Love it...I think I got this (and the face wash) thinking they would be really good. I only wear BE make up, so I wanted to use the cleaning/lotion products too. I love how it smells - it is different at first, but I got used to it and now I really like it. It is not too oily and does not sit on top of my skin. My only worry is that my face has started breaking out more than it ever has. I am not sure if it is because of the new products. I just started a new job and I work in a number of different temperatures during the day and my face feels more oily than before the job. I am not sure if the constant change in temperature is causing my breakouts or the new products. Hopefully, it is the new work environment because other than that, I really like this lotion. 10/02/2011
nice summer time moisturizer This is a nice moisturizer, and thankfully it does NOT have avocado in it (I'm allergic). I've been using it for a week now. It hasn't caused any break outs and my skin feels smooth and well moisturized. There have been some complaints about an odor with this product, but all I noticed was a hint of olive oil and lavender. My biggest concern with this product is that I doubt it can handle harsh northern winters that really dry out my skin. However it should work fine the rest of the year. 09/05/2011
works for me I liked the combination/oily formula, but I always ended up using double the amount and my skin still felt dry towards the end of the work day. When I got home I was running for my bathroom faucet and Clarisonic. I thought the dry skin formula would have been too much for me so I tried this one. I have been using it for a couple of days and so far so good. Yes, it has a funny smell. I asked the rep in the BE store and she said it was because it had Lavender oil in it. Once absorbed it goes away and there is no greasy feel or look on my face. I like it and I think I will purchase again when I run out. I am really loving this new line of skincare. Perfect Balance I recently received a sample of the Purely Nourishing Moisturizer for Normal to Dry skin in the Bare Escentuals store, used it for two days then went back and bought the full size product. I am in love with this moisturizer! I have had dry skin my whole life and have tried numerous drug store as well as high end products. They are either to rich (in texture) or not rich enough. This moisturizer gives me the perfect amount of moisture without making my sking feel like an oil slick!! 09/03/2011
Bring back the old formula I bought this because I ran out of my moisturizer, I was told only the packaging changed with this; so not true! The formula is totally different and the smell is like old dirty socks. I returned and will stick with another brand until I hear that they have fixed this. Gross, why change a good thing? 08/28/2011
Love it! This moisturizer is perfect for my dry and sensitive skin. It gives it a healthy grow, moisturizing deeply (and the moisture is long lasting!), and smooths my skin. Will recommend this product to anyone who wants something gentle but completely moisturizing. 08/26/2011
Not happy I love Bare Minerals makeup and eye shadow. But, this moisturizer has a really weird odor. So I am using Olay anti-wrinkle/mature skin enriching UV lotion and Olay anti-wrinkle /mature skin firming night cream. They work great and have a pleasant smell. 08/25/2011
Love it! I received this product as a sample with an order, and the first time I used it I was hooked. I love the natural spa-like smell and the silky feel of my skin after it is applied. I have used a high-end cream for the last 8 years but this one, by far out performs it. My skin instantly felt firmer yet silky soft and my daughter asked me if I had switched creams or something because she noticed how smooth my skin looked. If I had results like that in one application I look forward to what it can do with repeated use. I was able to squeeze out 3 days use from the little packet, so obviously you don't need a lot to see results. I can't wait for my order to arrive! 08/09/2011
Want the old moisturizer back! Compared to their old moisturizer, this product is horrible. This lotion is thinner than the old stuff. The box says it has no fragrances added and I usually don't mind them but the scent of this is terrible. It is so strong that it is almost too overwhelming to use.
