Wish Oil and Solid would Blend!
I have followed the instructions and shaken this product LONG AND HARD, and it is still separated - Liquid (oil) from Solid. I would really like to be able to use it, as it would be wonderful if I could only get the product to mix properly! It would surpass the Prime Time Foundation Primer IF the liquid and solid would blend together! Hope I just received a bad batch of this product, but have no way to judge whether this is true, as I would be foolish to throw good money after bad by purchasing another of this product!

I was having the issue of looking at my face in the middle of the day to find that I looked like I had no make up on. The primer makes my make up last the whole day YEAH!!!

The Sunshine in your Life!
This primer is an awesome, brightening, skin-smoothing product! It's so versatile! It can even be worn without makeup. It's a must-have addition to your makeup wardrobe. It's a great way to brighten up your skin on those dull days. Once you try it, you won't be able to live without it. Just be sure to shake it up before use or it tends to seperate. <3

Really like the brightening primer. I have uneven skin tone with pigmentation and this really brightens up my complexion.

I am not normally a facial primer person...
but I liked the idea behind this one. I will start by saying that you do have to shake it up, for about ten seconds. If you do not shake it the pump will dispense a liquid mess. When shaken properly it should be the texture of a souffle or mousse. It has a very nice texture. When applied, it has a nice glide and makes your skin feel like silk. I leave it set for a few minutes before buffing my foundation in. Do not fear the shimmer. As a matter of fact, I cannot see any shimmer once I buff my foundation over it. It is a bit yellow in color which I think helps to even out redness without making you look yellow or orange. I am acne prone and this made me break out, it would be great for normal to dry skin. I think oilier skin will find it does not hold up to the skins oiliness throughout the day. I deducted a point for the shaking, a point for breaking out and not holding up to my faces oil production. If I had super sensitive skin, dry skin, or normal skin I would love this! I do love the color corrective pigments.

Makes a mess dispensing
I agree. I wish this product came in a tube! I even tried to "pour" it out of the bottle but noticed that the product had "separated". I also shook the bottle but it didn't work. It's like the liquid separates from the "foundation" and "sticks" on the dispensing tube.

Giving it a chance
I've tried this a few times before applying my makeup, and it did seem really runny. But after reading other reviews JUST NOW, I went into my bathroom and shook it really well -- It occurred to me: you NEED TO PUMP OUT THE UNSHAKEN PUMPS FIRST, then the true consistency of the SHAKEN product will come out. Remember, there's a lag time of a few pumps before you will see the affects of your most recent shaking of the product. I hope this makes sense. After about 3-4 pumps and shaking, I got a great consistency to emerge -- so I am excited to try this again tomorrow. I think this product has been getting unfair reviews because people are shaking it, but the product already in the pump isn't being shaken cause it's already in the tiny tube ready to come out...hope this makes sense!

Disappointed
I was excited to try this as I love the original Primetime. But this is not as good as advertised or as the original. The consistency is thick and requires a LOT of shaking in order for it to come out of the pump. If you don't do that you get a water-y substance. I am all about convenience in the morning and I don't want to work that hard to get my products to work. I have resorted to taking off the pump and using it that way. Not a good value for the money at all and a very disappointing product from BareEscentuals.

Why I switched to Brightening Foundation Primer
I wondered if the brightening primer was any different than the regular primer, so I bought it. For me It is amazing. The silky feel it has as well as the clean feel is the same as the regular primer, however this product also ends with a slight luminous glow to the skin without any trace of an oily look. My foundation glides on and I walk out the door with a fresh, clean, look and feel to my face, I love it!

BAD,BAD,BAD
I bought this product and when I went to use it I was expecting it not to be soo runny. It was sooooo runny it went all over the place and caused a hugh mess. I went to the store to and was trying to explain the the girl at the store, she was basically telling me I need to shake it. I did that many of times, even tried to stir the stuff, nothing helped. I like the orginal very well, this product is not so good and I will not buy it again.
