Quick Change Brush Cleaner 4.2 5 16 16
Works Like It Says It Does This works like it says it does. It's perfect to lengthen the time in between brush shampoos. It does have strong perfume to it, but that does not cling to the brushes. I wish it didn't have a scent though. I feel that people with allergies would not be able to use this product. But it cleanses the brushes amazingly! =D 10/07/2013
Fragrance I ordered this and found that there is just too much fragrance in it. I don't want anything with fragrance anywhere near my eyes! It should be offered without the fragrance, or taken out completely. 11/30/2012
Too busy to shampoo your brushes? Try this! Absolutely love this brush cleaner. A time-saver and wonderful if you're too busy to keep up with shampooing brushes on a regular basis. Also makes makeup application easier and colors more true to their original tones. Before giving this product a try, I would just swipe the same brushes into the next blush, eyeshadow color, etc. Who knows how many layers of color were actually blended on, not to mention it became problematic when going from a glitter color to a matte. This product is the solution. Just spray a little onto a paper towel, wipe your brush back and forth across it until the color quits appearing on the towel, let the brush dry for 20-30 seconds, then you're ready for your next color. (This can tingle on sensitive eyes, so I'd recommend letting the brush dry even longer and more completely for those with delicate skin.) That simple and easy. Don't know how I managed without this before and now my makeup colors go on more accurately since there aren't old layers of color lurking underneath. This product deserves five stars and more. Definitely one of my favorite BE products out there and a must-have in my makeup bag. 09/24/2012
Great Product I use this product every time I do my makeup. I don't switch colors often because I own so many brushes but I do use it to clean them between conditioning treatments. This is also a must for my collection. All you have to do it spray into a paper towel and wipe your brushes clean. 05/03/2012
ABSOLUTELY DIVINE This product smells soooooooooooo good I wish they made a perfume of the smell =P I bought this in 07 and I still have some!!! I hope they didn't change the formula or smell and if they did change the formula, I hope it's even better...will repurchase more when I'm completely out. 04/26/2012
Easy to Use I bought this because I don't have that many brushes and I wanted to be able to keep my colors separate. I like it a lot. I think it does a great job of pulling all of the colors out of the brush. It doesn't dry as fast as I would have liked it to, but I normally use only one or two colors during the day so I just clean them when I'm done and they're ready for next time. Must easier than shampooing them every day! 04/21/2012
First Impression Today was my first day using this product. My first reaction was "I'm not loving the smell" It doesn't smell horrible, but personally i'm not fond of it, and your brush continues to smell like the spray after it has dried. I bought this mainly for my eye shadow application, I have the Precision brush that I use for my eyes and I like to use two to three colors. I applied the first color and then cleaned the brush, but when I went to apply the second color it still seemed that my brush was wet. I'm not sure if its just because its such a small tightly bristled brush or if I used to much of the product. Overall so far I give it three stars because it does remove the color between applications but i'm not crazy about the smell or the fact that my brush remained damp. Maybe I should just buy a separate brush for every color I have! HAHAHA.... my husband would die. :) 03/26/2012
The best thing ever for your brushes! Before I used this cleaner I would either clean my brushes on a dry piece of tissue or not clean them at all making multiple color shadow combos difficult to say the least. Then one day I was at a Bare Essentials store and I asked my favorite sales guy what I could use to clean my brushes that wouldn't leave them wet all day.. you know for eyeshadow color changes etc. He told me about this product and showed me how to use it. The first time I used it I was hooked! I use it to clean my brush before I put on my foundation everyday. I also use it for cleaning my eyeshadow brushes in between color changes. As an added bonus it smells awesome... I think the scent would be a fabulous perfume! :o) 03/25/2012
Meh... I thought I would love this product, but I really don't. It seems to leave an oily residue on my brushes, making it impossible to use it for changing colors. I do however use it when I am DONE applying my makeup to keep them clean and conditioned between washings (which I do once a week). For on the spot color changes I find it easier to used use my fingertips to flick the color off the bristles. 02/23/2012
Great for eyeshadow I use this product most often when I'm doing a layered look in eyeshadow using multiple shades and colors, such as green/gold or green/purple. Colors should be defined and blended, not smudged and mixed. This product ensures the first color is completely off your brush before you start with the next. It works wonderfully and dries fast. Highly recommend it to anyone who uses more than one color eyeshadow at a time! 01/05/2012

I like to use the flawless face brush for my foundation, warmth and veil, but sometimes there's still warmth on the brush when I go to use the veil and then I end up with warmth all over my face. I've been using less warmth and that seems to help a little but I then I don't get the desired amount of warmth applied.

Yes you can use this for your foundation brushes. Here is my makeup routine and what brushes I use for what. It may help you out:

1. Primer
2. Concealer - READY or the powder. I use the maximum concealer brush
3. Foundation - handy buki or retractable brush (pink) for powder and precision angled brush for the READY foundation
4. All Over Face Color - I usually use Warmth and recently tried Pure Radiance (a dewy shimmery color) and I use the Flawless Face brush for my All Over Face Color.
5. Stroke of Light Eye Brightener - Tap 3 little dots under each eye and tap/roll into the skin. Nice for making the eyes pop better.
6. Luminizer - You can use this or the Stroke of light....I use the brush mine came with (also from qvc). If you get one and it don't come with a brush, I would use a Tapered Blush Brush which is a good size for the small areas you will accent with the Luminizer or I would use a Flawless Face Brush or a Soft Focus Face brush to apply this.
7. Blush - READY and I use the really soft brush that came with it from QVC or I use the little brush it comes with
8. Eyeshadow - READY and I use the double ended precision brush, wet/dry eyeshadow brush, soft focus eyeshadow brush or the double ended soft focus brush (one side is soft focus and the other end is a soft focus angled eyeshadow brush).
9. Mascara - big and bright mascara, flawless definition or brushless mascara
10. Lip gloss - 100% Natural Lip gloss or Moxie. Pretty amazing is okay or the Jack of All Trades balms (check online about jack of all trades balms. It's not on QVC anymore).
11. Mineral Veil - Original Powder or the READY; I would use the Soft Focus Face brush or the Buff'n'Go retractable brush to apply this.

Hope this helps.

You can absolutely use this for you foundation brushes in the same way you would use it for overshadow brushes. Lightly spritz the product onto a tissue and sweep your foundation brush over the dampened area. Repeat until no color is left behind on the tissue.

Does this or any of you brush cleaner products disinfect the brushes? If not do you suggest a way to clean them?

Witch-hazel is usually a good astringent for the face and also for cleaning things. But you can use a shampoo that doesn't lather. shampoos that lather tend to strip hair so you want to use shampoos on your brushes that are good for your hair and perhaps will give your brushes the same result.

With alcohol as one of the main ingredients, I am pretty certain it must be considered antibacterial. :)
