My favourite radiance
I have a number of various radiances - this one is my favourite. It gives just perfect completely sheer glow on top of foundation, blush and few other complexion enhancers that I use every now and then. For those who are worried that radiance makes you shiny as if you have oily skin - it doesn't. It gives you glow, not shine. You might just have to try it on to understand exactly what I mean, but there's a big difference between glow and shine. I like to sweep it all over face, and then add a bit more on top of cheeks under eyes to create that extra glow to highlight the face as if when I smile and my cheeks catch more light.
perfect highlighter for my pale skin
i have very pale skin and am thrilled with how this looks on my skin. it's my perfect highlighting powder! it's soft and shimmery, but not too much that i look like a glittery teenager. i love this radiance powder
Dewy and Glowy
In the original powder I'm Golden Dark, same for the Matte. In the READY foundation, I'm Warm Dark. I've used Clear Radiance on my skin from a free 4-pc. set I received free from a $40 bare minerals purchase at my local Ulta store. Very pleased with it! It was the LAST one they had. Came with a mini primer, mini mascara, mini moxie gloss in Rebel and a small container of Clear Radiance. I used this with one of my bare minerals mini Taklon/Synthetic tapered blush brushes from my 4-pc. Mini Masters set. I would dust this evening all over my face. I feel that a "swirl, tap, buff" motion would be good on the original brushes to apply this. On the Taklon/Synthetic brush I've been using, I feel the brushes hold IN powder in one spot versus the powder being distributed over the bristles like the original brush. In my opinion, the Taklon brushes are softer and it's good for applying foundation. As far as finishing powder (mineral veil) and complexion enhancers (clear radiance, warmth, rose radiance, etc.) I feel that has to be more even along the bristles or have a lot of product so that it can spread evenly on the face. But the Taklon bristles ARE soft and my makeup looks much better when I use them to apply my makeup. I still have my two loose powders (original and matte) and also my Flawless Face Brush to fall back on or travel with just in case. The small container this Clear Radiance is in, I would put it in a bigger jar top so I can properly swirl this evenly amongst the bristles and apply it all over my face. IN a small container, the powder collects evenly to just the TIP of the brush and that makes application a little more difficult. All in all, I love both types of brushes. Clear Radiance is a win for me. I wouldn't apply it all the time on my face because it does have a bit of a glowy/dewy/sheen look to it so a little goes a long way. Too much and it may look along the lines of a highlighter/luminizer kind of look. Since I have darker skin, Warmth or Rose Radiance may be a better choice for me. Clear Radiance isn't a complete "no" for me, but it works in moderation. Warmth does warm my skin, but subtly. It kind of blends into my skin and not exactly noticeable. The Rose Radiance, mention to me by a BE representative via customer service, would be a great complexion enhancer for darker skin. I haven't tried it yet, but it does look really pretty and hopefully one day I'll be able to try it :-)
A beautiful subtle pink glow
This has been my go to radiance for years. I only wish now that this exact formula and shading is in a Ready format (the current Ready luminizers are NOT the same as these). You can't tell by the pictures, but it has the most beautiful, light pink glow.
Clear Radiance delivers and stands up to it's name. It gives your skin a youthful glow without an oily looking shine. It is clear in color and only adds a very slight barely noticeable pink color over your foundation. I use this along with the foundation and mineral veil for a smooth natural look of perfect skin. The combination of the three doesn't even look or feel like you have any makeup on. Five stars!
Wonderful for the Winter
I really like this radiance during the winter months. It compliments the rosiness I get when I am outside in the cold without looking like I am wearing make up. I love the natural glow that this provides; it is not glittery, sparkly or shimmery it just adds a very natural, healthy looking sheen to my skin.
One of my favorite BE products!
I got Clear Radiance for the first time from a friend, otherwise I might not have thought to try it. I already use the BE concealer, foundation, mineral veil, warmth (all over face color), blush etc. and probably wouldn't have thought to add another step but this product is great. It is more of a very soft pink than clear and might be a nice alternative for those who don't like to use blush. I apply it to my cheeks first then sweep all over the rest of my face. It is less obvious than a highlighter but gives a similar, but more subtle, effect. You end up with a beautiful glow, not looking shiny. This is a great product and I use it everyday.
Loving Clear Radiance
I actually use clear radiance as an eyeshadow. I use it as my base eyeshadow, and as my "highlighting" eyeshadow. I apply it under my eyebrow arch and in the corners of my eyes. It works beautifully. I have started using it on my cheeks and am enjoying how that works as well. I think I an going to branch out and try some of the other radiances, too.
Not for those with yellow undertones
If this exact formula came in a lightest beige or irridescent with no pink, I'd love it. Which is why I'm going to check out the pure or bare radiance or even the diamond gossamer. This was a little too pink for my skin tone. For reference I wear the Golden Fair foundation. I can imagine this color would look so gorgeous on more neutral to pink undertone women. The sheer glow is so perfect. It's not disco-ball teenager shimmer, just adds a pretty, healthy glow. I'd give this 5 hearts if the pink went better with my warmer skin tone.
I love clear radiance! I love to use it on my cheeks and up near my hair line, but especially as an eye shadow! Of all my actual eye shadows, none is used as often as this in their place. This product is very light and great for giving a "radiance" that I don't perceive as oily, and I have extremely oily skin as it is.
