Q & A
Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner - null 2.3 5 384 384
Very Disappointed I bought this eyeliner, thinking it would be like the original Big and Bright, retractable/never needs sharpening eyeliner. It is not. It is fatter near the point, causing it to be difficult to hold and draw a precise line on the lid. Press too hard, and the lead is easily smashed. It does not come with a sharpener; once the right size sharpener is found, the lead is very soft and breaks or smushes easily. The original Big and Bright eyeliner was easy to use and did not need to be sharpened - it rolled up and down. It was thinner, easier to hold and use, and the lead was soft enough to draw a great line but not so soft that it smashed or broke off. I wish BE would not come out wth products unless they ask loyal customers to test and compare them to what is already out - prior to discontinuing a great selling, much better eyeliner. In BE's eagerness to make more money with new products it has created a real dud. Like the saying goes "if it is not broken, don't fix it". I took it back to Ulta where I purchased it - was not surprised when I was told "most of those eyeliners were returned as customers were not happy with them'. 07/17/2012
Not really won over At first I loved how creamy it was. The more you use it though, the less creamier it gets. Like all the good stuff was in the first half of the pencil. It does smudge easy, and mistakes are harder to correct. I just bought a regular self sharpening pencil from the drug store. 07/17/2012
worst eyeliners EVER!!!! I have 3 of these around the clock liners and they dry out WAY TOO QUICKLY and cannot be used at all. A REAL WASTE OF MONEY!! I spoke with a rep at a boutique and the company is aware of the problem....but at this point no reformulation.... 07/17/2012
I hate the new eyeliner. I used to use the black big and bright eyeliner so when I ran out and couldn't purchase anymore big and bright I bought the midnight round the clock. It is not forgiving at all. You have to be extremely precise when applying it. It smudges very easily if you try to make a correction. Oh and sweat makes it run, so, so much for waterproof. I WANT BIG AND BRIGHT BACK. please and thank you. 07/17/2012
A great Product I use Bare Minerals exclusively and this eyeliner is the best yet. So smooth and creamy to apply. No more pulling at your lash line. It is waterproof which is keeps it in place. If I had to say anything bad it would be that it is a little harder to get off, but if you use makeup remover it comes off well. 07/17/2012
I like the old forumula/size better I really dislike the new formulation. The pencil is so much thicker than the original, which makes it almost impossible to get a sharp point. I have a very hard time getting the thin line that I prefer for eye liner. It ends up looking messy, so I have to smudge it over and over to make it look neat. And I find that it flakes like crazy, which is a surprise because the old formula did not. The plum color i use is beautiful, but honestly I can't wait for this new pencil to be used up so that I can find another brand of eye liner that is thin like the old formula. So disappointing. 07/17/2012
Not worth the price I loved loved loved the old eyeliners, my sister in law talked me into trying it, I just didn't want to pay that much, but once I tried it I was hooked!!! But this new eyeliner is not worth the $$ - first of all it is so soft that you have to sharpen after one aplication if you want a sharp point so there fore this eyeliner is not going to last half as long as the other did!!!!!! I wore it while swimming and it does stay on, but the fact that it cost so much, I would like for it to last a long time like the old liner did. I am very disappointed that BE totally did away with the old eyeliner, they should let us have a choice, not all ladies like to wear waterproof makeup! Please bring back the old eyeliner because as it stands right now I will not buy this waterproof eyeliner again!! I will go back to covergirl or something else. So sad! 07/17/2012
waterproof eye liner.........not good choice I really liked it at first, then the weather got real hot and smude proof, waterproof no longer. But the worst part is trying to sharpen it. I tried several different sharpeners and none worked, the lead either broker off or stuck in the sharpener. Sorry, but I woudl not oreder this product as it is. If improvemnts are made I may try again. Needs tweaking. 07/17/2012
Go back to your drug store brand I've tried these in kits and was incredibly disappointed. The colors are fine and the liner does have a creamy consistency, however that's where the positives end. It doesn't glide smoothly enough to create an even line and I ended up with very crooked and uneven eyeliner... like something you'd get trying to do your make-up on a rocking boat. Wasn't impressed with this product at all. I loved the Big & Bright eyeliners and how they retracted, had built-in sharpeners and smudgers, and lasted all day and night with primer. Since those are gone, I will now have to resort to buying a drug store brand color of charcoal that I used before discovering BE's Big & Bright liners. If you were a fan of those, the Round the Clock liners don't even compare and I'm incredibly disappointed that the old ones have been replaced with these. I won't be buying more. 07/17/2012
I have used 2 to the point that there was no point I have tried sharpening the ones I used and the lead just crumbles or breaks. I have lost much of the eyeliner because they crumble or fall off broken after sharpening. I am not able to use the lead after sharpening. I am pleased with this product when it is brand new, but that's it. 07/17/2012
