Warmth All-Over Face Color 4.4 5 71 72
The Best BE Product Ever!! :D I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Warmth. I think it is the best product that BE has! I wear it everyday and it totally transforms my look. It's a beautiful golden brown that makes it look as if I just got back from a week on a tropical vacation. This is an absolute must that can be used either as an all over face color, a bronzer, or a blush. Another plus for me, is that it is not shimmery like so many other bronzers are. And it doesn't look orangey or muddy, either. It's a very natural healthy look that I just love! 05/29/2011
this is the best I love warmth! It really gives my face that just perfect look after I brush it on after the foundation. It's the perfect finishing touch. My skin is oily and by noon, the oil has shown through other makeups I have used. But after using Bare Minerals foundation and warmth all over, the shine stays away all day! I hope this product never goes away. 04/20/2013
Best bronzer ever I've been using Warmth all-over face color for about 5 years now. I would never leave the house without putting it on. It's gives you the perfect color contrast without making you look too orange or brown. It makes my skin look vibrant, healthy and gives me the perfect glow. This product is for sure a must have for your makeup bag. 04/11/2013
Best blush ever. I have had the same warmth since the first starter kit i purchased in 2003. I use the small kabuki brush to apply and the finest dusting in the lid is all you need. i am so pale (with freckles) its like my neck is translucent. but with proper application i can flush my cheeks chin and nose without it looking too made up. i find that tapping the brush once in each area you are going to apply before you swirl helps distribute more evenly. 03/29/2013
Great alternative to blush I personally really like the warmth. I like adding natural glow and color to my face but I don't care so much for pink blushes because it is not natural looking to me. I want to look sun-kissed. I apply directly on my cheekbones and bridge of nose and dust a light remaining amount all over my face. When I first started wearing people noticed that I looked tanner like I'd been in the sun (but really I wasn't in the sun!). I will say though that I think this is too harsh of a color for those with fair skin tones. I have a medium complexion and use Medium Beige in the original luminous powder foundation and it works good for me. I could see it being too dark for someone with fair skin. 02/05/2013
Don't give up on warmth Way back when I first started using Bare Minerals, the kit I received had a small sample of warmth in it. Like a few others I see leaving reviews on here, I thought it seemed far too dark for my fair skintone, and I gave up on using it. However, as I became more addicted to BE and started experimenting with colors more, and learned you do not need to use much of any BE product to get the look you want, I learned how to use a _tiny_ bit of warmth on an angled face brush or a blush brush with great results. Then I discovered something even better. See, my skin is strange in that I have light patches under my eyes (I still get dark circles, but the skin around my eyes seems to be more translucent or something) that I never did like the look of, and always drove me crazy. One day, I was applying warmth as usual and decided to try using it to conceal my 'light circles'. It worked perfectly! I love using it now to even out my skintone and darken my lighter spots after I apply foundation. For those of you that have uneven patches of skin, try using a little warmth to even things up. It only takes a tiny amount (I just barely touch the tips of some of the brush bristles to the minerals) to make a difference. 01/20/2013
Love This I was skeptical about this product, but it came with the Customizable Get Started Kit; so, I gave it a whirl. I am so glad that I did. I have very fair skin and was worried that it would be too dark. It applies perfectly and doesn't look like I have makeup on--just great skin. I always get compliments on my skin now! 12/31/2012
LOVE IT! I love this product. Even though I am African American I love warmth!! People always tell me I look like I have a nice summer glow all year round without getting the 365 days of summer sun. 12/23/2012
A little goes a long way I'm Asian Chinese with medium skin tone (yellow based) and I gotten this from the Starter Kit from Sephora. First impression, the packaging is huge! I don't need that much brown powder on my face. After trying it out, I have to admit. I looked really good in pictures - not the usualface that looked "flat" after foundation. It gave me a natural glow and contoured my face. I swept it across the side of my forehead, my cheekbones to my jawline following to the number 3. I wouldn't say this a must-have in my makeup collection as I don't use bronzers but now, I am pretty convinced that Warmth will help you look complete! 12/18/2012
Good Bronzer I'm noy actually a fan of bronzers, but I tried the face color as a bronzer and it was beautiful. I used it also when my foundation was a little too light. I applied the foundation first, then I applied the face color on top until it blended evenly with my skintone. I liked it. 12/01/2012

It should be .07 oz. I went to a website of a store that sells it and it describes it in their description section of the product. You usually will get enough of the products you get. You always want to use your makeup sparingly and wisely. Too little makeup leaves flaws, too much makeup can look cakey and noticeable in a bad way. Less is more. The more natural you look or the less makeup you have to really improve your overall look will help you. I have gone to work and have gotten compliments from a couple women at work. One was older and has a grown son and she complimented me and another is probably 5-6 years younger than I am and I'm 27! That made me feel good that a young person liked my look.

I've heard about a million different explanation for applying Warmth, and I'd like to hear what you all think. Where does Warmth go on the cheeks? On top for a highlight? In the middle for some extra color? In the hollows for a more sculpted cheek look?

Answer: D. All of the above.
Honestly, you can use it wherever you want. It can be used for all the things you mentioned. I've used it for all of those and then some. I even use it under my eyes where my skin is lighter to make my skintone more even. Have fun and experiment with it! Use it wherever you think it looks good!

