Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner - null
Bring back the twistable
This pencil in no way compares to the older (discontinued) twistable one! Was very disappointed with this one and will not buy any longer from Bare Minerals.
Please bring back the twistable!!
I use this on my upper waterline, but after an hour or two, it has smudged down to my lower waterline. I'm constantly having to check and wipe them clean.
Alternatively, if I use it on my lower waterline, it smudges away and becomes patchy and blotchy.
Not impressed, BE.
Pencil sharpener - Really?
The color great! The first application smooth....but a pencil sharpener that leaves jagged edges to use on my eyes: No Way.
Bring back your automatic (read as no sharpener required) liners- they were the best.
I bought the sampler pack quite some time ago and it included three smaller colors and one large one, plum. I love the way it stays on all day. It does need to be smudged, and I wish Bare Escentuals sold a smudger, but I do like it. Colors are a little dark for me, I'm blonde, but once smudged, they work great and stay on forever, until you purposely take them off. I only had problem with one, it was the darker blue, I forget what "time" it was labeled, but I literally couldn't get the top off, had to ask my husband to get it off and once he did, with plyers I might add, it crumbled. Couldn't sharpen it, so I think there was something wrong with that particular pencil, because the rest work just fine, sharpen okay with the included sharpener that came with the kit. I would buy them again. Only one I have found that doesn't wind up in the middle of my eyelid by mid-morning. Like I said, stays put.
I'm So Upset!!!
I have very sensitive eyes. I finally found an eye liner that I can wear and now you have discontinued it. I have used the "Big and Bright" eye liner for a long time and never had a problem. I bought the new "Round the Clock" and my eys burned all day. I am terribly upset. I am almost out of my granite, midnight and charcoal and I can't find any more. PLEASE BRING IT BACK or tell me where I can get some. I hate to have to change makeup brands. I love Bare Minerals. HELP!
Good, at first
I really LOVED this eyeliner, at first. The first day or two I marveled at how smoothly it went on, how long it lasted, and how good it looked. The problem came when it needed sharpening. No matter what sharpener I use, it does not sharpen properly. The soft coloring just falls apart and the sides break. It's almost unusable at this point. For such a soft lead, it should be a mechanical twist up pencil. I'm so sad that a week or so after purchase, my $15 eyeliner is useless. I guess I'll go back to drugstore brands.
Love, love, LOVE this!
This is the perfect, long-wearing eyeliner! It is the first one I have ever found that stays in place all day without smearing or drifting up my eyelids. As for the reviewers who mention problems with the product wearing down too quickly, the secret is to use a VERY light touch when applying it (it glides on so well that's all you need), and to angle the pencil so you are using the side of the point rather than the end. I have gone two weeks without having to sharpen it. Make sure to use the sharpener designed for this pencil and it works perfectly. Don't change a thing about this liner!!
I bought this eyeliner back in the fall and I had wore it from time to time but the waterproof effects didn't matter because I try not to make a habit of crying all the time. But when my father passed away I made sure I wore this eyeliner both days. I cried and cried and when I had a chance to look at my make up my eyeliner still looked great. I wont be wearing anything else ever again.
I have used the big and bright eyeliner for years. This new product packaging is too difficult to open/remove and there is no way to advance the color beyond what is already showing! I will be looking for another brand
I usually use a liquid eyeliner, but I had this eyeliner from a kit that I got and gave it a shot. I just love the color. It stays on great, even on my inner rim! I did buy the BE sharpener (it's so reasonably priced) and have no problems sharpening this liner. I am not sure why people say it's messy or hard to sharpen. I find it easier and cleaner than most pencils. I do wish it didn't need to be sharpened every use, but I prefer that to having a liner that is so hard that you have to struggle to apply it. I find that using a lighter touch and holding the liner at an angle keeps it pointy a bit longer. I can't wait to get a few more colors!
