Rated 5 out of 5 by ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!!?! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!!!!!! THIS WAS THE ONLY FOUNDATION I'VE EVER BEEN COMPLETELY AND 100% SATISFIED WITH AND NOW ITS DISCONTINUED?!?! BEFORE I EVEN GOT A CHANCE TO BUY 20 OF THEM?! I DON'T LIKE THE NEW REPLACEMENT + there are horrible reviews of it :[ :[ :[ :[ :[ :[ :[ :[ I've worn Bare Minerals for 10 years now and this will definiteLY force me to find another company... I can't believe this. I'm so disappointed. 09/28/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Please Don't Discontinue! Please listen to your customers and reconsider discontinuing this product! I started with Bare Minerals when they first came to QVC many years ago, started with the original, but Ready hands down is the best for my skin, and also love the spf 20 in it. 09/28/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Please don't discontinue Please don't take this foundation away! It's wonderful and my favorite. I wont go back to the loose powder. Please please please keep it 09/27/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Disappointed in the plan to discontinue this product I have been a bare minerals women for over 10 years and haven't found a foundation to compare with this one and believe me I have tried a few, but no one comes close. As several of your other reviews have indicated - I won't use your new Bare Pro for several reasons - mainly because the chief ingredient in the new product is TALC - something that your company has always prided itself on not including in your products before; and because it contains NO SPF at all. What were you thinking??? Tell Leslie, I am very disappointed!! But you can make it right by bringing this back from "the vault". You've done it before, and can do it again if enough of us show you that we really want it back. 09/27/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE I have been using this foundation for 3 years now and nothing else comes close! It has amazing coverage, goes on evenly, and gives a flawless look. I have tried other foundations within this brand and they simply do not compare. I freaked out when it wasn't under the foundation category anymore and read the barePRO reviews and so far it is horrible. I will not be switching to that if this is indeed discontinued and will have to switch to another brand all together. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE, many customers have this same feeling!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM PRAYING 09/27/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Please do not discontinue Ready foundation!!! I used the original bare mineral foundation and I liked it better than most other products but it was a little too dry for my skin and sometimes settled in the creases so I tried Ready which works really well for me. If Ready is discontinued I will have to start searching for another brand. The barePro does not work for me. It goes on unevenly and is nowhere near the ease of application of Ready. Please do not discontinue Ready. 09/25/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Why! Why on Gods green earth would you ever discontinue?! So upset about this. I will not use barepro and really don't want to go back to the original foundation. 09/24/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE!!!!!!! I absolutely LOVEEEEE this product!!!! I have been using it for years and would love to continue to use it!!!!! I have tried the new barePRO and absolutely HATE it!!!!!! If they go through with discontinuing this I will no longer use bareMinerals! I really hope they see the reviews and change their mind! This product is AMAZING!!!! It covers really well and gives me that flawless look!!! I have many friends that also use this product and they love it just as much as me! Really hope they change their minds about discontinuing this product!!! 09/22/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Don't discontinue!!!! This foundation has been the best thing for my skin! I haven't found a coverage so good, but still feel amazing on my skin and doesn't make me breakout. Please don't make me go back out on the hunt to find another foundation! Because I won't be buying the "new"one. It already has horrible reviews :( 09/19/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved this foundation Upset with discontinuation Loved this foundation. Originally used regular bare minerals but after 2-3 years my skin started reacting negatively to so I switched to Matte which was okay until the Golden Medium just doesn't work well with my skin tone anymore. So I switched to Ready. This is the best out of all the three. It's long lasting and feels and looks great. Coverage is awesome too. I'm so sad that they are discontinuing this product. I was lucky enough to find out early and bought 4 of them to stock up. That should last me close to at least a year combined with what I have right now. And then, I'll deal with finding a replacement. I haven't tried the bare pro but If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to do. 09/16/2016

I wear medium beige in the original foundation. I heard shade matching in the ready can be tricky so I got matched in a boutique. She matched me to medium beige and it looked great. But I don't feel I'm getting the coverage or the color. What am I doing wrong? Am I in the right shade?

