Frame & Define: Brow Styler - null

For many of the same reasons others have listed I will not be purchasing this product again. Really liked the powder but decided to give the pencil a try. The color is much harder to match with a pencil and I'm extremely bummed with the small amount of product that is in the pencil. I am one who, besides foundation and mascara, NEVER uses a complete tube/stick/jar of anything. This pencil didn't last nearly as long as I expected it to. I'll be looking for something else, more than likely in a powder.
Don't like brow pencils.
I don't like brow pencils. They take more time to use and don't look natural. The original brow brush was quick, filled in my brows and gave me a very natural look. Please bring it back. Please Please Please!!!!
Please bring back powder
I used the powder everyday! Please please bring it back, it was the best. I will have to find another brand that carries powder because the pencil was awful.
Bring powder back!
Hate the pencil! Looks unnatural. Miss the powder! Please bring it back!
I truly miss the powder. Please bring it back. I wasn't happy with the product at all. It doesn't define the brows like the powder and it doesn't last as long. It is no different than the much cheaper brands you find in stores.
may still need a little work
I've read the complaints about bringing back the brow powder, well they really need both. The powder is great for filling in brows but if you have thinning brows or they simply fall out like mine, then you need a brow pencil. The powder simply does not work on bare skin where a brow needs to be drawn in. When I saw that they had finally made a pencil, I had to try it. I had no problems with it breaking because I'm experienced with drawing in brows. It takes only a little pencil and a light hand. I have to say though that there either needs to be a third shade or make the dark pencil a tad lighter. I have dark brown hair with reddish tones so I usually use a dark pencil but even this one was too dark. If I'm very light handed with it, it's ok but I need a little more coverage where there's no brow at all. Also, it didn't go on real smooth and seemed to wipe off too easily when I used the spooly or a blending brush. This product is ok but for the price, I think I'll stick with my $5 drugstore brow pencil. BM, see if you can come up with a smudge proof/water proof pencil and I will revisit the product again.
what a huge miss!
Please bring back the brow powder, even the light color pen is too dark. No matter how careful you are the pens break, don't purchase the pens you will absolutely be disappointed. I will be shopping another brand for a brow powder.
love the powder
I wish you still had the brow powder, I like it better, I am looking for a powder in a different brand
No No No
Oh my.. No pencil. Please bring back the powder. When I was young, I got really pluck happy so the powder helps really thicken and fill what is left (its slowly slowly coming back). I have such a hard time with the pencil because its not forgiving and I can not for the life of me get them even with this thing. Not to mention, the light is too dark! My eyebrows are dark blond/light brown and even the 'light' pencil is too dark. The powder was perfect. Soo sad. I hope BE listens to the very loud outcry and brings back the powder. I will not be getting another pencil... I will find alternatives elsewhere.
Do NOT spend the money on this. The pencil is extremely thin and if you apply anything more than soft pressure, it will break. You can buy inexpensive brow pencils from a local drug store that will work much better than this. I love Bare Escentuals, but this was a huge miss.
Where is the brow powder??!?!
Please bring back the powder! I have been using it exclusively for 10 years and it has always been perfect just as it was. It has been a staple, and it is something that I use every single day. The pencil is nowhere near as natural-looking as the powder. PLEASE bring it back!!!!
Bring Back Powder!
I forgot my powder liner on a weekend trip last year. Stopped into a boutique, thinking problem solved. The sales associate informed me that the powder liner has been discontinued but that they have this great new pencil available. So I tried one. No matter how I try to apply it, it just doesn't look as great as the powder. Not too mention the color isn't ideal. BE, please consider bringing back the brow powder!!!
Bring back powder...this is awful! Don't waste your money!
Bring Back the Powder!!
Neither of the colors available look good on me. I loved the powder as it went on well and looked great! The pen doesn't last long at all, and I hate it.
Like but needs improvement
I really like this new pencil I find that I am more precise with the coverage and I don't over do it. But I do think it needs some tweaks. First I went through it in a month I think it should last a little longer than that for the price. Also I kept breaking the tip off which is probably part of why i used it up so quickly. I think the pencil could be softer so I am less likely to break off the tip.
Otherwise I really like it
I love this product
I bought a makeup package on cyber monday from bare escentuals and this came with it. I like this way more than the brow powder I was using before. I find it easier to get the precise shape I want and the spoolie is great for blending. The shade really works for me. It probably should come in a couple more shades though. I don't feel 2 is enough and I probably got lucky that it worked for me. Overall though I love it and will continue to buy it as my brow product.
Bring back the powder
I love Bare Escentuals. However...I hate the brow pencil. Hate the light or dark choices. Hate the way it looks on me. Hate the way it breaks easily.
Bring back the powder please. The powder was the best.
I join the many women who want the powder back.
Breaks / doesn't last long!
I bought this at the boutique after the sales associate told me how good a product it is. True, it did look nice on my eyebrows… but it barely lasted a month! And the pencil broke almost every time I used it. I cannot justify the price paid for how long it lasted.
