Q & A

Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Concealer - null 3.9 5 59 59
No "fair" or even "light" available now I last used this several years ago and the lightest shade sold ( sadly, I don't recall the name ) was perfect for me. While I have very dark red-brown hair I have the palest skin, porcelain is the term I usually hear, and not a freckle in sight. When returning here to purchase the concealer I was troubled by both the name, "Bisque" and the photo. It seemed *so* dark, but as it was the only color recommended I decided it was my faulty memory and/or my faulty screen. Not the case; I ordered 3 jars and they will be on the way back. I did try it, but even the lightest application had me looking like an orange-ish clown. With a dirty face. And too much make-up :( I'm once again on the hunt for a different brand with a shade for truly pale people. LOREAL made one I like called True Match Naturale, in 2 light shades, but I can no longer find theirs, either. I've always used just a bit of concealer and a light brushing of Mineral Veil which worked wonderfully, even at my age (64), so perhaps before I return all 3 jars I'll try mixing something and see if I can make this usable. 12/16/2014
Pretty good concealer This concealer goes a long way, covers well, feels silky and is non-irritating. I use the "Bisque" shade and am a "Medium" on my foundation shade. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have used something I like better: the Correcting Concealer by Bare Minerals. I know that some people apply concealer after foundation too, but I don't want to do it twice. It seems as though a bit gets brushed away when applying your foundation, but I don't have that problem with the Correcting Concealer. Overall, it is still far better than any other brands I've ever tried. 12/09/2014
Wonderful! I have dark circles and dry under eyes and have been using the correcting concealer, but throughout the day the concealer would settle into my fine lines and look really bad by the time I got home. Embarrassingly bad. I didn't think I would find anything that wouldn't settle into my lines and not irritate my under eye skin until I found this! A little goes a long way and it stays on all day! Highly recommend for under eyes! 08/29/2014
Works well but colors are limited Please make this in a lighter color, as others have said! I like how this product covers and blends but unfortunately there isn't a shade light enough for me. I need a light cool tone and I have no problem finding that in the Bare Minerals foundations which I have worn for years and love, so I don't understand why they don't make this concealer in matching tones, including lighter tones. I tried the creamy concealer (Correcting Concealer) in Light 1 and while that was a little better color-wise than the lightest color in this product (which is Bisque), I couldn't wear it under my eyes because it turned into numerous fine lines/creases within an hour or two. 08/24/2014
LOVE I've been using bisque for maybe 8 years +? and I have yet to find anything that covers as well and as light as the Bare Minerals bisque. I even remember when this was just a late night infomercial product. My skin doesn't get greasy afterwards like it does with other products. It covers for hours and leaves my skin feeling soft. I don't EVER break out when I am wearing this. I only wish it were bigger because I apply this to my whole face and run out so very easily! The Bare Minerals foundation just doesn't cut it with coverage. I recently found out I had rosacea and this is a+++. 08/07/2014
Doubles as a Foundation I loved this product, but the color has changed. It used to match my skin tone exactly. now it's too dark and too pink. It worked for me because I have a number of spider vein clusters on my face, and this concealer covered them well as it matched my skin tone very well. I hope BE puts it back the way it was, I would be very happy 04/16/2014
Love it! Doubles as foundation I have been using Bisque for years now. I have very light skin with pink undertones but I have red blotches, freckles and a few scars. The Bisque works great at covering imperfections and I now use it as my foundation. It is lightweight and feels great. Plus the container is smaller and fits nicely in my makeup bag! 04/07/2014
OK product I bought this in Bisque after trying and loving the Original Foundation. I find that it does not blend well with the fair foundation. It seems much darker than the fair tone and it is quite noticable. I think it covers well, but I find using the foundation over blemishes works just the same if not better. I don't think it was worth the money and I will not repurchase again. 04/05/2014
Broad Spectrum Concealaer I use the Summer Bisque AFTER I put on the Matte Foundation in Medium Beige. It works wonderfully to cover all my "trouble spots." Next, I lightly blend it with the foundation brush (still with some remaining foundation on it). To finish, I use the Original Mineral Veil with SPF all over to set my makeup. 03/29/2014
I love this product Bisque is the most wonderful concealer I have ever used! I cannot do without it and there is no way I would ever go back to the liquid or cream makeup and concealer after using Bare Minerals. I have used this product for about 13-14 years. 03/11/2014

It doesn't matter. Well rested is designed to help erase fine lines and dark circles regardless of your foundation color. :)

I love summer bisque! In fact, I use it as foundation. I have freckles and thin red skin (from RA meds) so it covers it all!

I have the stroke of light eye brightener, the original foundation, and the cream concealer. In what order should I apply the concealers with this concealer, and where specifically should I apply this concealer (I have under eye circles, under eye wrinkles, and a few blemishes, and acne scars

I personally apply the correcting concealer, the stroke of light eye brightener, then my foundation last. I put the correcting concealer all over my fave where I need. I use it to cover acne, acne scars, redness, and under my eyes. I love the concealer - I think it's one of the best products BE makes.

I am not sure if there is an exact order that you need to apply these, but I can make a recommendation:

First, apply the Stroke of Light eye brightener, followed by the Corrective (cream) Concealer, Foundation, and finally the Powder Concealer.

I would try using the powder concealer under the eyes before you know if it works or not; I also have dark under eye circles and under eye wrinkles, and sometimes the powder concealer alone can make the wrinkles more pronounced, and instead of concealing it only draws attention to them. However, I have found that if I use the powder concealer AFTER the cream concealer, it does an excellent job of blending and concealing. The powder concealer works fantastically on blemishes and scars, in my experience.

Hope this helps!

I also use the foundation in Light and I use the concealer in Bisque. It's flawless. Summer Bisque is ever so slightly darker if you need a hair darker. But this works for me.

I break out very easily & this product does NOT make me break out. I use the "Maximum Coverage Face Brush" for the best coverage too (not only for concealer, but also when applying my makeup to cover blemishes!)
