Warmth All-Over Face Color 4.4 5 103 104
The Best BE Product Ever!! :D I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Warmth. I think it is the best product that BE has! I wear it everyday and it totally transforms my look. It's a beautiful golden brown that makes it look as if I just got back from a week on a tropical vacation. This is an absolute must that can be used either as an all over face color, a bronzer, or a blush. Another plus for me, is that it is not shimmery like so many other bronzers are. And it doesn't look orangey or muddy, either. It's a very natural healthy look that I just love! 05/29/2011
Improve Warmth Love this product. Please offer in the "Ready" compact! 11/12/2014
BEST bareMinerals color! This is the BEST bareMinerals All Over Face Color! It makes cheekbones pop, works as a bronzer, and you can even mix it with your regular foundation for a more summery look. The cheekbone contouring is so so important for me because I have a really round face. I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear Warmth. 10/08/2014
It's a multi-tasker Warmth makes up for everything bareMinerals says it does. Instead of looking like a failed oompah loompah, it gives the most natural-looking faux tan or contour, I mean it really does everything. 10/04/2014
So natural looking The Warmth All-Over Face Color came in a kit that I purchased, I am so glad it did because I would NOT have purchased it by itself after much disappointment with other products! Warmth sat in my makup case for a few month, I was intimidated by the dark color (I use fairly-light in the powder foundation & something similar in the Bareskin foundation). I noticed I was getting low on my favorite Mineral Veil & wanted to conserve it until I had time to make it out to my Bare Minerals store. Hesitantly I picked up the Warmth, sprinkled just a little in the lid, swept the brush in, tap tap, and applied it across the upper part of my forehead, across the high points of my cheeks & jaw line. In one of the Bare Minerals videos the makeup artist suggests thinking of making a number 3 across your face starting at your forehead. I was shocked to see the hint of natural color it left! It was not brown, orange or unnatural looking at all! Another awesome product from Bare Minerals! 10/03/2014
Adds a Wonderful Glow I just love this all over warmth. You can put as little or as much as you would like. It doesnt cake. And it leaves a wonderful glow even with my fair skin. 09/03/2014
The BEST face color! I was introduced to warmth a few years ago after receiving a BareMinerals sample pack and I fell in love! It is so heavily pigmented and a little goes a LONG way, so it lasts forever! It is the perfect shade for virtually any skin tone, and has no shimmer. It is great for contouring or just adding a little color all over the face. I have bought two over the last two years (yes, it lasts that long!) and recommend it to everyone! 07/16/2014
Pleasantly Surprised! When I recently started using BareMinerals, I was interested in this product but wasn't sure if I could pull it off with my light skin. But after being shown how to use it properly, I love it! You really just need to use a tiny, tiny bit - you can always add more in layers. I use the angled face brush to contour a bit, then sweep what's left on the brush across my forehead, nose, and chin. I was surprised at how much of a difference it made - It really brings dimension back to your face after applying foundation. I also think it could be mixed with the loose Mineral Veil in the winter to add a bit more subtle color all over. 07/09/2014
I am surprised I love it so much I have porcelain skin (and I never try to tan because I just turn red rather than brown haha). I don't like to use self-tanners or anything either, because I am at a point in my life where I am just happy with my natural light skin and am embracing it rather than fighting it. Plus, most bronzers or tanners just make me look like an oompa loompa, or worse, cause a severe allergic reaction. This bronzer came free with my foundation starter kit, and I decided, what the heck, why not try it. Wow!!! I was totally blown away by how awesome this bronzer looks on me! I have naturally red cheeks, so I never wear blush. But I am actually able to use this bronzer to contour my cheeks a bit, and they look amazing!! I use very, VERY little (and would recommend that light skinned girls like myself do the same), like less than a drop almost is plenty if you are buffing it in well. I go back and use whatever is left on my brush to lightly smooth across my forehead, bridge of my nose, and my chin and my face just looks so much healthier but not orange or muddy at all. To those struggling with this product I would just really recommend using less and working it in slowly as it is very intense and can get crazy dark really fast. I don't see myself living without this bronzer now. One last thing, I really like how it is not shimmery, as that just is not my style and would not be appropriate for my everyday look. Love it. 06/29/2014
Not a fan of warmth I love BM products, but this one just doesn't work for me. I've tried using it several times and it just seems to make my face look muddy or blotchy. 04/30/2014

