Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner - null
Please remake to include a sharpener
I love this waterproof, non smearing eye liner. I have looked a long time for one that would not run and make you look like raccoon eyes half way through the day and this one really works for that. My problem with the liner is not being able to sharpen it. I loved the old one with the built in sharpener. I prefer a light thin line on my bottom lids and you can not get one with this liner. I will use it for my upper lids but will not reorder.
I love this color
I have hazel eyes and a great eyeliner color has been hard for me to find. I got this in the RSVP kit and love it. I am so glad to see that I can now buy a replacement liner as sharpening the original one has been a big problem.
Like the original liner better
The waterproof liner does not go on as smoothly as the original liners. The original liners also had a built in sharpener to get a good tip for thinner and more precise lining. The first time I tried to sharpen this the color pulled completely out of the pencil for about 2 inches.
I bought this on QVC before it was available in the boutiques and online. I love this. In my opinion, this is the best eyeliner BE has (better than the loose mineral liner and the Big & Bright). This has not irritated my sensitive eyes. The 8am is a dark brownish/black shade that is dark enough without being in-your-face black. This is very smooth, press very lightly or you will break the tip. I smudge with a BE liner brush and it softens the look yet without taking away the color intensity.
This stays on all day and wears nicely. I give this 5 stars because I love the color pay off, the wearability, the portability, and how smooth it is (no tugging!). However, there are a few things to be aware of, but it doesn't take away from my 5 stars: 1) make sure you put the lid on tight so it doesn't dry out. 2) be extremely careful when sharpening; this is very smooth, smoother than other "smooth" brands I've tried, and you can easily break the tip or oversharpen so that you waste a lot of product. 3) be very careful when applying so you do not press too hard, if you do you'll break the tip. I wrote to BE and told them a way to improve this would be to include a sharpener (hopefully built in) specific to this type, as the traditional sharpeners can been too much and take off way too much product.
In my experience, because it is so smooth and because of sharpening it, you will go through this faster than most similar liners...however, it is worth it!
Missed the mark on this one
I liked the old eyeliners that had the sharpener built into the pencil. This one goes on OK and stays long enough but you have to sharpen it with a pencil sharpener. Good luck with that. When I tried to do it it just kept breaking off on me. I couldn't get a good point on it at all. All I accomplished was wasting half the pencil. At the price I paid I can't afford it all ending up in the trash. I feel they really took a step backwards with these eyeliners! Wish I hadn't thrown out the packaging so I could return them.
I have long been looking for a eyeliner that would go on and stay on. This is it. It gives a perfect smudgy look if not too sharp. (Make sure to note that even though the applicator looks like plastic, it can be sharpened with any eyeliner sharpener). I love this color with my blue eyes. Having it waterproof really helps with my watery eyes. I am ordering more now.
Love these eyeliners
I got the 7pm shade in my RSVP kit around the holidays and loved it! I've been waiting ever since for the full line of colors to come out.
Long wear, but...
I like the staying power of these liners, but they don't come with a sharpener, and they're just too soft for a regular sharpener! Every time I try, the tip of the color breaks off and gets stuck down inside it. Please, BE - can you find a way to make these like the other liners, twist-up with a sharpener on board?
