It's in the color! I tried READY foundation right away when it was released and I didn't like it compared to the Original loose product. I looked like I do when I'm not feeling well - sort of gray and lifeless. I was trying the same color as my loose match. Finally I went into a boutique and they matched me up a shade and it has been wonderful! I love this now! It is so easy to use, so light feeling, so natural and healthy looking, great for travel, I just can't say enough now that I have the right color! 02/19/2013
Forever a bare minerals girl! I have been using the original bare mineral foundation for the past 6 months. I absolutely love this foundation. I thought I needed a fuller coverage and tried many different liquid foundations. After much disappointment with each one I tried the new ready bare minerals foundation. I have completely fell in love with this new foundation. The coverage is amazing and natural. I have been given so many compliments to how great my skin looks and how clear my skin is. I honestly believe that ever since I started using bare minerals that my skin has gone from a 1 to a 5. Anyone who asks me about foundation, now gets refereed to Bare Minerals. I've tried to like it!! I am so frustrated with this product! When I first put it on, it was awesome! It had great coverage and looked so smooth and nice. I ordered it because even though I love the regular loose mineral foundation, it does make my face dry and settle in my fine lines. (I'm only 30, I don't have too many!) So after doing my makeup I left my house and didn't look in the mirror again for hours. I noticed a couple of people kind of looking at my face funny, and when I checked it out, I looked like a mess!!! It was completely caked around my nose and upper lip, and very settled in around my eyes. I did not get sweaty or oily...so I have no idea why it does this? Because, unfortunately, it does it every time. I have a flawless face brush that I use for application, and I really try to apply it lightly and how they tell you to. I am bummed to say the least! 02/12/2013
flawless I went to Sephora last week and lucked out. A Bare Escentual rep. from Indianapolis was there and helped me match the color. I looked best in what I normally wear in the summer. It is not as shinny as the original and not as matte as the matte formula which makes it just perfect. I also bought the new brush which I think helps a lot. A little bit goes a long way and the application technique is somewhat different, but when appllied correctly the coverage which is buildable is seamless. 02/12/2013
Get a color match! I ordered this online according to my regular color choice in original. Big mistake! I normally use fairly light, but had to go to medium beige in this formulation. I never would have thought I should/could go that dark, but the color I ordered would have looked terrible. I liked what I saw when I switched. Still waiting on shipment to exchange for correct color. Go darker (like light to medium) and know your undertones if ordering online. 02/10/2013
Only foundation I'll ever use again I have used BE for years, but have bounced back and forth with other foundations because I felt I needed liquid foundation for better coverage--which usually just made me break out worse. I went in to BE right before coming back to school and thought I would give the new foundation a try. I was matched for color in the foundation, veil, blush, and bronzer. I got all 4. I was absolutely amazed with how flawless my face looked. I bought the new brush as well and when I came back to school my friends kept complimenting how great my skin looked. I am absolutely in love with this product and don't think I will ever change again! 02/09/2013
Confindence in a Compact The sales associate tested my skin and when she realized it was on the dryer side she recommended I try this foundation. She matched it to my skin (2 shades darker than what I had been using in the previous Bare Mineral foundation) and I was amazed at the difference. This make up made my skin look flawless. It covered my sun damage and made my skin glow. The next day at work I had several comments asking what I'd done differently. I felt like a new woman. I've used Bare Minerals for ten years and loved it. I'm so glad they brought another product to make me feel like a million dollars. 02/04/2013
Nothing like the original The convenience of the compact is great but for me this foundation makes my face look very dry. I went into a boutique for a color match and they thought I should go with the same color I wear in the original (medium beige). Once I got it home and put it all over my face I really didn't like the color at all. It's hard to explain. It made my eyelids and under my eyes look bluish. Very strange. Too bad I was hoping I would love it 02/03/2013
Wanted to love and I do but.... This product will clog your pores and may you BREAKOUT!! I have sensitive skin, which is the main reason I started using Bare Minerals. I needed new foundation about a month ago and decided to try READY. I wish I would have stuck with the Traditional that I have used for years. About 2 weeks after starting READY...I had the WORST breakout of my life. Had to be the foundation because nothing else in my skin care regiment had changed. I loved the coverage and the look of the foundation, just not the subsequent breakout. I am going back to the tried and true traditional and never straying again! 02/03/2013
Wonderful stuff! When I found out about the READY Foundation I was curious. I went and purchased some (after getting shade matched of course) and absolutely fell in love!! I know I've heard that you usually have to get a shade or two darker than your loose powder one but in fact I went a shade lighter than my loose powder. It is amazing stuff!! Quicker to use and less mess. Awesome!! 02/02/2013
