Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner - null
I'm So Upset!!!
I have very sensitive eyes. I finally found an eye liner that I can wear and now you have discontinued it. I have used the "Big and Bright" eye liner for a long time and never had a problem. I bought the new "Round the Clock" and my eys burned all day. I am terribly upset. I am almost out of my granite, midnight and charcoal and I can't find any more. PLEASE BRING IT BACK or tell me where I can get some. I hate to have to change makeup brands. I love Bare Minerals. HELP!
Good, at first
I really LOVED this eyeliner, at first. The first day or two I marveled at how smoothly it went on, how long it lasted, and how good it looked. The problem came when it needed sharpening. No matter what sharpener I use, it does not sharpen properly. The soft coloring just falls apart and the sides break. It's almost unusable at this point. For such a soft lead, it should be a mechanical twist up pencil. I'm so sad that a week or so after purchase, my $15 eyeliner is useless. I guess I'll go back to drugstore brands.
Love, love, LOVE this!
This is the perfect, long-wearing eyeliner! It is the first one I have ever found that stays in place all day without smearing or drifting up my eyelids. As for the reviewers who mention problems with the product wearing down too quickly, the secret is to use a VERY light touch when applying it (it glides on so well that's all you need), and to angle the pencil so you are using the side of the point rather than the end. I have gone two weeks without having to sharpen it. Make sure to use the sharpener designed for this pencil and it works perfectly. Don't change a thing about this liner!!
I bought this eyeliner back in the fall and I had wore it from time to time but the waterproof effects didn't matter because I try not to make a habit of crying all the time. But when my father passed away I made sure I wore this eyeliner both days. I cried and cried and when I had a chance to look at my make up my eyeliner still looked great. I wont be wearing anything else ever again.
I have used the big and bright eyeliner for years. This new product packaging is too difficult to open/remove and there is no way to advance the color beyond what is already showing! I will be looking for another brand
I usually use a liquid eyeliner, but I had this eyeliner from a kit that I got and gave it a shot. I just love the color. It stays on great, even on my inner rim! I did buy the BE sharpener (it's so reasonably priced) and have no problems sharpening this liner. I am not sure why people say it's messy or hard to sharpen. I find it easier and cleaner than most pencils. I do wish it didn't need to be sharpened every use, but I prefer that to having a liner that is so hard that you have to struggle to apply it. I find that using a lighter touch and holding the liner at an angle keeps it pointy a bit longer. I can't wait to get a few more colors!
Great for the inner rims!
This is the only eyeliner that lasts on my inner rims. The colors are very pigmented.
I have tried almost every possible eye liner out there in an attempt to find one that actually stays in place all day. I have found it! :) I put it on in the morning, and at midnight when I go to wash my make up off it is still where it should be around my eyes.
A couple of things to be aware of...
You only have a short moment to smudge it after you put it on because it sets very quickly - so this can become an issue if you don't get it the way you want it on the first try.
I read in another review that you really need to use the BE eye liner sharpener so I ordered that with the eye liner. I am very happy I did. I have had no problems sharpening the eye liner. (and the sharpener is very cheap so it is worth it)
I greatly recommend this.
I do not like the new Round the Clock waterproof eyeliner. It is difficult to apply, even with a brush. I have used the Big and Bright eyeliner for years and loved it, but this new one is very hard to apply and darker (I used Plum) than the other product. I can't get the fine line that I used to either. I also do not like that it needs to be sharpened daily instead of just twisted up. I use Bare Escentuals for all of my makeup, but I will be looking for a new choice for eyeliner.
I have very dry eyes and am constantly using eyedrops, which is a huge issue with eyeliner. I hadn't ever found one that I felt was worth the money and had staying power, BE has done it. I agree with many that it is quite soft, but if you go lighter on the hand application, use their sharpener (which is only a few dollars!), or use a liner brush (it really works even if this is a stick pencil), it's amazing!!! I would really like to see a color that is more bronzy/gold/brown, but am quite happy with 7PM.
