Stroke of Light Eye Brightener - null
Makes such a difference!
I absolutely love this product! I wake up at 4:45am every day to go work out before going to work so some days I have dark circles under my eyes. Well with this product that is not a problem anymore. I just dab a little on and blend it in with a brush and the dark circles are gone. It blends perfectly and I love it!
Will be getting the full size
I got the baby size using the BRIGHTEYE code when checking out, and I am really happy with this. I have been putting my foundation on heavier under my eyes to cover up my dark circles (I sleep a solid 8.5 hours a night, so it’s not that). This is super awesome and doesn’t feel thick or cake, and naturally covers the darkness and blends with my natural Fairley Light skin tone easily. You only need a little, so I feel the baby size would last a while because I just stipple it under my eyes and on the sides of the bridge of my nose. I have put it both under my foundation, and when I forget to do it first I put it on over my foundation and either way it looks pretty much the same. So, good for me! I have a friend that has really dark circles and hasn’t found anything that covers it, so I want to get her one so she can try it for herself.
Brightens up the eye area!
I got a sample of Lum1 with my last BE order and I love it! I use it on days where I don't feel like wearing eye make-up. I use a little dab on my eyelids and it helps conceal my veiny eyelids and brighten up the eye area. When worn underneath eyeshadow it helps them stay in place, but I would not use to substitute my existing eye primer. I don't use it under the eye area like suggested because I feel that it get into my lines and conceal much but it's a great brightener. Also handy to highlight cheeks when in a pinch!
can't even tell I put it on
I was very excited to try this product out in the free sample. I have given it several tries and put it on many different ways (blotting, rubbing, using a brush and finger, etc), but everytime I use it, I still have dark circles under my eyes and I have to reapply my old concealer I've been using all along. This concealer is very very light which I like because I hate heavy make up, but the coverage is no good unfortunately. I'm going to try the well rested now....
Not sure what the raves are about...
I was really excited to try this product because of the great reviews and am sad to report that I am less than impressed. Put it on and lightly blended and there is no change whatsoever with my circles. I also have found that it DOES get into your skin lines. Save your money. The search goes on....

This is undoubtedly the best product on the market for combatting tired, dark looking eyes. Whether those be the result of a late night or, like me, genetics.
Since as long as I can remember, concealing my dark circles has been a challenge. I competitively danced for 18 years and getting my makeup to look as good as the other girls was always just short of performing a miracle. I've used liquid, creams, powders and even the kind shaped like a lipstick. Bare Minerals was the first step, for me, in the right direction against these nasty pore-filling foundations. I used the well-rested powder for several years but found that I had to use 3 or 4 applications to get the coverage I was looking for. Then, earlier this summer, I tried the Well-Rested eye and face brightener. Brighten it did but, unfortunately, did absolutely NOTHING for the dark circles. If you catch the light right, it appears reflective but, from a direct look, the purple eye beasts looked almost worse. I read a review shortly after from a customer who recommended this product, instead, as she had had similar results. Lucky me, I received a sample from my early-fall shopping spree. I was INSTANTLY hooked! I went as far as to pull the cotton off of a cotton swab so I could scrape the inside of the sample bottle. Once I used up the last of the well-rested, I was at the Bare Minerals boutique. We're talking SAME-DAY. I cannot say enough good things about this stuff. It conceals perfectly, it brightens, it's everything I could hope for. I only need one "dip" of the applicator sponge and it covers both eyes. I have light skin with yellow undertones so I use the Fairly Light Original foundation and "Luminous 2" is the perfect color for me. In the bottle and on the back of your hand it will look too dark but its blending qualities are flawless and it doesn't look dark at all. At ALL! That would defeat the purpose.
Seriously, stop reading and start buying. You'll never go back and won't know how you lived without it.
THANKS A MILLION B.E.!
If I could drink this stuff I would. I put it on my lids to cover up my veins (being scottish and all) and under my eyes to cover my severe dark circles. Instant bright eyes! I pair it with the well rested face and eye brightener and the effect is flawless, dewy glow. I never thought my skin would look dewy and now, it does!
It should be called Stroke of Genius
I've tried similar products from several companies and thought they were pretty good, but they aren't in the same class as Stroke of Light. I've never been able to hide my dark circles successfully until I used this and the new concealer. I was not kind to my eyes over the years (e.g., wearing theatrical makeup, inconsistent skin care, rubbing because of allergies, etc.), and now it shows. They claimed that this would improve how my eyes looked. It only took one application to see an astounding difference. It's not often that I'll throw other products away in favor of a new one. In fact, this may have been the first time. I don't what else to say except, "Buy it!"
Dont let your face tell on you
Ever go out for one glass of wine afer work and ops all of a sudden its 1 am and your swinging from a chandellier? Yeah me too. If you have work the next day and your face tells the tale of your late evening this is a great investment. I also use it to cover blemishes. Once at a wedding I cover someones ugly tatoo with it.
I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it! It creates just enought light under the eye to make it look nice but not too much to make it look unnatural. It also works to make your eyeshadow pop!