I use warmth in different ways depending on what i am trying to accomplish. When I don't wear blush I use it in the middle of my checks. Applying it this way gives me a very natural (no make up) look, it adds dimension to my face without any obvious color. When I am using in conjunction with my blush I apply it to the hollows of my cheeks as a contouring color. My sister, who's skin tone is darker than the warmth, uses it at the tops of her cheeks as a highlight. It gives her a very nice, natural looking glow.

You can all of the above. Try all the above on a different day and see what suits your face the best! Its a win-win product! I like to use it as a full face product and will sometimes use it as a eyeshadow also!

Hi!

I s'pose you'd apply Warmth in whatever fashion suits you. I know some gals use it as a blush. I've used it as an eyeshadow, myself. However, on any given day I personally use it in a "3" shape (w/ a slanted brush) starting at my forehead, sweeping down my temples to below my cheekbones (I like the contoured cheek look, personally), then on down to the chin bone (and under also to provide a shadow). Repeat in a backwards "3" on the other side of your face. I don't think there is exactly one "proper" way to apply warmth, but that's the way I've seen it done in boutiques, etc many, many times. Additionally, I have dabbed a bit on a small brush & applied it down the sides & on the tip of my nose to give it slimmer, more contoured look. This is a great trick to use but it takes a little practice. :)

While I think Warmth is a super product, I have to use it VERY sparingly (only the dust in the lid). I have fair skin w/ pink undertones, and it tends to look really dark, fake, and orange if I'm not careful. I wish BE would develop a Warmth-type product for those of is who are very fair skinned. Dare to dream?

Good luck to you!

Hi!

I just take my lip gloss or lip stick and dip it into the eyeshadow or blush (or whatever product) that is the color I want to tint my gloss or stick, then apply it right to my lips.

TIP: if you are using a lip gloss with a spongy applicator, it can pick up the color you're dipping into and permanently change the color of your gloss. If I want to play with dipping a gloss into BE products, I just buy a cheap lip gloss and experiment. That way, if the color changes I don't feel bad because I didn't spend a lot of money on it. You don't tend to have this problem if you use a lipstick because it is solid and there is no applicator. Whatever you dip your lipstick into is applied directly to your lips and it's not deposited back into your remaining product. Try playing with it! There's no reason why you couldn't try mixing a little product on your hand and apply it with a lip brush. Have fun and experiment! I hope this helps in some small way. Good luck to you!

If you're talking about the big and healthy buxom lip balm, it's for color and texture, so you don't have to add to that if you don't want to.

If you're talking about the lip balm spf 20 or the first base balm, this is to help your lips be soft and supple. You can add color on top of it if you want OR you can keep your lips bare if you want a nice day look to be more natural.

Any products that have the word "matte" in the description won't have any sparkle, shimmer, glitter, or glimmer to them. If you don't see the word "matte" somewhere on the product page it is most likely a glimmery product.

Not all of the products contain shimmer, but many do. I tend to steer clear of them myself, as my skin is quite oily & I feel I have that natural "dewy glow" enough as it is. I know without a doubt that 'Warmth' is not sparkly, I use it as an all over face color, a blush, & I mix it with lotion to create my own self-tanned look. If I were you, I'd browse through the Blushes & All Over Face Colors & check out the ingredients lists, looking for "Mica". Mica is generally what's used to make products sparkly. So if a product doesn't contain it, then it's probably what you're looking for. Or you may just have to visit one of their boutiques to find out which one's right for you. If that isn't possible, then you could most certainly contact Customer Service through email or by phone & ask them which formulations do not contain any shimmer, glitter, or sparkle. M'kaaay, hope this helps. Good luck, & Happy Shopping! =]

Help! I'd love to add just a little warmth to my face, as this product is designed to do. But it goes on too dark, so I look oddly dark on my face. I've tried putting it on with the fan brush, but then I don't see any additional color in my face at all.

Any tips and tricks in terms of applicator brush to apply it with and how to get the color just right?

(FYI -- I'm a warm "light" -- I use Fairly Light if I'm really pale, but usually I'm Golden Fair, or Light.)

Thanks!

I use an angled blush brush if I'm using it in a specific area or a flawless application face brush if I'm going more all-over. I imagine any of the brushes for sheer coverage would be good, too. It is really easy to get too much, though. With the brushes I use, I just barely touch the tips of some of the bristles to the warmth, and even then I sometimes tap some off. The trick is to just get a tiny bit. You can always add more. ;-)

Hope that helps!

I flip the warmth container over then tap the lid before opening it. When I open the lid, I only use the amount of warmth that's leftover on the lid, then apply that with the flawless face brush.

Hi Amy!

I have had this same problem with Warmth too. I'm very fair skinned; I wear "Fair" foundation. I use a BE angled brush, and I use only the dust in the lid, plus I tap THAT off. I find that it's just enough for my light skin tone. Try applying in the hollows of your cheeks (start near your ear and go down toward your mouth, NOT vice versa), under your chin, and make a "3" pattern on your face, starting at the forehead and ending along the jawline. You do have to be careful with Warmth because it can look orange and fake on really light skin. It'll keep forever since you use so little of it. It makes a nice eye shadow, too. I hope this helps!

I just sprinkle a little of the powder at a time onto the lid... then apply in layers little by little.. Or maybe try working it around the whole outside of your face and slowly go inward along your cheek bones.

If you get the warmth in kits they are small in the 29.99 kit and a medium in the 59.98, but when you just order the large they are same size i'm pretty sure maybe just due to the new containers i think they sad they put less because they expect you not to waste as much. something like that!
