Best Lip Balm Ever! Please DON'T discontinue BE! I had been searching and searching for a lip balm with Coconut Oil as the main ingredient and this is the 1st one I've found and I love it! With other petroleum based products I've used my lips constantly felt dry and I was ALWAYS reapplying. First Base lip balm is the ONLY one I've found that actually moisturizes my lips and doesn't need to constantly be reapplied 24-7. I put it on at night and my lips still feel great when I wake up (unlike every other product I've tried). I also have extremely sensitive skin and have had allergic reactions to many chapsticks but this one is different and safe for my extremely sensitive skin. I was in a BE store the other week and they said it was going to be discontinued, PLEASE DON'T! I'm hooked and now my mom, sister and friends love it too! 02/26/2012

If every other lip balm you've tried hasn't worked, I highly reccomend getting this. With other lip balms my lips still seem to crack and bleed but after the first day of using this I saw a difference. I've honestly never seen my lips this clean and smooth. I swear by this product. 01/22/2012

Lip-soothing I have very full lips that are chronically dry and chapped. I've actually experienced my lips bleeding within the cracks. I have tried so many balms and this one is the one. It glides on quickly and smoothly (thanks to the oval shape), isn't greasy but not flimsy either. It almost works like a primer for my lips when I apply it under lipstick. When applied on top of a lip tint, the result is a more comfortable wear that looks dewy and soft. 11/22/2011
The best lip balm i have ever used!!!! This is by far the best lip balm I have ever used! It does everything all my other store bought lip balms don't do. My lips are so soft and moisturized when i use this! I used this till it was gone and went back to my "other" lip balms and ended up hating them because they don't compare to the first base lip balm! This lip balm lasts forever! I don't have to reapply every 10 seconds like most lip balms. I put it on and it stays like a lip balm should. Its kinda expensive but its well worth it! Not a good lip balm at all I am sad to write this review because I do love my other BM products, but this lip balm is terrible. Good thing it was free, otherwise I'd be upset to throw it out. I actually used it a good while - maybe 3 months - so I did give it a fair try. But this balm does not moisturize at all. I give it 2 stars for providing some kind of waxy coating, so you THINK your lips are coated in moisture, but they're not. My lips have been constantly flaky since I started using it, but for some reason I didn't attribute it to the balm. I would reapply it, and exfoliate my lips most days, but nothing was helping. Finally I opened up a different lip balm yesterday, and after 3 uses of it, my lips aren't flaky anymore. I can only think it was this First Base Lip Balm that made my lips so gross. That being said, it hasn't ruined my experience with Bare Minerals stuff because like I said, I like my other products quite a bit. 09/13/2011
Why the Bad Reviews? I was surprised to see the ad reviews of this product. I tried it on as soon as it was shipped to me, and fell in love. It's long lasting and gives your lips a nice smooth feeling that you can't always guarantee with other ip chaps you buy in the store. It doesn't make your lips feels chalky and totally does not make them "white". The only default to this product is it's size. For the amount of money it cost, I was hoping for a slightly larger product. 07/18/2011
Best. Ever. This is hands-down the best lip balm/chapstick I have ever used. My skin is super sensitive and a lot of popular brands of lip balm have caused me to have super dry lips or an allergic reaction. First Base is wonderful...not only does it provide sun protection, but it soothes, protects, and moisturizes chapped lips. Also, it isn't addictive like many petroleum-based products. I apply it once after I brush my teeth in the morning and once before bed at night and I'm set. Please don't ever discontinue First Base, BE!!! 04/11/2011
Glad it was Free and not a waste of my money... I cannot believe I am giving my first bad review of BE, but I have to say I do not like this chapstick and glad it was a free gift. I would not pay no $8 for it either, regular chapstick does the same job and even better. It makes your lips look white, lol...
