Blush - null
Still the best
For years, I used another brand's cake blush, but they started testing on animals so I won't use it anymore. I tried the READY blush in The One and loved it. I even wrote a positive review for it.
For Christmas, I got this blush in Beauty. Now, I remember why I loved Bare Escentuals blush when it first came out. Nothing looks as natural as the loose blush. If you want a more obvious blush look, all you have to do is add light layers until you get the look you want.
I still have a little of the blush I got however many years ago Bare Escentuals first started. It looks very bright in the container, so I thought it was too young of a color for me. Nope! It still looks amazing! Now, I really don't know why I switched to another brand.
I absolutely love this product color! I get many compliments from my patients regarding the flawless look of my skin. With the Vintage Peach blush I get even more! Many people refer to me as the "China Doll" due to the look of my fair flawless looking skin (with BM line). Love the amount of shimmer this one has and the mineral veil covers enough of the shimmer that it doesn't look childish. This is literally my must have color. Just enough color to highlight my cheeks.
I love these loose blushes! They have a huge color payoff, where a little bit of product gives the perfect amount of color pop, and it's long-lasting! Most of them also have the perfect amount of subtle shimmer to them, which gives a nice healthy glow. There are such a great variety of colors that everyone will find something complimentary to their complexion.
The pots also last a really long time since you only need a little to achieve the desired color; can also layer really well. It is a great investment! Have not tried using them on my lips (as suggested online), but do work well as eyeshadow; I like to put a tad bit of the same blush (used on my cheeks) on my eyes to make everything look cohesive and natural.
The only thing i don't like is that most of the pictures on the website are not true to shade, which makes it extremely risky to purchase them online without seeing them in person. However, this has really nothing to do with the blushes themselves!
Tip: For "new" colors, try mixing small amounts of complementary blush colors to create something unique! I love mixing Hint and Secret for a nice pink/purple blush.
BE blushes are the best
I've acquired quite a collection of BE blushes from holiday sets and kits I regularly purchase, and they're all amazing. The shades look natural, and even if you think you used too much, it usually still looks fine! I've tried drugstore blushes to try and save money, but it was a mistake. BE is the best.
Love this blush
I have very fair light skin with blond hair and greenish eyes, so I need a nice light blush with big color payoff.
I have tried this in Vintage Peach, Flowers, and Joyful Jennifer (i think?). So far I like, the best - peach for a VERY light natural "glow"; Flowers for a more intense "just went for a slight jog" type pink; and JJ for an everyday not too pink not too peach color.
The color payoff is huge. You need a slight tiny tap amt of product on a tapered blush brush and BOOM - blush heaven. Plus so far it's stood up to about 10 hr days at the office give/take.
A pot would last a long time, I like the quality a lot. I did give it a few stars off b/c I don't feel the online picture represents the actual color which makes it insaaaaaaaaaaaaanely frustrating to pick a color online & you might end up exchanging it in stores.
I feel pretty!
I love the Bare Escentuals loose powder blushes. The colors are so pretty. I wear the color First Class all year round. It's a perfect color for my complexion. It never looks cakey or dry, and it lasts all day long. Even if that's the only make up I have on, it still makes me feel pretty!
Flowers is my dream blush
Gorgeous color! I am Fairly Light in Ready foundation, and on me this color looks like I've been on a brisk walk on a cold day. I love it how it brightens up my look. It's very vibrant, so just use a little bit. As with all the BareMinerals, it goes on smooth as silk and blends in easily.
I love this stuff. The color is like velvet, and it doesn't apply in an awkward line across your cheekbones like some cheaper blushes do. Plus the amount your given lasts so much longer. My only complaint is that as someone with dry skin on my cheeks, the blush does not "stick" around for more than a few hours. I'm pulling 8-12 hour days and right around 4pm I start looking a little pasty again. I hope Bare Minerals starts a line of cream blushes and bronzers!
I love BE blushes. I still have a blush that came with a QVC kit from the year 2006! All you need is a tiny rice sized speck and that will be enough for both cheeks. The colors are highly pigmented and so many to choose from. I like adding the blush to my lipgloss and it makes a good lip stain. Does not clog pores.
Always looks good....
I have switched blushes for the seasons, vintage peach for fall flowers for winter giddy pink for summer and the never fail! Always the perfect amount of color and if I really want a pop on the cheeks I'll add more, very build able . If you don't like a lot of color purchases a fan brush this adds a very light amount of blush to cheeks. The jars last forever they are very true to color. The ones with shimmer are not the look at me I'm glowing shimmer but a nice lady sparkle.
