Color: Sugar Plum
Description: A metallic lilac shade

Redefine gorgeous with bareMinerals Liner Shadow, a multi-talented alternative to traditional eyeliner. Sweep it on dry for soft, smoky shading, or wear it wet for a dramatic, fine line.

Size: Small (0.28 g / 0.01 Oz.)

  • Won't smudge, run or fade like a waxy pencil
  • Applies velvety smooth — wet or dry — for an expert finish
  • Won't pull or tug at the sensitive skin around your eyes
  • Vibrant, long-lasting colors last all day long — longer than a traditional pencil
  • Uses a 100% pure blend of natural minerals
  • Preservative-free to prevent eye irritation
  • Gentle enough for sensitive eyes
  • A more precise lash line.

Apply Sugar Plum with a dampened, angled brush across the top lash line. This will give you a more precise lash line.
  • Dramatic eye look.

Smudge Sugar Plum dry across the upper lash line to create a more dramatic eye look.

  • Great soft look.

Apply Sugar Plum dry across the upper lash line for a soft appearance. Use a soft-bristled brush so the color is not too intense.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coffee Bean!? What happened to coffee bean? I have been using it for years and am extremely disappointed to not see it as a color option. Please bring it back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lost Colors I too have been a long time customer, and have several different shades of this type of liner, when you had more choices. My "go to" has been the DragonFly Blue, and you have no other dark blue in your selections, which is a shame. I might have to go to a different supplier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Liner! I have used this liner for over 10 years. I love Dragonfly and Green Tea. I am completely out of Green Tea and almost out of Dragonfly which is a beautiful blue color for green eyes. I am heartbroken that both of these colors have been discontinued, and no similar colors are being offered. Please bring them back! This is the only eyeliner that I can use for my sensitive eyes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome eyeliner!! I have been using this eyeliner for years in coffee bean. I was having trouble finding it. First Ulta Beauty stopped carrying it and then Sephora so I went to the Bare Minerals store in one of the malls and was told the product was discontinued but she found me 3 in the back room. I then came to this web site and found it was still available and bought 2 of them and I have finally run out and back to order more and find coffee bean is no longer available! I am so upset as this is the best and only eyeliner I have used for many years! I have tried to go back to pencils but they just don't work the same! Please bring back coffee bean!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best product ever! Please bring back COFFEE BEAN. This is the best product ever! It stays on very well. I have been using it in the Coffee Bean color for many, many years and I am extremely disappointed to see that Coffee Bean is not offered. Has it been discontinued? If so, PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product overall Good eyeliner. Stays on all day. Powder kind of goes everywhere when putting it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from firefly liner I already own 5 of these liners, and have more on my wishlist. I LOVE them. I apply them dry for a subtle look, or wet for a greater effect. I often wiggle my applicator brush into the roots of my eyelashes. The result often has the look of the '20s or '40s, or can be "smoky". The downside is that the powder does fall off of the brush. I use two tricks. First, I always use an eye shadow primer. That keeps the powder on my eyelids. I also hold a shield under my eye, so that any powder falls onto the shield, and not my flawless foundation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this liner! I have these in TLC and Green Tea and they are pretty much my life right now. I use the double-ended liner shadow brush for these and I love the drama they bring to my eyes. I find them very easy to use and have great color when applied with a damp brush. Will be buying again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very gold and sparkly A teen color for sure....sparkly gold flecks ruin the pecan coloring of this eyeliner unless neon is what you are looking for. Personally I was very dissapointed...Now what do I do with this ....

Q & A

Has coffee bean been discontinued?

Do they still make a liner shadow in coffee bean? If not, what color is the most similar?
Asked by: Deanna1

I'm looking for one that's a little lighter brown and doesn't have alot of shimmer or glimmer like the Bark liner I have?

Coffee Bean looks like it doesn't have glimmer in it but it looks very close to Bark color. I would like something a little more light brownish. Not sure if liners are finer in texture than shadows cause I could get a shadow to use as a liner I guess. Does anyone know?
Asked by: onthetrack5
Tigers Eye is lighter than Bark, but has a lot of glimmer. Firefly is even lighter, but again, has a lot of glimmer. Coffee Bean does NOT have glimmer. I don't own Bark yet. As far as I can tell, the difference between the liners and the shadows is the ratio of pigment to carrier. If you put a touch of powder onto a brush, and wipe it across the back of your hand, and see a sheer color, then your powder does not have enough pigment to be used as a liner. I do use two "shadows" as liners.

Question about Hottie

Does this color of shadow/eyeliner have gold flakes in it?
Asked by: alleydoll

What is the difference between using liner shadows and the regular eyeshadows as eye liners?

Besides colors, I was wondering if there was any difference between the two products when used as eyeliner (with water added). Obviously the colors are different, but with the regular eyeshadow products, you get 2X the amount for the same price as the liner shadows. Are the liner shadows longer lasting/less flaky? Or is there no true difference besides color and amount?
Asked by: MsNat
BIG difference between liners and shadows. The liners have a much higher ratio of pigment to carrier. Most of the shadows are not sufficiently dense in pigment to work as liners.

I am looking for eyeliner fashionista or product like it

I like the reddish tone in the fashionista.
Asked by: suertgr
I also love Fashionista, and have had to go on Ebay to find it as BE no longer offers this color. At least, not that I have been able to find anywhere.

How do I keep this eyeliner from transferring to my upper lid/outer corners?

I love that these eyeliners last forever. And I can make a really thin tight line and then wing it out in a really precise cat eye. However, I find that after a while, the color from the eyeliner is transferring to my upper lid and outer corner of my eye. I have been applying this with a wet brush and still, it transfers. Any ideas? Primer? Can I use Prime Time on my eyes, too? Would that help? Do tell.
Asked by: erinshelly
You might try moisturizer at night, then primer, with powder on top. The eyeliners are more prone to transfer if they touch moist skin. By having powder as the top layer of your eyes, the surface will be dry. A good primer will retain the night's moisture.

Is this liner shadow safe for contact lens wearers?

I am a contact lens wearer with sensitive eyes and wanted to know if the liner shadow is ok to use with my contact lenses.
Asked by: BlueEyes24
Yes it is! I am a contact wearer as well, and I have yet to have a problem with it :) My eyes and skin are sensitive to certain products as well, and this has been good to me so far! No redness or sensitiveness to my contacts.

I am looking for a shadow liner similar to old color "Yoga"

I am looking for a shadow liner similar to old color "Yoga" I am close to running out of yoga and I believe the color has been discontinued.
Asked by: Kanino3
It can be found in the degrees of dazzling shadow packet :) but if you don't want to buy all 20 colors that come with it, which I would just recommend getting it cuz it is amazing! but if not, I'd try S ex Kitten ( it has a burgundy undertone, but with the shimmer) or Shantaug ( more of a matte finish with more of a maroon undertone)

I'm looking for the liner closest in color to "nurture" - can you point me in the right direction?

I'm guessing you no longer carry "nurture" - if you do, I'll gladly purchase that! :)
Asked by: MaryE
I would try nobel :) it has the same shimmer and is close to the brown from nurture. It's not to dark, if you want darker though, try twig ( has the shimmer) or you can never be too rich (matte)
