04/2015
Perfect finish Thank you for making a tinted mineral veil. I am a Warm Deep Matte and this disappears into my skin , just wonderful ! 08/03/2015
Wonderful Product I absolutely love the mineral veil. It goes on so easy and lots of times I will just use it alone with no other foundation. It covers beautifully and gives a fantastic tint to my skin. 07/29/2015
My favorite setting powder I use this in both Original (translucent) and Illumininating. It is a Holy Grail product for me. I use Original more, as it gives a flawless, matte finish that works with any makeup look. The Illuminating is beautiful, with a fine sparkle that is noticeable, but doesn't make you look like a shimmery disco ball. I like it in summer, or around the holidays. Most of my life I've had super-oily skin, and this combined with the Original Foundation was a godsend, especially in the days before primers. I've been using this for nearly two decades. I had given up on my foundation lasting till I tried this. Powders would always cake or melt off with my foundations. I can use this with any foundation, and it sets it. When my skin is really oily, or it's really hot outside, I put this over AND under the Original Foundation. My makeup stays on, and stays flawless all day. My skin stays shine-free. The layers needed are light, so I still don't feel like I'm wearing anything on my face. Dusting it on the eyelids before using shadows helps prevent them from creasing (I did this before eyeshadow primers were available). 07/28/2015
Perfect Finish! I love the translucent mineral veil! It provides the perfect finish to seal in my foundation and make it last longer on my oily skin. I suggest using it before you apply your blush, bronzer, and/or highlight so that it doesn't cover up what you did! 07/23/2015
Love it! Great product for smooth finish and looks great in pictures! 07/23/2015
not for me I bought this in the store i was excited to replace my normal moral veil and i thought i could use it as a highlighter as well. It is very lightweight which did not work to be a highlighter. The only reason I don't like it is that in the sun its too glittery for me. Others say its barely there but i just don't like the look of it for everyday. I am keeping it for nights out because it does do what its supposed to do give you a sheer clean finish. 07/17/2015
Couldn't be better for aging skin absolutely wonderful product...will not use anything else 07/14/2015

I just finished up a HUGE container of "Tinted Feather Light Mineral Veil" that my mother in law gave me years ago. I immediately stopped using my regular Mineral Veil once I tried it. It has a subtle sparkle and gives truly, utterly flawless coverage over my medium beige powder foundation. I want to replace it, but there isn't a Mineral Veil by the same name. The new "Tinted" Mineral Veil is described as "feather light," but the "Illuminating" Mineral Veil is described as having that subtle sparkle. Do I need to use both to achieve the same look as my old Mineral Veil?!

Have you tried Mineral Veil? I use it as a last step because it seems to pull your face together and just kind of perfect it! Like airbrushing or filter effect for your complexion. I don't get that same result from Radiances. Those are more like a highlighter, give more of like a glow which I like but wouldn't call it a can't-live-without. MV definitely is!

I have VERY oily skin and I'm still in high school, so it's embarrassing to "casually" wipe the excess oil on your nose or forehead. (I get oily mainly in the "t-zone"). How long does this product mattify you're skin and what's the best way to use this so the mattification lasts longer?

I have very oily skin as well and the translucent mineral veil really helps! It last around 6 hours before I have to touch up my t-zone area from being shiny. I would recommend using the oil control primer, mineral foundation in matte, and then the translucent mineral veil.

I also have oily skin, so i have found that after i use my primer i buff on this mineral veil then my foundation then the mineral veil again. i usually have oily problems through the day at my hair line, and around my nose, but it seems to help keep it at bay. but remember honey, every one is different. i would atleast give it a try, but for me it seems to work all day.

I've tried the tinted and it left a dull layer on my skin. I then tried the illuminating mineral veil and really loved how it left a glow, but the glow is very light for my medium to tan complexion. Any advice? Should I try to mix the two together?

Try putting a quarter into the grove on the back lid. Pry it up and put product in, place the lid back down and carefully push it into place.

I've tried this before and wouldn't recommend it. For some reason it doesn't work very well with the Bare Minerals foundation overtop. Plus, it looks gorgeous as a finisher!

I would still recommend using a primer, but yes! Applying Mineral Veil under your foundation will really help keep oily shine away for the day.

Yes, you can apply it before the foundation. I like to do this in the Summer months as an extra oil barrier.

I've had many sales associates at the boutiques suggest using the mineral veil (either ready or original) as a FIRST step before foundation esp if you have oily skin.

What happened to the very light weight, colorless, hydrating Mineral Veil?? It was awesome! Because it was so light weight and colorless, you could do quick touch ups all the time without worry of "piling it on".

I use the fairly medium, which is the lightest of the medium colors in the matte foundation. The tinted mineral veil IS darker, but if you use it with smaller flawless face brush, it does not go on heavy at all. If you are heavy handed you could wind up with your face looking very dark.
I would say the color is very close to the MEDIUM matte foundation. I use tinted in a flawless face case as a touchup to absorb midday oil and provide light coverage.

I use medium beige foundation, and tinted looks just fine with my skin tone. If you're unsure, try to find a boutique to go in and try it.

If you're referring to the tinted mineral veil then the picture makes it look darker than it actually ends up being on your face.

I mix mine with a little AOFC bare radiance and it's perfect - I use fairly light foundation.
