Question
I have acne scars on my cheeks and chin and sometimes it look worse when I apply your makeup. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Carm H.
Answer
Dear Carm,
I highly recommend our award-winning bareMinerals® ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation. It provides all the coverage you want, with a natural look and no-makeup feel. Looks like a powder, feels like a cream, and with just 5 pure ingredients, it’s clinically proven to improve the appearance of skin over time.
But first, create an ultra silky, smooth canvas and experience your most flawless foundation application ever by applying Prime Time Foundation Primer. It smoothes away flaky dryness, rough patches, fine lines, excess oil, enlarged pores, and uneven texture. This mineral-infused formula glides on seamlessly, while helping to extend the wear of your foundation. Plus, it’s formulated without preservatives, oils, and fragrances. Apply in a thin, even layer all over face, and allow to dry.
I suggest using the Heavenly Face Brush to apply your foundation. Swirl a small amount in the lid until it all disappears into the brush. Tap off excess. Finally, buff onto the skin in a circular motion. Follow by using the Maximum Coverage Face Brush to press and roll a tiny bit more of the foundation onto areas of the face that need more coverage. Finally, press bareMinerals READY SPF 15 Touch Up Veil onto entire face to diffuse the look of imperfections while reducing shine for a flawless finish throughout the day.

Question
What eyeliner color is best for dark brown eyes? I also have very dark circles under my eyes and don’t want to call attention to them, but want to be able to wear eyeliner on lower lash line. Please help me with this.
Thanks,
Tanya L.
Answer
Dear Tanya,
Dark brown eyes can be accentuated with shades of plum, gray, slate blue, as well as black. Eyeliner shades in warm tones can make eyes look softer and warmer. Shades like bronze, golden brown and deep red plum are great choices. Cool eyeliner shades in deep navy blue, dark brown and dark charcoal gray will also look fabulous. Our bareMinerals® Liner Shadows can be applied dry, using the Eyeliner Brush for a soft, smoky effect or wet to create intense, eye-catching drama. I recommend Soft Black, Coffee Bean, Sugar Plum, Brocade and Downtown Liner Shadows for the perfect daytime look. You’ll love Midnight Sky, Onyx, Yoga and Tiger’s Eye Liner Shadow for a stunning evening look.
Our creamy Big & Bright® Eyeliner in Charcoal and Plum are definite must-haves and should be a staple of your makeup bag.
Before lining your lower lash line, conceal dark under-eye circles with our award-winning bareMinerals SPF 20 Concealer in Bisque. Apply using the Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush for medium-to-full coverage, or the Light Stroke Brush for sheer-to-medium coverage. I recommend having bareMinerals Well-Rested® SPF 20 Eye Brightener on hand to reduce the appearance of morning drowsiness. Simply sweep it on under the eyes to counter dark shadows and promote a brighter, luminous finish.
Hope this helps and I hope to see you at one of my Master Class Beauty Events if I’m ever in your city.

Question
I just got the new Prime Time Primer Shadow and I'm not sure if I'm using it right. It doesn't look good under my bareMinerals READY™ Eyeshadow. I have been using the free sample of Prime Time Eyelid Primer and love it. How do you use the primer shadow?
Thanks,
Dawn M.
Answer
Dear Dawn,
I’ve recently received a lot of questions about how to apply Prime Time™ Primer Shadows with bareMinerals READY™ Eyeshadow. To be completely honest, I love the look of Prime Time Primer Shadows alone, providing the look of vivid, intense color that feels airy with a lightweight blendable texture. You could also use the Primer Shadows as eyeliners by simply applying with the Full Edged Liner Brush for a sharp, well-defined line or the Heavenly Liner Blending Brush for a smoky, smudged liner application.
When working with your favorite with bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow, I suggest that you continue to prime the surface of your eyelid using the Prime Time Eyelid Primer in Original, Brightening or Brightening Pearl because it will not interfere with your eyeshadow.
For a stunning look, try applying a very small amount of Prime Time Primer Shadow in Gunmetal into the crease and outer corner of the eyelid, blending it inwards using the Eye Defining Brush. Then apply bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 The Scenic Route in Spectacular onto the eyelid using the tapered end of the Double-Ended Precision Brush. Highlight the brow bone with bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow in Breathtaking, using the pointed end of the Double-Ended Precision Brush.
Hope this helps and please stop by a Bare Escentuals boutique for your complimentary make-under. Our expert team of Beauty Ambassadors will show you the latest trends in makeup application.
All the Best,
Bravon
