I love this stuff!
I never really understood how bare minerals eyeshadow lasted before I used this. Everytime I went into the store, and saw the girls wearing it, I just couldn't understand how they got they eyeshadow to stay on. I stopped buying the eyeshadow because I was convinced it was a waste of money, and that eyeshadow primer was just a way of getting me to spend more money on something that I didnt need.
Needless to say, my last trip to BE, one of the girls told me that they have an awesome return policy and that if I try something new and I don't like it... it can go back!
Well, I love this stuff. It looks awesome by itself without eyeshadow for a little glimmer, and it intesifies all of their shadows, and they stay on ALL DAY! The only reason why I returned to BE after purchasing this, was to buy MORE eyeshadow! I love this stuff!!

b.e. makes the best eye primers
I love the original under my concealer. My concealer adheres to it. It lasts all day this way without settling into fine lines. I like the brightening with warmer makeup colors. I like this brightening pearl with cooler makeup colors. You only need the tiniest bit, so the tube will last you a very long time. It smooths out any uneveness on the lid. They can all be worn alone, they are so pretty on the lid. Your makeup will last until you take it off. These go great with the new liners, they glide on with primer under.

not the original
this is not my favorite I would return this if i hadnt thrown away the box. I miss the "pen style" on the old primer..bring it back! This primer has a sheen glow to it and it looks like eyeshadow. It changed the color of my cultured pearl eyeshadow..I prefer the non shimmery primer and it needs to go back to the pen style.. the small tube is not as easy to hold and i have to use my finger. If you do not want shimmer do not order this..I guess i ordered the wrong one thinking it would be better... not my favorite.

B.E.autiful
Soooo a few days before this product came out I purchased the regular eyelid primer because I wear eyeshadow(s) EVERYDAY. I got to try the other primer for a few days and was somewhat satisfied, but I fell IN LOVE with the new brightening primers when I saw them. It takes a little time to figure out the best way to apply it, but when you get it right it works wonders! Great by itself or to add that extra flawless look to eye shadow!

it's all in the application
i was unsure about this pearl primer at 1st,
hoping it would be similar to a shimmer eyecolor.
but it is " different" !!
took me awhile to find how to best use this .
i tried it alone all over the lid,
it wasn't what i expected, but it does
keep eyecolor on all day , if applied correctly.
it's pretty amazing .
the trick is using a brush to apply it.
i was using my finger & couldn't get it on
smoothly.
but with the BE eyliner brush, just get a little
on the tip & line the upper lid.
the result is just BEautiful ~

Disappointing
When I saw this product I was super excited, it looked nice when the girl at the BareMinerals boutique put it on her hand so I bought it. The product does not apply smoothly and is difficult to blend it kind of smears and some areas seem more intense with other areas left with little or no coverage. It also did not improve the appearance of the eyeshadow the way the original eyelid primer did.

Brightening Pearl Prime Time Eyelid Primer
It is the perfect eye primer! I do not find it necessary to add another color to just under my brow line. I am looking forward to more new products. Thanks B.E.

A Touch of Luminosity
I bought this Product but didn't use it prior to the National Make Up Artist at my Las Vegas Boutique appointment. Rachel (the national artist) used it and was the first to say, a teeny bit will work miracles. If you are the owner of dark lids, or the inner ridge near the nose, this is THE product. You can use it to even out, use as a highlighter under your brow, use it as a brighter if you feel a color isn't a "pure" as you like and also a teeny bit as the models do -- on the inner corner of your eye -- with the thin eyeline brush to achieve that brightness that everyone uses white to achieve. It's a multi tasker, keeps the shadows in place and I was SOOOO excited to see it arrived nationwide. A GREAT purchase.

Not what I was hoping for.....
I read the desciption thoroughly and went to my local dept. store who has a BE counter there- so excited to see if they had gotten this- and YEAH, they had it. The sales girl tried both of them on my hand. Tough call, but it seemed, and she agreed the "pearlish" one worked better for more fair skin tones than the more gold one. Besides w/ blonde hair- I didn't want to look like an Emmy Award! (All brassy) I took this home and used my new "pearl" one the next day. Oh- a tiny bit goes a looooong way, comes out in a rather large amount- and I hope you are good at blending..I am and even I had a hard time making this look even! I didn't think it held up nearly as well as the regular lid primer. And be careful not to get it on your lashes even the slightest touch will get it there. Sorry BE- I love you, but this one is going back.
