My favourite radiance
I have a number of various radiances - this one is my favourite. It gives just perfect completely sheer glow on top of foundation, blush and few other complexion enhancers that I use every now and then. For those who are worried that radiance makes you shiny as if you have oily skin - it doesn't. It gives you glow, not shine. You might just have to try it on to understand exactly what I mean, but there's a big difference between glow and shine. I like to sweep it all over face, and then add a bit more on top of cheeks under eyes to create that extra glow to highlight the face as if when I smile and my cheeks catch more light.
I use it when I break out
Sometimes I still break out--badly. Even after applying foundation and concealer, sometimes I still either see the redness, or the bumps look so obvious that it's very unappealing.
This is where Clear Radiance comes in. I can apply it before my makeup to give it far better coverage than foundation and concealer alone. Or, for a quick fix, I apply it over my makeup. It has a diffusing effect on blemishes and bumps, making them look less apparent. I mean the difference is night and day. You must really try it for this, if you have similar issues.
Here is some evidence on how good this product makes me look: On the worst day of my life, when the love of my life broke up with me, I wore this product to cover the grey hue my skin had, due to the terrible shock. People complimented me all day long, saying I looked "Radiant" and "Glowing". It was ironic that I wasn't in a better place within which to hear such kind words, but it stuck with me. Now, when I want to look awesome--even on my worst days, I wear this.
And by the way, my skin is oily. This doesn't make me look oilier.
If they ever discontinue this, I'll drive up to wherever they are and break some windows and slash some tires.
Kidding. But I would consider it.
Very subtle effect
This is not my favorite Radiance. Even though I have fair skin, I find this too subtle. Maybe it blends in with my skin too well. The quality is excellent, but it just doesn't do anything special for me.
If I use it, it's mostly for softening an eyeshadow or blush shade that I found a little too dark or harsh.
Baby soft pink
This is a must have for a soft radiant pink blush !
Very pretty glow
I wasn't sure if I would like this as much as pure radiance. Pure radiance almost gives you a sunny glow, it doesn't have a pink hue but more of an amber one. Clear radiance is definitely a pink hue. I do like it for a change though. It's my second go to after clear radiance. I'm very happy with my purchase!
CAN'T GO WITHOUT THIS!
I wear this with all of my makeup regardless. I always put it on top of all blushes and even on top of True All Over Face Color (which is sparkly on its own). This adds just the right amount of shimmer--like a dewy, youthful glow, not like glitter. Sometimes if I'm low on time, I'll use this as an eye shadow (I apply with my angled blush brush) for just a hint of extra glow. If this is ever discontinued I will cry.
i love clear radiance
just love this. I use it for eye shadow too, and all over on place of mineral veil, it brightens your face and gives you a nice pink glow.
perfect highlighter for my pale skin
i have very pale skin and am thrilled with how this looks on my skin. it's my perfect highlighting powder! it's soft and shimmery, but not too much that i look like a glittery teenager. i love this radiance powder
Dewy and Glowy
In the original powder I'm Golden Dark, same for the Matte. In the READY foundation, I'm Warm Dark. I've used Clear Radiance on my skin from a free 4-pc. set I received free from a $40 bare minerals purchase at my local Ulta store. Very pleased with it! It was the LAST one they had. Came with a mini primer, mini mascara, mini moxie gloss in Rebel and a small container of Clear Radiance. I used this with one of my bare minerals mini Taklon/Synthetic tapered blush brushes from my 4-pc. Mini Masters set. I would dust this evening all over my face. I feel that a "swirl, tap, buff" motion would be good on the original brushes to apply this. On the Taklon/Synthetic brush I've been using, I feel the brushes hold IN powder in one spot versus the powder being distributed over the bristles like the original brush. In my opinion, the Taklon brushes are softer and it's good for applying foundation. As far as finishing powder (mineral veil) and complexion enhancers (clear radiance, warmth, rose radiance, etc.) I feel that has to be more even along the bristles or have a lot of product so that it can spread evenly on the face. But the Taklon bristles ARE soft and my makeup looks much better when I use them to apply my makeup. I still have my two loose powders (original and matte) and also my Flawless Face Brush to fall back on or travel with just in case. The small container this Clear Radiance is in, I would put it in a bigger jar top so I can properly swirl this evenly amongst the bristles and apply it all over my face. IN a small container, the powder collects evenly to just the TIP of the brush and that makes application a little more difficult. All in all, I love both types of brushes. Clear Radiance is a win for me. I wouldn't apply it all the time on my face because it does have a bit of a glowy/dewy/sheen look to it so a little goes a long way. Too much and it may look along the lines of a highlighter/luminizer kind of look. Since I have darker skin, Warmth or Rose Radiance may be a better choice for me. Clear Radiance isn't a complete "no" for me, but it works in moderation. Warmth does warm my skin, but subtly. It kind of blends into my skin and not exactly noticeable. The Rose Radiance, mention to me by a BE representative via customer service, would be a great complexion enhancer for darker skin. I haven't tried it yet, but it does look really pretty and hopefully one day I'll be able to try it :-)
A beautiful subtle pink glow
This has been my go to radiance for years. I only wish now that this exact formula and shading is in a Ready format (the current Ready luminizers are NOT the same as these). You can't tell by the pictures, but it has the most beautiful, light pink glow.
