Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner - null
Close, but not quite
The color is amazing and it stayed on without smudging. This is the first eyeliner that I've really loved until I had to sharpen it. I even tried to put it in the freezer, but it's just too soft and the tip keeps breaking. I can't even come close to getting a good point. Hopefully this will be improved making it a perfect product.
This product won't let you down!
As a fitness instructor I can tell you first hand that this eyeliner will not budge. I can teach class after class and it does not smear or run. It's wonderful! I purchased 11am, 5pm, and 7pm.
I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's not easy to sharpen with a makeup sharpener. I like my eyeliner to be a little more defined (thinner tip) and this eyeliner is too bulky. I realize this is the first batch of waterproof eyeliner and I know BE will get all of the quarks squared away.
A few suggestions to BE:
1. make the pencil a little thinner
2. add a sharpener to the cap of the eyeliner so that you always have a sharpener on hand
3. add a removable sharpener to the end of the eyeliner applicator. Instead of the smudge sponge as with the old eyeliners, it will now be a sharpener.
4. change the packing all together (plastic perhaps) and make this eyeliner self sharpening
5. make a sharpener for these products that are available for sale
absolutely best eyeliner
I have most of the bare mineral eyeliners. They stay where they are put (do not run), brighten the whites of the eyes, and are the most beautiful colors imaginable.
Unfortunately, VERY Disappointed
Let me start off by saying that I have been an AVID user of BE for 5 years now. I have referred many people to BE as well. I believe that this is the first BE product that I have been truly disappointed in. While it does last all day without giving me racoon eyes or smudging into the creases of my lids, that is the ONLY positive this about this product. Like other reviewers have said, it is IMPOSSIBLE to sharpen. I have tried and have literally wasted $15 because I ended up breaking one of the new liners I purchased because it would not sharpen. Also, I prefer a thin line on the upper and lower lids, especially while I am at work. The Big & Bright Eyeliners did this perfectly, I felt I had the ability to determine how thick or thin I wanted my liner to be. With the new waterproof liners, I feel like you have one choice, THICK. I also really really miss the built in sharpener and smudger from the Big & Bright Eyeliners. BE, PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD LINERS, AND QUICK!
I do not like giving BE a bad rating but this eyeliner is terrible. It does not stay on for very long and I was so happy to finally find an eyeliner that actually will go on my inner lid and have an awesome color. I love the color but the eyeliner came off shortly after I put it on, it did not stay for very long. My eyes were not even watering so I have no idea why it didn't stay longer. Though I have to admit BE does make some good eyeliner that glides on very well. Please bring back the big and bright eyeliners!!

"Thank you for the great liners in my kits and I've received an eyeliner in all but one, I love my Tend Report and this eyeliner Round The Clock 10 AM in Midnight came in my kit and I LOVE it! I ALWAYS store my eyeliners in the frig. to keep them cold before I sharpen them, and I've done it this way for many years. I have not broken off one tip unless it was caused by my own negligence by pressing down too hard on the tip when applying.:( When you remove your eyeliner from the frig. it will be easier to sharpen versus one that is warm and has a soft tip. The cold tip will then glide more easily on the warm skin of your eye and give a smooth line. I still have my original sharpener I bought years ago, I just clean and dry it off and it's still like brand new. Please, just try this and see if this will help you like it has for me all these years. BTW, this helpful information was given to me by my friend that works selling high end cosmetics. Thank you Bare Minerals, Escentuals and Leslie for my wonderful kits. Happy summer to all the BE and BM lovers."
PLEASE bring back Big and Bright
When I first tried Big and Bright, I thought finally, an eyeliner that works for me. I was disappointed a few weeks ago to learn that it had been replaced, but I bought a couple of the Round the Clock eyeliners (brown and sage). The colors are beautiful, and I tried to like them, but returned them today. They are too fat (I like a fine line), do not go on smoothly, and are impossible to sharpen to a point. I love all my other BE products (foundation, READY blush, READY eye shadow, PrimeTime, mascara) but this eyeliner just does not make the grade.
How do you sharpen this thing?
Like the others reviewing this item, I love the color, but how do you sharpen it without breaking the actual eye liner product? I don't get it. It's expensive to begin with, BE should have created it like their other eye liners, twisting up or built in sharpener. Frustrated.
Like it, but disappointed
I was so excited to finally get the waterproof eyeliner. I love this color, and it does stay on with my watery eyes. However, it does not go on as smoothly as the Big & Bright, and does not have a built in sharpener. I can live without a smudger, but not the sharpener. Have been wearing the powder liners and the Big & Bright for so long, I had to go out and buy a sharpener. Won't be buying another of the waterproof until improvements are made. So disappointing.
Do not buy!
I purchased a Bare Mineral Kit from QVC. I received two eyeliner pencils in the kit. They worded just fine until I had to sharpen them. I have a high quality pencil sharpener, but no matter what I did with these pencils I could not get the eyeliner to apply to my eyelids. I tried everything. Waste of money. So disappointe,d as I have been using bare minerals products since they first came out. Back to the drawing board with this product.