It should be .07 oz. I went to a website of a store that sells it and it describes it in their description section of the product. You usually will get enough of the products you get. You always want to use your makeup sparingly and wisely. Too little makeup leaves flaws, too much makeup can look cakey and noticeable in a bad way. Less is more. The more natural you look or the less makeup you have to really improve your overall look will help you. I have gone to work and have gotten compliments from a couple women at work. One was older and has a grown son and she complimented me and another is probably 5-6 years younger than I am and I'm 27! That made me feel good that a young person liked my look.

I've heard about a million different explanation for applying Warmth, and I'd like to hear what you all think. Where does Warmth go on the cheeks? On top for a highlight? In the middle for some extra color? In the hollows for a more sculpted cheek look?

There are tutorials out there that show you if you need a visual reference. I put warmth on all the high places of my face, that is my nose, cheeks, chin and forehead. If you wear blush as well, I have had success with putting warmth under my mineral veil and then the blush to highlight the tops of my cheek bones after my mineral veil.

I hope this helps.

I was taught "a 3 and an E." Meaning it's supposed to go from your hair line, loop down to your cheek bone, and then loop down to your neck, then you go right down the middle of your face. I use it as an eye shadow too!

Answer: D. All of the above.
Honestly, you can use it wherever you want. It can be used for all the things you mentioned. I've used it for all of those and then some. I even use it under my eyes where my skin is lighter to make my skintone more even. Have fun and experiment with it! Use it wherever you think it looks good!

I use warmth in different ways depending on what i am trying to accomplish. When I don't wear blush I use it in the middle of my checks. Applying it this way gives me a very natural (no make up) look, it adds dimension to my face without any obvious color. When I am using in conjunction with my blush I apply it to the hollows of my cheeks as a contouring color. My sister, who's skin tone is darker than the warmth, uses it at the tops of her cheeks as a highlight. It gives her a very nice, natural looking glow.

You can all of the above. Try all the above on a different day and see what suits your face the best! Its a win-win product! I like to use it as a full face product and will sometimes use it as a eyeshadow also!

Hi!

I s'pose you'd apply Warmth in whatever fashion suits you. I know some gals use it as a blush. I've used it as an eyeshadow, myself. However, on any given day I personally use it in a "3" shape (w/ a slanted brush) starting at my forehead, sweeping down my temples to below my cheekbones (I like the contoured cheek look, personally), then on down to the chin bone (and under also to provide a shadow). Repeat in a backwards "3" on the other side of your face. I don't think there is exactly one "proper" way to apply warmth, but that's the way I've seen it done in boutiques, etc many, many times. Additionally, I have dabbed a bit on a small brush & applied it down the sides & on the tip of my nose to give it slimmer, more contoured look. This is a great trick to use but it takes a little practice. :)

While I think Warmth is a super product, I have to use it VERY sparingly (only the dust in the lid). I have fair skin w/ pink undertones, and it tends to look really dark, fake, and orange if I'm not careful. I wish BE would develop a Warmth-type product for those of is who are very fair skinned. Dare to dream?

Good luck to you!

Hi!

I just take my lip gloss or lip stick and dip it into the eyeshadow or blush (or whatever product) that is the color I want to tint my gloss or stick, then apply it right to my lips.

TIP: if you are using a lip gloss with a spongy applicator, it can pick up the color you're dipping into and permanently change the color of your gloss. If I want to play with dipping a gloss into BE products, I just buy a cheap lip gloss and experiment. That way, if the color changes I don't feel bad because I didn't spend a lot of money on it. You don't tend to have this problem if you use a lipstick because it is solid and there is no applicator. Whatever you dip your lipstick into is applied directly to your lips and it's not deposited back into your remaining product. Try playing with it! There's no reason why you couldn't try mixing a little product on your hand and apply it with a lip brush. Have fun and experiment! I hope this helps in some small way. Good luck to you!

