Don't get this eyelid primer unless..........
Okay so I am a recent convert to bare minerals and I must say I've Had my eyes on bare minerals since my early teen years the first time I saw an infomercial. As I grew older I never could find that foundation that was just perfect. Finally this year I bought myself a starter kit for my 22nd birthday and loved it immediately! My only complaint, my skin is on the dry side so sometimes the powder doesn't always feel 100 percent smooth after it's been applied, but it looks heavenly and my husband thinks it makes me look even more gorgeous ;-)
I have a few issues with this eyelid primer though. 1st off this pearl eyelid primer leans more towards the cool end of the color spectrum which doesn't go as well with my light Neutral-Warm complexion as I thought it would. If you have Cool skin, this color will look heavenly on you, but is you have a warm complexion I don't recommend this product at all. As for my fellow neutral girls, you may or may not want to get it depending on what clothing/ make up colors you like to wear on a regular basis.
2nd of all, the blending process is tricky so if you don't have the patience to try to figure out how to spread the product properly, then don't bother because all it will do is slow down your morning beauty regiment and give you a headache before you even have your 1st cup of coffee. The reason I have problems with the primer is because I have dry skin so the product dries extremely quickly on my skin. If you have combination to oily skin you may have better luck than I did.
Lastly, the shimmer is beautiful, but it clings to your skin like a virus. The first couple of times I applied this primer, my fingers got bathed in glitter. If nothing else, that is a testament to the incredible staying power of the makeup, but unless you are going out for a night on the town with your girlfriend's, I doubt that you are gonna want that glitter all over your hands. It takes FOREVER to scrub out! I literally washed it twice with an exfoliating hand soap, and I didn't even get most of it out until I washed it a third time!!
Over all the product is adequate and once you finally spread it, it attracts eyeshadow like a magnet including the loose powder shadow and it can be worn with other quality eyeshadows that are from other brands. It is extremely Durable. I'm not gonna lie, this primer definitely has it's undeniable benefits, but for me personally there aren't quite enough so I will probably be taking it back this upcoming week.

Great when you get it to stay on
I try not to squeeze too much out as there isn't all that much in the tube because with the original kind "a little bit goes a long way" but most of the color tends to stay on your fingers. The rep says you can apply with a brush but I don't really want to. Hopefully the eyeshadow primer works better because I bought the 5 or 6 color holiday set. I also like the old container better.

Pearl Eye Shadow Primer
Found this product suggested in a women's magazine for those days that you need eye brightening, but don't necessarily want to wear full eye shadow. It does brighten the eye area a good bit, helping cover the dark, dull areas that my aging eye lids are developing. Like to wear it every day whether I put on full makeup or not.

Useful both on lids and on dark circles
A lot of reviewers are saying that this product is hard to blend, but I find it easier to use than the original primer. Try patting it on the lids, not rubbing. I did not find the sparkle to be overwhelming, probably because I have very fair skin. My eyeshadow color was not brightened or altered by the primer. On my undereyes, I use this primer as a base for Well-rested and it looks perfect on me. This product is a dream come true and has completely changed the look of my eyes (in a very good way!). I would recommend it to anyone with fair skin, particularly if you find the Well-rested to be a little bit too yellowish or gold for your skin.

I love this primer! The skin around my eyes tends to get darker as the day goes on and this primer combats that! I was using the original eyelid primer with cultured pearl eyeshadow to keep my lids from darkening, but this makes it so much easier, just one step. A little does go a long way though. After I blend it on my lids I use the leftover shimmer on my finger and run it under my eyes to help keep my mascara from smudging. Works Great!

I love this primer. It has a little glimmer so you can wear it alone or under your shadows.
I am looking forward to trying the other eye primer products. It is great if you are in a hurry and don't have time to apply your full eye make-up routine. Sometimes I wear alone and then use a bit a mascara to finish up the look.

Good primer, good to brighten up eye area
I think this is a bit too sparkly as an everyday primer though it looks good as a quick eyecolor in a pinch. It does change the look of many of your eyecolors and it does work well as a primer but I don't like it for an everyday primer. It would work well to vamp up your eyecolors for a night out though.

Who knew?!
I love B.E. products, especially the variety of eyeshadow colors. The problem was, because of the way my eyelids are, the color would just cake into the crease. One of the workers a B.E. suggested I try this primer. I was skeptical, but figured I'd give it a try. It works absolutely fantastic! I'm usually reapplying makeup at some point during the workday, but with this, I don't. It even looks great by itself. I'd definitely recommend it.

Bright and shiny
I like the original eyelid primer and use it everyday, but this one is quite cool too, if you want some extra glimmer. Make sure to use just a bit. It gets the job done.
