Stroke of Light Eye Brightener - null 4.6 5 96 96
good not great I've tried a lot of concealers and this one is not my favorite. I prefer powder to liquids to begin with but I tried this because it had such great reviews. I thought the liquid was a little too thin and it wasn't luminous enough. I would use it again but I wish they'd give it a glossier finish. It did work to cover up dark circles. 01/23/2016
Decent concealer This concealer does not have much coverage but it's very illuminating and instantly brightens up the under-eye area. If you have wrinkles in your undereye region or if you have very thin skin it will crease and wrinkle! 12/01/2015
BE illuminator. I use on a daily basis, it is the last thing I put on. I form an upside down triangle under my lower lids, careful not to disturb my mascara/liner on the lower lid. I use a small brush to blend n then the larger brush to totally blend everything in. I use the excess on the 1st brush to cover pink cheeks n a red nose. After applying to the top of the nose/cheek area blend well with wide brush. then I apply all night finishing spray,to my whole face to set everything. that holds on all your faceup thru sweat, running , dancing and normal wear. You look like you just put your makeup on 30 minutes ago. I now have about 20 people who complete their face with Bare Minerals "Stoke of Light". Keep it coming 10/30/2015
Love this product This product is the only eye brightener that actually brightens my eyes. I've tried everything. I always look tired and this product makes me look well rested without having a cakey look under my eyes. 10/30/2015
Great as a concealer I know that this is supposed to be used as a highlighter, it worked fabulously as a concealer as well. Love its versatility. 08/16/2015
I finally found a great concealer! In years and years of wearing makeup, I've never found an undereye concealer that wasn't (either) cakey or too thin to address my undereye shadows. This brightener has great color saturation for impressive coverage, applies smoothly and does not require any pulling at the skin under the eye. The color seems to lock in for a fresh look, and there's no running or fading. I ordered shade 2, which is perfect for my undereyes, and could probably also use shade 1 to highlight the lid and brow bone. Having struggled with disappointing concealers for years, I'm thrilled! 08/13/2015
Amazing, wish there were more of it It is absolutely the best concealer I've ever used, but unfortunately, it runs out fast. And there's often a lot left that I cannot use, because of the shape of the case. But I don't see anyone else with this problem, so maybe it's just that I apply to much. Still, if I had to choose just one makeup product to use for the rest of my life, this would be it. 08/10/2015
Good product, horrible packaging This product was suggested to me last summer for covering under eye darkness and general face highlighting. While I love the product, the tube that it comes in and the applicator are subpar at best. The product gets stuck in the bottom and top of the tube, meaning that at least half the product is being wasted because you just cant get it out of the tube. You can see through my tube in the middle, the only part where you can angle the applicator wand enough to scrape product off the sides. In addition, either the product doesn't have that great of coverage, or the applicator wand just doesn't get enough product on it the first time. I find myself constantly double or triple dipping to get enough product. This could also be because of the tube problem though. I think a shorter, fatter, package with a wider opening would be better. With a more tapered and angled, cone shaped wand tip as well, to allow for more diverse application. 08/06/2015
Brightens my dark circles and corners around my eyes! I love this product. I have dark Asian skin and I use a shade lighter than my medium tan foundation. It stays on all day. Several people have commented that "you look really today" or "are you doing something different". Without the dark circles I look more energetic and younger than my 56 years. 08/05/2015
Pretty Solid Luminizer I have been using this product for a couple of months, and I have to say it's a pretty good luminzer. I use this on the high points of my face (top of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose) after I apply my foundation. The tube also lasts a long time so you get your money's worth. I would recommend trying this product out! 07/11/2015

I always use BE hydrating eye cream before concealer. But I wondered if I should use it under stroke of light, since it is much less heavy than cream concealer. Would it make stroke of light runny, or cause it to not "stick"?

Go through Bare Minerals Foundation Finder (http://www.bareescentuals.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-BareEscentuals-Site/en_US/Home-Show#ShadeFinder-Show). When you get to the shade-matching section, take notice of which phrase the shade you use falls under...either light, medium, tan, dark, or deep. Luminous 1 goes with "light", Luminous 2 goes with "medium", Luminous 3 goes with "tan", luminous 4 goes with "dark" and "deep". I wear medium tan and use Luminous 3.

Hope this helps!

I don't know which foundation shade you use, but I use Fairly Light (I have used Fair also) and the consultant in store gave me "luminous 2". By itself Stroke of Light has good coverage, which I think would cover even very dark circles. When I use the concealer, I put it on prior to my foundation and they blend well together. I hope it works for you!

I use Luminous 1 on my pale skin (I've been compared to ghosts before) and I think it looks great. I don't even cover this with foundation afterwards.

I use both products and I find them quite different. The coverage of well rested will vary quite a bit depending on how you apply it. Well Rested applied with a concealer brush (one layer) is more opaque than the brightener and I find I have to cover Well Rested with foundation. I never cover the brightener with foundation and find it to be a semi-sheer cover. I prefer the brightener, but I do not have very dark circles to cover. I do think the brightener looks better as an acne cover though.

I would say for coverage of least coverage to most it goes Well Rested, then Stoke of Light Brightener then the coverage concealer. The well rested just takes you a step up where as the stroke of light goes on to conceal a little bit more. The best concealer would be the one with the work concealer in its name :P

This is a cream fomula, well-rested is a powder. I found that well-rested sat in the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes more than this product did. However, neither actually COVERED my dark circles or lines.

From my experience, The well rested looks better when applying it, but the Stroke of Light lasts longer. My solution is to use all three products - I use the Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener, then the Stroke of Light, then the Well Rested Powder. It may feel a bit overkill...but I've never been happy with my brightness of my eyes until now.

I find the coverage to be better with this than with the well rested. This product is easier to cover with and lasts so much longer than when I wear the well rested.

I have not tried the well rested yet, but I have tried the stroke of light. If you want coverage and say well rested has this, do not try the stroke of light. It is a very light and airy formula, which is good, but doesn't cover dark circles. I can't even tell I've even put it on as a matter of fact. Hope this helps somewhat.

the concealer(powder) gives more better coverage than the "well rested". It is my opinion. But everybody should try these products that to see what is most suitable for self.
"Well rested" too light-coloured(porcelain) for me though the tone of my skin is fairly-light

YES, it is better. Much better, actually. If you're referring to the liquid version of well-rested, the Stroke of Light has the brightening effect as well as a concealing benefit. I found that well rested's concealing capabilities were next to non-existent. The stroke of light picks up where well rested left off. It brightens your look but it has color in it. I haven't used it anywhere except under my eyes so I can't say if I would use it as a highlighter. But the coverage is definitely superior.