If you're talking about the big and healthy buxom lip balm, it's for color and texture, so you don't have to add to that if you don't want to.

If you're talking about the lip balm spf 20 or the first base balm, this is to help your lips be soft and supple. You can add color on top of it if you want OR you can keep your lips bare if you want a nice day look to be more natural.

Any products that have the word "matte" in the description won't have any sparkle, shimmer, glitter, or glimmer to them. If you don't see the word "matte" somewhere on the product page it is most likely a glimmery product.

Not all of the products contain shimmer, but many do. I tend to steer clear of them myself, as my skin is quite oily & I feel I have that natural "dewy glow" enough as it is. I know without a doubt that 'Warmth' is not sparkly, I use it as an all over face color, a blush, & I mix it with lotion to create my own self-tanned look. If I were you, I'd browse through the Blushes & All Over Face Colors & check out the ingredients lists, looking for "Mica". Mica is generally what's used to make products sparkly. So if a product doesn't contain it, then it's probably what you're looking for. Or you may just have to visit one of their boutiques to find out which one's right for you. If that isn't possible, then you could most certainly contact Customer Service through email or by phone & ask them which formulations do not contain any shimmer, glitter, or sparkle. M'kaaay, hope this helps. Good luck, & Happy Shopping! =]

Help! I'd love to add just a little warmth to my face, as this product is designed to do. But it goes on too dark, so I look oddly dark on my face. I've tried putting it on with the fan brush, but then I don't see any additional color in my face at all.

Any tips and tricks in terms of applicator brush to apply it with and how to get the color just right?

(FYI -- I'm a warm "light" -- I use Fairly Light if I'm really pale, but usually I'm Golden Fair, or Light.)

Thanks!

I am very pale as well. My suggestion would be to be very careful to put only a very small amount of product in the lid and I use a blush style brush with tapered bristles. Then, start to where you can't see any color and build to what you're happy with. This may take some time but you'll avoid going straight to having makeup that's too dark.

A very little goes a long way. I close the lid dump the pot upside down then right side up. Tap the lid then open. This should leave a light dusting of warmth powder across the lid. swirl your brush in this then tap. then Lightly brush over face. If this is too light repeat to desired level of color. I also have found that the soft focus face brush also works better with the warmth. As an alternative, swipe your brush lightly across a dry wash cloth to remove some of the color from the brush before applying. FYI - I have been using Bare Minerals since the late 90's and only had 2 containers of warmth. My second is still going strong. That said I use warmth daily, so that shows you how little you need when you are fair.

I use an angled blush brush if I'm using it in a specific area or a flawless application face brush if I'm going more all-over. I imagine any of the brushes for sheer coverage would be good, too. It is really easy to get too much, though. With the brushes I use, I just barely touch the tips of some of the bristles to the warmth, and even then I sometimes tap some off. The trick is to just get a tiny bit. You can always add more. ;-)

Hope that helps!

I flip the warmth container over then tap the lid before opening it. When I open the lid, I only use the amount of warmth that's leftover on the lid, then apply that with the flawless face brush.

Hi Amy!

I have had this same problem with Warmth too. I'm very fair skinned; I wear "Fair" foundation. I use a BE angled brush, and I use only the dust in the lid, plus I tap THAT off. I find that it's just enough for my light skin tone. Try applying in the hollows of your cheeks (start near your ear and go down toward your mouth, NOT vice versa), under your chin, and make a "3" pattern on your face, starting at the forehead and ending along the jawline. You do have to be careful with Warmth because it can look orange and fake on really light skin. It'll keep forever since you use so little of it. It makes a nice eye shadow, too. I hope this helps!

I just sprinkle a little of the powder at a time onto the lid... then apply in layers little by little.. Or maybe try working it around the whole outside of your face and slowly go inward along your cheek bones.

If you get the warmth in kits they are small in the 29.99 kit and a medium in the 59.98, but when you just order the large they are same size i'm pretty sure maybe just due to the new containers i think they sad they put less because they expect you not to waste as much. something like that!
