Brown Eyecolor - null
loose eye color
Great pigmentation and application. My one and ONLY complaint with the BE loose eyeshadows is that they need to adopt the locking lid on these as if you travel with the eyecolor, it is an absolute mess when you open it up since you cannot control what comes through the shaker holes.
I LOVE this color. I receive 3 colors every 3 months with the beauty renewal, and i've collected around 20 shades so far.. but I ALWAYS go back to celestine! This is the perfect light brown/pewter/shimmer color.. just enough shimmer! I am a nurse, and I wear this to work all the time, it's enough to look put together, but not "over done" for that environment. I also pair it with "Drama" for evenings out.
My skin color is "fairly medium" and the brown almost blends exactly to my tone, so in some lights, it looks like i am only wearing tinted shimmer.. there is no defining line of shadow/bare skin.
PS. I need to order more. now :)
I have many brown eye colors and I love them. They always look classy & natural and can go seamlessly from day to night.
Nude Beach--My absolute favorite. I always have at least one unopened spare on hand. BE--I would appreciate an email warning if you ever retire this color so I can stock up. This is perfect for my fair skin (I wear fair and fairly light original foundation)--I can sweep this on and it blends in seamlessly to my own skin tone and evens it out as it adds shimmer. This is almost like wearing nothing.
Grace--Like wearing a hint of color. This also blends in very well and is great for early mornings when you want to look put together, but don't want people to know you woke up early to look good.
Celestine--One of my favorites. Perfect medium shimmery brown. I love to wear this out on low key evening outings.
Moss--Super Versatile. This almost looks like a shimmery, light charcoal gray on me and I LOVE it! I use this when I really want to grab attention on a night on the town. My favorite combo with this is Water Lily all over the lid, Moss in the outer corner & crease and Lust in the inner corners. Blend well and rake in the compliments.
"Summer" is perfect
I love this eye color. Normally I don't use eye shadow but after the tutorial on the website, it was easy. I love the "Summer" shadow. It adds a subtle shade that compliments my brown eyes.
I had gone into the boutique to get an update on the makeup and see what new products came out and I received a sample of Precious eyeshadow. I wanted something light and something that would look nice for interviews and work. I was not disappointed with this color! I had already been using the power eyeshadow from BE and I love them!
I love MOSS!
I love that moss is brown enough to go with browns but gray enough to blend and go with grays. This is my favorite eyeshadow. I love my other colors as well but this one is just perfect!
Nude Beach Eye Color
I have used this color on my eyelid for a few years and really like the color. I just wish the color came in matt AND that there were more matt choices in neutral colors.
I cannot do without Clay
I have used Clay forever as my eyeshadow base. It stays on and never creases. It has a great matte finish.
You have now discontinued it and I'm at a loss. Can anyone tell me what I can now use as an equivalent.
Nice color payoff
I have tried several colors of the shadows and so far the 'brown' lines seem to be my favorite.
Pearl Satin (i think) is far too white; Graphite far too dark; Smokey Sage green is ok if you like greens.
But my favorites so far are Celestine - a nice pretty gray/purple/brozey color. Grace - a nice nude peachy sheen. Rapture - a very wonderful crease color, not too shimmery. Nude Beach - makes an especially good highlight, a litle too "white" not nearly enough "nude"/"brown" to be used as a base color IMO (even though at least 5 store employees have said its their fav color)
If you use a high quality brush and the correct application techniques then these apply lovely.
Dont forget a light fan brush to wisp away any fallout after youre done.
Perfect Color! Cocoa
I have many Bare Minerals shadows but I particularly love "Cocoa". I love the quality for Bare Minerals but their eye shadows are great, pigmented, easy to blend and last a long time without ceasing on me (but I tend to get oily lids) and they last FOREVER. I've had mine a looong time and I'm *trying* to use it up.
Cocoa is the PERFECT matte brown color. I'm sure it would work for anyone with light to medium coloring. It's the probably the only Bare Minerals color that I will repurchase again and again. It's my go-to neutral.
