Prime Time Eyelid Primer
Best primer out there
I have used BE products for 5 years total, and the eyelid primer for 2 years. I tried using their eyeshadows without the primer and was disappointed with it. It just won't stay on without the primer. But just a little primer will keep it on all day, without caking up in the eyelid creases or fading. I've even used it with other eyeshadows and it works very well. I've tried other eye primers and none have been as effective. It just really works.
Why didn't I try this sooner? Normally at the end of the day my eyelids are shiny, what little eyeshadow left is a dark clump in my crease and my eye liner is smudged (not by choice). Just used this for the first time yesterday and oh what a difference. After an 8-hour workday followed by two hours playing beach volleyball, my eye makeup looked like I had just applied it. This primer is magical! Best purchase EVER!
Can't live without !
This is by far the best eyelid primer out there and worth every penny. I stick to the original or brightening but it has made a huge difference in my eye makeup look. My eyeshadow looks just as great at 7pm as it did at 7pm without creasing or fading. It really keeps the sensitive skin on your eyelids in great shape too! A must buy!
Prime Time Eyelid Primer
I'm pretty new to BareEssentials makeup but loving it. I bought some eyecolor and did notice that when I used eyeliner with it, it faded over about 6 hours. But then I used the primer and there was absolutely no fading what so ever. My eye makeup stayed put for 12+ hours. I do believe that it is a but expensive for the size, but you don't need that much of it to make it work. I'm looking forward to using this when school starts back up and not having to touch up!
This stuff is amazing. It makes the eye shadows and eye liner powders so much brighter. I also use it with my well-rested eye brightener and with concealer. It makes quite a bit of a difference. My eye liner does not run under my eyes and my eye shadow and eye liner on the top of my eyelid don't get mixed up anymore!
A must for eyeshadow
This product works wonders for eyeshadow. I cannot use eyeshadow without it . It brings out the color and the colors do not crease over time and I have put it through many tests.
Love this primer
For months, I had been using an eyelid primer from another company and my eyeshadow would always sit in my creases by mid-day. Everyday I would have to reapply my eyeshadow during my lunch break and even in the evening when I'd get home from work. After using Prime Time Eyelid Primer for the past couple of days, I haven't had to reapply any eyeshadow! If you have issues with your eyeshadow getting stuck in your creases, I highly recommend this primer...it will do what it's supposed to do and will last all day long.
Eye Shadow Staying Power
I bought the BE Prime Time Eyelid Primer about a month ago to try it out. In the past, I've used an eye primer by another cosmetics brand (M**) but didn't notice any difference - my eye shadow would fade towards the end of the work day. And so, I didn't use eye primer after that thinking that it was just a waste of my money. With the suggestion of a sales associate at a local BE boutique store, I decided to try their product and I noticed that my eye shadow still looked fresh at the end of the day....AMAZING!!!
Different than I thought
I was excited when I bought this product home, but I would be lying if I said I loved it. It does have a nice texture and blends out really nicely, which is a good thing. The problem for me was that it made little red bumps on my eyelids, which is not good and maybe just my skin, but still bad. Also, for the amount of product that you pay for, I don't think $18 dollars is worth it to buy this product; maybe if it was bigger.
Oily eyelids? Try this!
Another BE product that I won't be able to live without! My eyeshadow stays on all day now. I mean it, ALL DAY. My oily eyelids have met their match. Whatever small amount of creasing does happen (I'll be honest, there still is a little by the end of the day), does not completely remove the shadow from my eyelids. And I'm going to try the concealer tip another reviewer gave. What a great idea, thank you for sharing!
