Well-Rested Face and Eye Brightener 3.6 5 62 62
Nice and bright! Well hello there you amazing product. I am so pleased with Well-Rested Face and Eye Brightener. I am a flight attendant and am always looking for great products to help me look fresh and fabulous when I'm feeling not so fresh and fabulous. This does it. I've found that other brightening products I've tried looked caked on around my eye area. But this products is a light formula that brightens and doesn't settle into any creases or wrinkles around the eye area, which I love! I usually apply this around my eyes after I apply my foundation. I apply one swipe under my eye and up towards my brow and then blend it in by patting my eye area (just how you would apply eye cream). Then I apply my mineral veil and am ready to go. I really love this product. It is easy to use, light, subtle and you can take it anywhere. 10/04/2012
Try this... I recently tried the Stroke of Light concealer by itself and was satisfied, but not dependent on it. Then, the gods sent Ashely from the Polaris store to tell me about the new Well Rested pen. I had tried the mineral Well Rested when it first came out, but it didn't conceal my dark circles at all, so I gave up on it. Ashley told me to alternate three dots of Stroke of Light with two dots of Well Rested and pat to blend. The difference is like nothing I've seen--bright, lively, practically irridescent. Either alone may not do it for you, but together, there is no way they can disappoint. 09/26/2012
Brighterner Bummer The control and dispensing needs improving. It takes a while for the product to work it's way up the bristles. So waiting is a draw back. Also, it's hard to determine how much you'll get. Either too little or too much once it starts to flow. But once the Well-Rested Face and Eye Brightener is out, it's great! Love the way the light reflects off it and give a bright dewy look to the eyes, nose, lip & cheek area. 09/24/2012
This doesn't compare to the original Well Rested! The product irritates my eyes which have been watering all day from it even though I tried eye drops to stop it. Also turning the pen bottom either produces none to too much of the product which is very gooey. The coverage is also nonexistent and extremely shiny. I prefer a matte finish as I have very oily skin. Up until now I have loved all of the BE products I have bought over the years, since 2005, and used with great success. This one is an exception. 09/11/2012
You have to give it a chance! When I first bought this product I was super excited -- the content was more than the other eye concealer (which is mainly why I bought it) -- but was super irritated at first when I tried to use it and nothing was coming out of the brush! But you have to give it a chance to work itself up the "tube" or container, and then it only takes 2 or 3 clicks for the product to come out. I LOVE the way its super light and thin -- not thick and unnaturally layered the way some concealers look under the eyes. I wake up at 5am every morning for work, and if it can get rid of the bags under MY eyes, then it can definitely work for you! Although I think buying the right shade is super important with this product, so be aware! 09/11/2012
Well rested works for me! I purchased this product based on a suggest from a BE Boutique employee. I have slight dark circles and little bags below my eyes that no amount of sleep seems to cure completely. I can't compare it to the original powder, since I never used it, but this product is wonderful. It doesn't get full coverage, but it gets enough coverage for me to look much more natural and rested. The the twist up/brush applicator makes it very easy to apply then blend out with my finger. Thanks BE! 08/31/2012
Not doing what they said it would I wanted to like this product...but as it was said, does more brightening than covering. Also seems to accentuate wrinkles rather than decreasing the look. I'm disappointed but will play around a little longer. If I change my mind I''ll be back to update! 08/16/2012
Disappointed at first, glad I gave it a 2nd chance I am a HUGE fan of the WR loose powder, so I was excited to purchase this early as a FAB member. But when I received it I was taken aback when my first application came out thick and gloppy. I felt like I was applying correction fluid over my under-eye circles. I think that 5 clicks to prime the applicator brush may have been the problem, pushing too much product into the brush. Personally, I think 3 clicks would have been sufficient for priming the brush. I'm glad I gave it another chance. Now that the brush is primed, I only need one click to conceal my flaws and accentuate my best features in one sitting making this another economical product. I also think this works better than the WR loose powder because of its seemless blendibility when applying to areas that are adjacent to other colored BE products, like brow bone after applying BE eye shadow. It's compact which makes it perfect for smaller purses, or while traveling. No more toting my WR loose powder container and a separate brush, and it does an equally great job as the loose powder in all of the areas I've needed coverage or accentuating. If you had the same experience I did when using this product for the first application, give it a 2nd chance or play around with it by priming the pen with the fewest clicks you need to get the desired amount you want. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this new product and soooo glad I played around with it despite my first reaction. Fabulous product, would recommend to everyone, and will absolutely purchase this again. Great job, BE, on another amazing product !!! I'm so impressed with every BE purchase I've made, and wouldn't consider going back to my old drug store make-up. Keep this up and I'll be a loyal, lifelong customer! 08/08/2012
It's a good start... I definitely think this product has great potential. I, too, have dark purple under-eye coloring that requires Michaelangelo skills to cover up. Unfortunately, this is a genetic condition that no amount of sleep seems to remedy. Since I was 15, I've dabbled in every kind of under-eye concealer out there. Once I figured out how well the original well rested worked, I perfected its application and chalked the rest up to something I would just have to deal with. When this new product came out, I FLIPPED. I was also expecting the same great results I get with the Well-Rested powder. I still get great results but that is by using this product IN CONJUCTION WITH the original power. Here's what I've found: 1.The color of the liquid form is not thick enough to cover up the discoloration. Simply put, the color is too sheer to do much concealing. 2. The light reflecting properties in the pen work better to brighten the eyes than the original well-rested powder. You can see this once applied and blended by moving your head up and down in the bathroom mirror (yes, it looks silly :)). The powder does more of the concealing duties. 3. The convenience of twist and apply is just awesome. What I have found to work best for me is to use the pen and powder together. I apply my BE foundation first and let that do some of the concealing. Then I apply a thin layer of the brightening pen in the inner corners and darkest points of my eyes, using my middle finger to "pat and blend" outward towards the outer corners (where the dark circles aren't as dark). I let that dry for a few minutes, then go back to those darkest points with the Well Rested Powder, and fast and flawless blending brush, and apply in the same pattern as the liquid stuff. In 5 minutes, I'm done. The WR powder just finishes off where the liquid left off, which is in concealing the dark purple coloring. I use a fraction of the powder that I used to AND I save a lot of time. I'm not sure if that is how the Well-Rested Face and Eye Brightener pen was intended to work or if the pen is mostly designed for the dark circles of lack of sleep (as opposed to the genetic kind). Either way, I will be purchasing in the future! 07/30/2012
I have always had problems with those purple/black bags under my eyes. When I found this Well Rested pen I was super excited. It covers those bags under my eyes with ease, and adds this brightness under my eyes that make my eyes pop. I love this pen, and will continue purchasing it. I know a comment below mentions that it doesn't cover like the powder, I have not used the powder, so I can't say. But in my opinion this pen covers just fine. (I have fair skin) 07/18/2012
