Get a color match! I ordered this online according to my regular color choice in original. Big mistake! I normally use fairly light, but had to go to medium beige in this formulation. I never would have thought I should/could go that dark, but the color I ordered would have looked terrible. I liked what I saw when I switched. Still waiting on shipment to exchange for correct color. Go darker (like light to medium) and know your undertones if ordering online. 02/10/2013
Only foundation I'll ever use again I have used BE for years, but have bounced back and forth with other foundations because I felt I needed liquid foundation for better coverage--which usually just made me break out worse. I went in to BE right before coming back to school and thought I would give the new foundation a try. I was matched for color in the foundation, veil, blush, and bronzer. I got all 4. I was absolutely amazed with how flawless my face looked. I bought the new brush as well and when I came back to school my friends kept complimenting how great my skin looked. I am absolutely in love with this product and don't think I will ever change again! 02/09/2013
Confindence in a Compact The sales associate tested my skin and when she realized it was on the dryer side she recommended I try this foundation. She matched it to my skin (2 shades darker than what I had been using in the previous Bare Mineral foundation) and I was amazed at the difference. This make up made my skin look flawless. It covered my sun damage and made my skin glow. The next day at work I had several comments asking what I'd done differently. I felt like a new woman. I've used Bare Minerals for ten years and loved it. I'm so glad they brought another product to make me feel like a million dollars. 02/04/2013
Nothing like the original The convenience of the compact is great but for me this foundation makes my face look very dry. I went into a boutique for a color match and they thought I should go with the same color I wear in the original (medium beige). Once I got it home and put it all over my face I really didn't like the color at all. It's hard to explain. It made my eyelids and under my eyes look bluish. Very strange. Too bad I was hoping I would love it 02/03/2013
Wanted to love and I do but.... This product will clog your pores and may you BREAKOUT!! I have sensitive skin, which is the main reason I started using Bare Minerals. I needed new foundation about a month ago and decided to try READY. I wish I would have stuck with the Traditional that I have used for years. About 2 weeks after starting READY...I had the WORST breakout of my life. Had to be the foundation because nothing else in my skin care regiment had changed. I loved the coverage and the look of the foundation, just not the subsequent breakout. I am going back to the tried and true traditional and never straying again! 02/03/2013
Wonderful stuff! When I found out about the READY Foundation I was curious. I went and purchased some (after getting shade matched of course) and absolutely fell in love!! I know I've heard that you usually have to get a shade or two darker than your loose powder one but in fact I went a shade lighter than my loose powder. It is amazing stuff!! Quicker to use and less mess. Awesome!! 02/02/2013
I love READY I've worn BE for years. People didn't think I wore makeup. I wasn't exactly happy about that, even though, I love the natural look. I felt like I spend good money for these products and it needs to look like I have on foundation. LOL. I bought READY as soon as it hit the store. It is easier to put on and doesn't have the mess. I tried using my kabuki brush with it and I didn't like the look. I bought the precision brush ... it makes all the difference. My morning regiment was taking too long and this minimized it greatly. I see the look on people that I don't know face ... some will pay me a great compliment and some just have this WOW look. I tried not to use the veil compact but, it looks much better with it. You do have to be careful not to get too much of the Ready or the veil on. Too much is just that ... too much. The color variation for me was from the original of med tan to golden deep in Ready. If you are going to use Ready ... get the right brushes! 01/31/2013
Wow! I checked in at the Bare Minerals Boutique for the color matching and was quickly set-up with the right color and the wonderful gift of seeing my complexion looking incredible. I've used BE for 7 years but at 62 have noticed I need more pop and glow. Figured it was time to try the newer foundations. I have some sun damage and natural aging issues but with this foundation I don't need to use as much nor do I need to use Bisque for concealing. Did I say Wow? Awesome and unbelieveable might be more accurate. Thanks BE!!! 01/31/2013
give it another chance - i did! ok so i was one of those people that bought this and returned it not once but twice yikes! i originally bought the light because that is what i used in the loose but whoa it was way too yellow for me in the solid. then i bought it again and returned it saying i don't know people can use this stuff but after watching the video that Leslie posted and going to the store to get the correct color and the correct brushes and primer i have finally fallen in love with this foundation! it is so easy to use and it looks amazing! so maybe if you are like me and have bought it and returned it, you can give it another chance too! i used the light in loose and i now buy the med beige in solid 01/30/2013
Pretty good! I bought this product from the store.it was nice they helped me select the perfect shade for my complexion.the coverage merged my face so well,I was happy it didn't leave any layer over layer on my face. Loved it! 01/29/2013