I had to go a shade darker than I normally wore with the other Bare Minerals foundation. I've always gotten the Medium Light and had to go just Medium with this product.

Answer:
I was a medium beige in the original foundation and I was happy with the medium beige in the Ready foundation. Since it is getting near summer and I am getting a tan, I use medium tan and it matches my skin perfectly.

I have used this product for a year or more. I get to use about half the product in the compact and then it cracks and breaks, making a huge mess, and is unusable. I use the recommended brush, and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I like it otherwise, but it is expensive when I can't finish using the foundation. Do you have any recommendations? I get it usually at Ulta, and they have been terrible in helping me with this problem.

How are you using the brush to put the product on it? I use this and have never had that problem. I tap the brush on it to get the product on the brush -- I do not swipe it, if you understand what I am saying. Don't know if that helps any or not.

Answer:
I'm not sure why it's breaking. Are you maybe pressing to firmly with the brush when applying? I use a light even brush stroke to the compact and repeat until I get the perfect coverage. I've never had an issue with mine breaking. Only time it gets a little crumbly is if it's almost out and only a small amount of foundation powder is left around the edges. I usually just throw it away at that point.

Hi, I also have fairly oily skin and started using the ready compact foundation. It worked for 2 months but now I'm noticing my skin to get oily again. I think it's because this particular product is supposed to be hydrating the skin, as it says in the description. You may want to try the loose powder, although I have yet to try it.

Answer:
Well they have translucent and the other color which is light, and translucent is lighter than light so maybe you looked at the wrong time?? Other then that medium light is not almost the same, its little darker then light but then agian its lighter than medium. So its in the middle, this color is more of a mixture color as if you were in between the same colors for your skin.

Answer:
Fairly Medium isn't the same because you were using a neutral undertone and this one has a pink undertone. Medium Beige would probably be the closest to the one you were using. Go to a store that sells it and have them put some on your face in this shade.

Well, yes and no, becuase I dont really nesseary put too much on but if i do you have to use the right cleanser to get it off. I use their make up wipes to get all the access off, and then I use Orgins (another face/beauty company) face wash which is called, Checks and Balances. :)

Answer:
Hahaha, alright, alright, to be honest, I wouldnt do either. Usually this foundation comes with a pad to apply on your face but if you dont want to use it then I suggest to go buy a brush from them to apply to your face so it can be even and perfect. If you just use your finger, bacteria will go on your face and clog your pores. And a cotton ball wouldnt really apply very well, and it wastes more of your product. So I highly suggest you getting proper tools for your product so it can be properly and easyily applied. I hoped I helped!! :)

Answer:
Honestly the best way to apply in my opinion is with a dense flat top brush. I personally love the sigma f80 flat top kabuki... That's what I use and I get so many compliments that my skin looks natural and flawless... If your going to use such a great foundation you might as well get the best result by using a good brush. Bare minerals has their READY Precision Face Brush that works great also... Hope this helps... I probably wouldn't use a cotton ball though

Answer:
The only successful way to apply this makeup, since really it's a compact powder, is to use the precision face brush. There's a great video on the foundation's page that shows you how to tap and then apply in long strokes, and it results in AMAZING coverage. The way the foundation is made there's just not really a good way to get around using it or a kabuki brush. I know it's a little pricey but it is SO worth it and you never have to buy it again-- this coming from someone who doesn't have very many pennies to spare! Hope this helps!

Answer:
I think a brush is needed, a cotton ball or your fingers will just put the product in one spot. This foundation blends so nicely into the skin, but it won't without a brush in my opinion. I left my Precision Face Brush at my vacation home, and now use a big fluffy brush, or a mini kabuki, and get a nice medium coverage.

My Rosacea prone areas seem to get blotchy and the foundation doesn't cover well (nose and cheeks) Is my foundation too light?, am I not blending enough? It doesn't do it when I apply a very light application but I need to apply more for the coverage. The more I apply the worse it gets

With me, a really good moisturizer before I put the base on has done wonders for this. If the more you out on, the more bothersome it is, you could also probably stand to have a darker foundation. I'm fair but had to go from R170 to R250. Hope this helps ya!
