READY Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20 - null
Perfect for Travel
My normal BE foundation is the Golden Fair or Light MATTE loose powder. This came out and I was very excited to try it, the first couple times I wore the READY I buffed... bad idea.... the makeup looked terrible! But when i sweep it across my face and pat in the areas I need more coverage, it is flawless. I apply the READY with the precision face brush. Love to have this in my bag to make sure my skin is flawless all day long. Make sure to get a little darker than you wear in the Original or MATTE, this runs light.
This is sooooo good!
This is my second wearing day! And I am in love!!! This looks so natural and just plain BEAUTIFUL! I'm fourteen and have mild acne and some redness but this stuff gets rid of IT ALL! It gives your skin an amazing soft silky feeling with an amazing color! <3
PS: A little bit of blush, some chap stick and mascara and you've got yourself a model!!
I love it!!
I'm usually a matte "golden tan", but I get very dry in the winter,so I end up looking "powder-y".I vaguely remember reading about "Ready" in a magazine,so I looked for it here.I read the reviews, followed the" buy a shade darker "recommendation,& long story short,it's AWESOME!!!
Thanks for a great product!
Love it so much I'm ditching the loose powder!
I've been a fan of the loose powder for a while, and have used the original and matte products. Matte didn't work as well for me so I stuck with the original. It's been good generally, but sometimes my sensitive skin just feels itchy in it and the staying power hasn't been as good as I'd have liked -- especially on my nose. Still, I've liked it better than liquid foundations though I have also found that using a tinted moisturizer first has resulted in a better finished look for me. Recently I visited a boutique to take advantage of the larger sized foundation that's available only a few times a year but also bought a compact of the Ready foundation because I wanted one I could keep in my purse for touch-ups. They told me at the store that the two foundations are very different, and that a different type of brush was best for application, and that was all correct (I bought the little travel brush with the cover -- it's awesome). I like the Ready foundation MUCH more than the loose powder foundation now! Different brush, different type of application, goes on much faster and easier, the coverage is better and it feels fabulous. Seriously -- I'm not one for jumping around and trying different products. If I find something I like or even something that works I will often stick with it because I hate wasting money on products I end up not using because it doesn't look good on me or doesn't live up to the hype.
This stuff lives up to the hype. I have normal to dry fair sensitive skin, am 40 years old and have some issues with uneven skin tone and this foundation so far has been great for me! Definitely worth a try.
Ready SPT 20 Foundation
I hve been a Bare Minerals foundation user for along time. I thought I would try the Ready SPF and am sure glad I did. Great Coverage. Stays put alot longer.
It does the job
I have a Golden Dark skin tone. Yes, this does show up a little lighter than it usually does, but if you blend it in well, it's not too bad. Less is more so you don't want to add 50 layers because you feel it didn't buff away what you wanted it to. I love how you can tap the brush in and buff into the skin versus the time wasting swirl tap and buff application. I still like the swirl tap and buff application, but it's so much better knowing you can tap a little and buff getting the same results. Another tip....The Precision Face Brush is SO nice...and the retractable Precision Face Brush. Both are really soft and not like the Goat Hair brushes that are soft, but are straw-like and are more receptive to shedding. The Precision Brushes are made of synthetic fibers (Taklon I think). It's soft, non-irritating and makes makeup application easier, more enjoyable and my makeup even looks better because I've used BE brushes that have the synthetic hairs on them. You can even tell in the pictures if they're synthetic or the original brushes that seem to shed.
Decided to break down and purchase the kit in a store, so I was color matched. Got home and couldn't wait to try it. This is my third day of wearing it and I have only gotten complements...
Love the new compact foundation
I originally had the loose powder foundation from bareMinerals but recently went to a store for a refill and was informed of the new compact foundation. It is the same formula but in a solid form. I absolutely fell in love with this product! It cut my makeup time in half and provides flawless coverage. I've received many compliments on my skin and I believe this product is even better than the lose powder foundation. I have problem skin and find that the solid foundation covers better and looks great. I'd really recommend this product to anyone looking for a new foundation!
The energizer bunny of foundation!
I have been using the original formula for awhile now. I was extremely hesitant to change up my routine. I just couldn't resist giving it a shot last time I was due for a new foundation. I love it! Compared to the loose powder, I get an extra 30 days (at least) out of it too! It did look a little different than my original powder, I am glad that I tried it in the store first to buy the right shade.
I never thought I would give up my Bare Escentuals loose powder, but I love this new foundation. It is hard to get the correct color, I recommend buying it in a store for the first time so a professional can try it on you. Its a little messy, when you get it on the brush, but the cover is great, I am sticking with it
