Before using BareMinerals brushes, I've always just bought new brushes instead of cleaning my old ones. Since these brushes are so nice and I can't even think about throwing them away, I decided to start cleaning them with brush shampoo. I originally bought the Sephora conditioning shampoo thinking it was the same and it was NOT. The Sephora shampoo ruined my kabuki brush and made it course and all the hairs started to fall out. I ended up throwing that brush away because it was not salvageable and bought a new one WITH the BareMinerals conditioning shampoo. I was skeptical to use it, but this stuff works great! My brushes feel brand new after they're dried and it really helps to prolong their life. This is a must-buy if you want to save money in the long run from constantly buying new brushes.

Awesome Brush Cleanser
A little goes a long way. Very simple to use, just a small dab of cleanser and a gentle sweeping motion should do the trick. Once rinsed, remove the excess water and allow the brush to dry. Please keep in mind that you will want the bristles facing downward as if water is allowed to sit within the metal portion of the brush, it could potentially decrease the lifetime of the brush. : ) Excellent Product!

brushes are so soft after using this!
This stuff is great! Before I started using BE I used baby shampoo on my old set of brushes and they were always stiff and scratchy. After washing both my new BE brushes and my old set they are all very soft and feel great when applying makeup. I got a big bottle in my starter kit last month and can tell this stuff will last a long while. This is a must buy!

great product!!
I have very sensitive skin and some brush cleaning shampoos ended up causing me problems afterwards -NOT this one! I resorted to baby shampoo but I started noticing that the bristles of my brushes felt coarse. When I saw this conditioning shampoo, I gave it a try and it works like a charm! Now my brushes stay soft and I don't have any problems with skin reactions after I wash them.
I noticed that Mystiques said that her brushes were flat afterwards. I have a suggestion: after washing your brush, hold the handle firmly and shake off the water. Then put the handle between the palms of your hands and roll it back and forth quickly to make the brush fluff up. I do this rolling thing again after the brush is dry. I find that by doing this, my brushes end up fluffier than they were before I washed them -like they were when they were brand new. Hope this helps!! : )

Works just like it says!
My brushes are old, and even though I tried to take care of them, they were rough and scratchy, and starting to feel greasy and oily. After just 2 washes with this, my brushes are DRAMATICALLY improved. They feel almost like new again! This has become part of my make-up ritual to renew my old brishes and keep my new ones nice. Wonderful!

Cleans brushes easily and gently
I received a big bottle in the starter kit I bought this summer and still have it. It's highly concentrated so you don't have to use very much, smaller than a penny dab for each brush. Lathers up nice, then rinses pretty easy. Love it, and love that it keeps my brushes in tip top shape.

Cleans well, easy to use
This does a great job of cleaning brushes. To some it may seem like the price point is a little high, but it lasts a long time; I've been using the same bottle for quite a while now.

A savior
I use this every two months, it makes my brushes feel like new! The first time I used it, it made my brushes stop sheding! It does not cause any build up of waxes and oils. It cleans them and gets rid of the bacteria without ruining the brushes! You only need like a pea size for each brush! Worth every penny!

soooo..
When we clean our brushs and we should be doing so once every three weeks due to bacteria that can be hiding in the waiting to get into your pores and clog them up! we should wash and then dry them off the edge of a counter or if at all possible hang them up side down! =] this brush shampoo and conditioner keeps my brushs very soft! they got kinda hard so i tried this and it was much better!

A must have!
The only brushes I use are (of course) Bare Escentuals. I wouldn't trust a different type of brush cleaner. My brushes always feel so nice and clean after shampooing them with this.
