  • Convert High Shine Eyecolor into an eyeliner. Dip the Eyeliner Brush into the High Shine component, then tap off the excess. Line the upper and/or lower lash line for a bright eyeliner effect.
  • Buff with the Crease Defining Brush or Blending Brush to diffuse any harsh edges of High Shine Eyecolor.
  • For ultimate staying power, apply a light layer of Prime Time Eyelid Primer before applying High Shine Eyecolor.

Love this eyeshadow! I agree with some of the other reviewers that this can be a bit tricky to apply. You only need a tiny bit to swipe on your lid. It goes on very smoothly, but you need to tap the excess off of the sponge tip before you apply. I have this shadow in 4 different colors. You need to be extra careful with the Vapor color as it is dark and if any of it flakes off the tip and gets on your face then it will smear when you try to wipe it off. I recommend using a tissue under your eye when applying. All in all this stuff is great. It's a time saver and blends easily with other shadows. I like to use a light colored shimmer color between the crease and brow line and then use the high-shine color on my lower lid. Then gently use the blending brush to get a nice blend in between. 02/06/2013
Honestly. This stuff is great, I think if you're not used to make up than this isn't the right thing for you. I use the copper one as the base for a lot of my daily looks and it's wonderful. The trick is to TAP off the access from your sponge tip and GENTLY swipe it once on your lid and blend with your fingers. If you take the sponge tip and just try to wipe it directly on your lid you will have a hot mess, and fall outs will be everywhere. Overall I really love this makeup, and I recommend it and I also recommend you be VERY careful with it too. 01/17/2013
best thing ever! I love this eye color so much!! the shade glisten is muted enough I can still war it to junior high without looking like I'm going to a party. I don't wear a primer and I have never had a problem with it smearing. you do have to be carful when you put it on make sure you don't get sparkles everywhere, but its still the best thing ever! 01/16/2013
Disappointing I don't wear much eye shadow, so when this came as a free bonus with one of my orders I was looking forward to trying it. The first time I tried to use the sponge applicator it comes with. YUCK. Went on way too thick and I was unable to blend it at all; washed my face it and took forever to come off, plus it smeared all over my face. A few weeks later I thought I'd give it another try, so I applied some Prime Time and then used a fan brush to apply it as an eye liner. Even though I barely got any color on the brush, it went on beautifully this go 'round.. only by the time I'd finished my mascara the eyeshadow was everywhere. I thought maybe I'd smudged it; carefully wiped around my eyes and out we went. Less than an hour later my husband was telling me to do something about it, and it takes a lot for him to tell me what to do with my makeup. It was everywhere. I don't touch my eyes- I have worn contact lenses for 20 years and learned early on to keep my fingers out of my eyes. So how the heck this got all over my face is beyond my understanding. I'm glad this was free, as I would have returned it had I paid for it! 01/14/2013
Purchased the color Vapor I was looking for a deep grey color and purchased Vapor because the description said gunmetal grey. This color is a bright metallic blue and no where near grey! Love the staying power and ease of application but I was looking for a true grey so I will be returning it. 01/14/2013
Must Have More I got this at a sample in my foundation auto delivery. I do not use an eye primer but I do apply my BE foundation to whole face including eyelids. I use the applicator to dot this shadow onto my lids. Then I use a separate make up brush to sweep it onto the entire lid. The applicator is wide and cannot get into corners. I usually use a bush to apply shadow. This shadow is definitely High Shine as named. I love it and wear it all day. It really makes my eyes stand out. It's a knock out when combined with the BE volumizing mascara. I have had no problems taking this product off. I wash my face at night with cleanser as usual and it all comes off. I have had no problems with it falling onto my face and smudging either. 01/12/2013
I wouldn't buy this product I recieved a free sample of this stuff, I have to say I would NEVER buy this product. I don't write reviews and I came on here just to let you know, this stuff gets EVERWHERE! Even if you are careful in application by the end of the day it'll be smudged all over your face. One day at work a co-worker asked "are you ok?what happened to your eye?" I went to the mirror, it looked like I had a black eye. This stuff not only smudges all over your face, it also will NOT come off without cold cream, so If you make a mistake with it you have to start your WHOLE face over! Save yourself the aggrivation. 12/28/2012
Love These, but has a learning Curve I love that these give you the look of the "Foiled" look without the mess of water and such. However, there is a bit of a learning curve. The packaging is great, but you really must make sure you wipe off any excess or it falls off the applicator and onto your face. I love the Moonshine color. I recently received Vapor. I love the grey/blue color. However, if it falls underneath my eyes and smudges, it looks like I got punched in the eye. So I have to be very careful with the application. The final result though is SEXY, SEXY, SEXY!! =D 11/26/2012
Amazing!!!!!! I have 3 of the high shine eye colors. I love all 3! I have meteorite, moonshine and goldmedal. I use goldmedal to tone down some darker eyeshadows that I have; it gives such a nice golden shimmer as well!! Meteorite is a gorgeous color-yes it is on the darker side but I use a shadow brush to tone down the color. I use moonshine to bring out the different colors in my hazel eyes; it is a beautiful color!! All 3 mix together very well! They are so easy to use..perfect to throw in your purse for touch-ups! I can't wait to get the 2 other colors that I ordered!!! 11/24/2012
Holly Pigment If you are looking for a smoke effect get the Vapor. If you are looking for more of a day time look stick with a super light color. My make up delivered arrived and as always I could not wait to try it on so I went into the bathroom to apply vapor and then spent the next 15 mins scrubbing it off my eyes. Good news it has staying power. 11/19/2012