Please, please bring back the powder
What a disappointment! This pencil does not last for much more than a month and is definitely not worth the price. The powder lasted for several months, had a much better color selection and looked far more natural than this scrawny pencil (which also breaks easily, by the way). I bought this in mid-December and less than a month later it was finished. Not a good value at all. So I've gone back to the brow powder compact that I purchased at an unnamed beauty supply for less than half of what this pencil costs. And I will continue with that product until BE brings the powder back.
LISTEN to your customers BE - we are not happy with this pencil!!
Where's my brow powder!?
I love BE products BUT; I agree with everyone on this one... brow powder needs to be brought back ASAP. Getting rid of it was a BAD career move and I have been a valued customer for many years. The brow powder is one of my faves and I always get tons of compliments on my brows with it. I refuse to use a pencil. I really hope that BE reads these reviews and makes the right decision to bring the brow powder back. It set them aside from all other products and brands. Hopefully people will write to them as I did and it will spark enough interest for them to listen. I'm just scared that other things will be discontinued or changed because I really don't want to be forced to find and settle for another cosmetic brand. :(
Needs to last longer, need AUBURN!
Thought I would love this product. It does have a really nice, fine point to shape your brows well, but it's very delicate and breaks easily. However, even if it didn't break, it doesn't last anywhere as long as drug store brow pencils. Worst of all, there is no auburn, so my brows don't really go with my natural color hair! That's the most disappointing part. I will probably go back to my drug store brand.
Who said the powder was bad??
No warning on discontinuation of brow powder. Just this pencil to replace it? Had to switch brands to have powder. I will switch back when BE realizes the big mistake they made. I hope more people will write in to have the powder brought back. Nothing worse than favorite makeup being discontinued.
Please bring brow powder back!
I am so glad I still have at least half of my container of brow powder left now that I see it has been discontinued. I hope I don't drop it! Bring it back please. It looks so natural. And since my brows are beginning to be more silver than brunette, natural looking brows can be a challenge. I have been using BE products, including the brow powder since my kids were babies and my youngest is now 17!
Very Disappointing Product and Color
I have been using the BE powdered brow shaper in "auburn" for years. I love that I can fill in with the stiff BE brow brush to create a feathery, natural-looking brow. I can't get that look with this brow pencil, not to mention the fact that neither of the color choices look flattering on me- I'm a redhead. Please bring back the brow powder!!
Wow! Lots of people hate this product- I will admit, BE has lots of new products that I won't buy after trying them. (I'm not a fan of most of the Ready products) This one is nice. I liked the powder too, but it was a long process to get ready for the day. The pencil is quick and it doesn't have a "pencil" effect. It's totally worth a try. If your pencil keeps breaking, you're pressing too hard. It's worth the price and the time you're going to save.
Eyebrow Kit Substitution
If it is not broke don't fix it. Leave well enough alone and give us back the original eyebrow kit. This product is exceptional and should not be replaced. If I wanted a pencil I could go to any local drugstore or discount store and get what would never replace the eyebrow kit that your company developed. BRING BACK THE KIT!!!!!!
Powder! Powder! Powder!
So, I admit I haven't tried this product. Frankly, I don't need to. I don't like pencils. They don't look natural only my barely-there pale brows and rarely blend with my light auburn hair. BE's Ash was perfect. It didn't go on too dark and it was easy to apply and blend. It didn't cover up the dash of red in my natural brow but gave my brows just a little more depth. I am heartened to see so many others equally disappointed in this decision by BE to remove this product from their line-up. Maybe we'll be heard. Sadly, this isn't the only change in recent weeks and I find myself steering away from BE products in several areas. Unfortunately, I'm making do with a cheaper product from someone else and it's a pain because it's too heavy and I have to put it on very carefully and still wipe half of it off. Frustrating.
Bring Back the Powder!
When I heard the powder was gone I was really disappointed. I had finally found something that looked really natural and I had gotten good at using it. I have recommended it to all my friends. I was really going to give the pencil a try but after reading all the reviews, there is no way I will throw away my money. Plus the color choices are really limited. Until you bring back the powder I will be using a different product. I use your products exclusively for my face. First time I have ever been disappointed in Bare Escentuals! Please bring back my strawberry honey blond brow powder.
Brow pencil breaks too often
First, I do like using a pencil vs. a powder, but when the point keeps breaking, it's not worth the price. The taupe color of the roll-up brow pencil worked well for me (I have light brown eyebrows), but it's very thin. Being thin does achieve thin lines when constructing your brow; however, being thin also causes the point to break off when you put any kind of pressure on it. I was constantly having to roll up a new point. As a result, the pencil lasted maybe a month.
PLEASE BRING BACK BROW POWDER
Worst day ever! I found out that the brow powder has been discontinued! I am unsure why there would be a need to discontinue such a wonderful product! Everywhere I go, women ask about my eyebrows and what I use! I am now down to the end of my last powder, and I will be finding a different brand for everything. I won't be coming back to bare escentuals until the brow powder does. Very disappointing.
