Flawless Application Face Brush
Great for applying bronzer!
I use this brush to apply my Ready bronzer and it works great!
Got this brush when I started using Bare Minerals about 2 years ago. When I bought the brush, the sales rep told me I can use baby shampoo to clean it, which I have been for 2 years. I lay my brushes flat to dry and do not scrub or do anything harsh with them. The past few months the hairs have been shedding everywhere (my face, my counter, in the makeup). Eventually, the entire head of the brush came off the handle. Had to throw it away. I called the company and they basically told me it's normal wear and tear and my warranty is up; time to get a new one. I would think a $20 brush would last more than 2 years if taken care of, but I guess I'm wrong. Not sure why anyone would spend $20 on a makeup brush that isn't long lasting when you can get one at CVS for cheaper than also isn't long lasting. Just my opinion.
While it was in tact, it did work well though. Good coverage, not cakey.
This brush is horrible!
After just a couple uses this brush started shedding and breaking off all over my face and body. I have continued to use it though and it has only gotten worse. I hope to find another brush with better quality. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this brush!!
I love Bare Minerals but I will never buy their brushes again. I've only had this brush a few weeks and it's bristles fall out so badly that they end up everywhere, including getting into my eyes. VERY poor quality for the price. VERY disappointed.
all the bristles fall off every time i use the brush have been using BM make up for years and i never encounter a problem so bad like this brush. after applying make up i find ALOT of the brush's bristles all over the place. BAD BAD BAD!!!
GREAT FOUNDATION BRUSH
I use this brush along with my BE loose mineral matte foundation and it really gives me a flawless look. Some people complain about the brush texture, but I think the brush is great. It works really well with the original and matte foundations. Great product!
Great for Mineral Veil
I use this brush for the original mineral veil. I wouldn't use it as a foundation brush because it is not firm and doesn't seem like it would provide good coverage. Love it though!
I wouldn't buy it, honestly.
This brush came with my foundation starter kit, which is fine, but I probably wouldn't purchase another. The bristles are a bit long, and they could be a bit softer in my opinion (as you are buffing, you skin can get a little sting from this brush). Someone on here said that they needed a hair removal roller after using this because it shed so bad, and I remember thinking, "Oh god, they are so exaggerative." No, no they really aren't exaggerating at all! I was in shock at how many hairs were all over my shirt after my first few uses. Not sure if it is going to eventually stop shedding so much, but not sure if I will keep using it as my main buffing brush, either. Overall, not something I would recommend unless it was free or heavily discounted.
Great for Mineral Veil
I have used this brush for applying both READY touch up veil and the loose powder mineral veil. It works great for both. The bristles are soft, but it does seem to shed a little bit.
Favorite Face Brush
This is my favorite brush because it is so versatile. It came with my Complexion Essentials Get-Started Kit, and I'm so glad for it. I use this brush mostly to apply Pure Radiance over my cheeks and brow bone, sometimes using it on the bridge-of-nose, forehead and chin area. I have also used it to apply Mineral Veil over my entire face, but I like to have one brush dedicated per product so colors don't get mixed up.
It provides light-to-medium coverage. I don't own many BE brushes (I also have the Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush & the Heavenly Face Brush), but it is the softest of those three and definitely way softer than the drugstore and other online retailer brushes that I've owned. I've washed it twice with the BE Brush Conditioning Shampoo. It cleans and reshapes easily, and I haven't had any shedding issues.
