Extremely easy to use and works incredibly well!
I had been putting off cleaning my brushes for a while. I don't know why but I was afraid that after I washed my brushes, they would lose their shape or be less soft. So yesterday, I broke down and cleaned the brushes that I use almost everyday. It was amazing how much makeup came off my face brushes! And the dark colors that came out of my crease eye brush. This is definitely worth the money and it will lengthen the life of your brushes. If you haven't cleaned your brushes before, you might need to go through and clean and rinse them twice to get all of the makeup out of them. Also, you should dry your brushes flat after reshaping them. While the brushes were drying, I'd check on them and reshape them if they seemed to be drying funny or not drying in the shape that they are supposed to. Now they are completely dry (it takes quite a while for them to dry on their own, so be prepared to not use those brushes for the day) and look great and feel soft too!

To keep your brushes like new I would recommend washing them with the conditioning shampoo at least every other week (I wash my once a week). This product keeps the bristles in great shape and nothing feels better than putting on makeup with a clean brush.

For a while, I was just using a gentle cleanser on my brushes and this is a dramatic difference. It wipes away almost all traces of makeup. It makes my brushes as clean as when I opened them up. And it doesn't take much to make it go a long way. It's great.

Softens brushes
I love this product! Whenever I use it, it works very well. My brushes are clean again and very soft. I will definitely purchase this again!

I purchased Well-Cared for brush cleaner about six months ago along with several new brushes and was amazed at the results, my brushes still feel like new even with daily use and the occasional use by little cousins. In addition my sister also bought brushes when I purchased this and has not used well-cared for and you can feel the difference, my brushes feel like they did when I first bought them.

I love the Brush Conditioning Shampoo! I just cleaned 49 off my brushes last night (not all brushes) I have more, they all feel so soft and clean, I can't wait too use them.

An absolute brush saver!!!!
'Well-Cared For' does just that; it's truly the BEST and most effective cleansing product I have ever seen for makeup brushes. Prior to discovering this saving grace, I often used baby shampoo like other reviewers listed as well, or even simple hand soap sometimes for cleaning my brushes (awful!). Whatever it took to get them clean. I'm a complete neat freak with OCD, and so, of course this would include all of my BE containers being nicely kept and my extensive collection of brushes clean! When I finally purchased this shampoo and cleaned my entire collection, I was both amazed at its results in the first use, and also appalled at what I saw in my sink!! My brushes were harboring YEARS worth of old makeup and various colors from multiple uses of my Bare Minerals - it was so disgusting to imagine all of that being continuously reapplied to my face day after day. It was shocking to see how much cleaner the Well-Cared For got my brushes to be, when I had always so tediously cleaned them with other agents - it was like they had never been touched (or washed) at all!!!
Now, my almost complete collection of BE brushes (I basically have them all!) is entirely clean, safe and free of germs, and look healthy and feel soft and smooth just like new. I feel so much better KNOWING one hundred percent that they are clean, and that I no longer have to worry about replacing any of my treasured investments. These are good quality, and yes, expensive brushes so ladies please do this simple "extra" step to keep them lasting for a lifetime of makeup use!! You will be so pleased with the results, just as I continue to be.
And a tip for newbies - I highly suggests for your first use of this product, to clean your brushes multiple times in succession to ensure that all of your caked-on powder and colors lurking deep inside the bristles comes out. This makeup's job is to distribute evenly and naturally through this mechanism, but then when it comes time to routinely clean, remember that even in each tiny bristle there is more dirt, oil, and lingering makeup to remove, especially within the inside center of your brush. Just apply the product and rinse, then repeat as many times as necessary until you see clear water when you are rinsing your brushes to ensure all makeup residue is gone. I then squeeze the brushes to remove any excess water, and shape them slightly and smooth each bristle down and together to maintain their shape and feel as they dry. A sure-fire process that promises better-than-ever brushes!!!

I use this on the weekends to wash my brushes when I don't wear as much makeup. It leaves my brushes soft and silky! I even use this on my moms brushes that aren't from BE and it has the same effect.

I use this monthly to clean my brushes and I love it because it doesn't dry out, strip, or leave the brushes with any residue. It makes them feel soft and like new again! It definitely extends the lifetime of the brushes.

When I first started using BE I thought i would be able to get by just washing the brushes with baby shampoo that was a big mistake after washing it the first time my brushes became more course and hurt my face when i applied my make up. So I was online about to purchase a new brush when i decided to give the conditioning shampoo a try first, thank goodness i did my brushes are back to their original softness and working great!
