Love it
I've been using BM for several years now. I have oily acne prone skin even in my 30s. This is great to take the shine off, keep hiding those tiny imperfections and I haven't had the problem others have of it breaking in my purse. I would definitely buy again.

Love the product but breaks to easy
I have been using the loose mineral veil for years and love that it now comes in a compact, used it only a few times though. Went to se to touch up and went into my bag only to find that it had broken. I had not dropped or bumped my purse. Probably will not purchase again and will just have to lug around the loose powder.

I love it
I purchased this 2 weeks ago. My skin is very oily and although using the foundation and all over face cover, by midday I can start to notice a little shin on my nose. I love that I can buff the touch up veil lightly over my skin and voila, it's like I just made up my face all over again, but with just a quick brush of veil it's a new me!!! I love this.

Mineral Veil (solid)
I have loved mineral veil since it was first introduced and I always use it as a final step in my make up routine. I was so happy when the solid in the compact came out because carrying loose mineral veil can be messy, however, I've bought 3 solids now and each one breaks apart in the compact within a few days of my using it. At first I thought that maybe I had knocked it, so I bought another and I've been very careful but they just keep breaking apart. Not so sure that I'll buy another as I may as well carry the loose in the container. I still love mineral veil though, it's genius.

Love it! Better then the loose Mineral Veil!
I recently took a chance with this compact, hoping to replace the loose mineral veil, which I've always loved... Recently, with the loose mineral veil I've noticed that I need a couple touch ups during the day to get rid of the "shine"... Not wanting to deal with the loose powder multiple times/day, I decided to give this a try... I LOVE IT!!! Not only is it more convenient, but I swear it lasts longer then the loose mineral veil.. I barely have to touch up to remove the "shine" now... I use my full coverage brush to apply (same brush I used with the mineral veil)... I think this product is going to be a permanent replacement for the loose powder.. So excited that I gave it a try!

This is my go to finishing powder/oil absorber.
It really is one of my most favorite products, because my skin went through a really oily phase for about 6 months, and this became so handy to get from my person, open up, look at y face and barely even tap my face with the pad and my face was shine free for the rest of the day. I love it, and I don't think I could ever find anything better or more handy for the right price like this one. Highly recommend. Lasts for a very long time too because you hardly use any for your whole face, doesn't take much!

A Must Have!
This veil is necessary for the everyday routine and for touch ups. Works great with a brush or the pad that it comes with (which you can easily wash by the way). I found greater value in this touch up veil when I recently started using the new BE correcting concealer. After doing my "micro concealing" with my precision concealing brush, to avoid my concealing from being blended away or brushed away with other products like blush or radiance, I "seal" in my concealing with a PAT, not a brushing on, of some touch up veil over the concealed blemish. Take it from someone who is obsessed with covering up any little imperfections...this conceals like a CHARM when used with the correcting concealer! When not obsessed with covering up imperfections, this is a great tool to quickly get rid of shine throughout the day.

BM Powder User Switched To Ready, need help!:)
I've been a Bare Minerals user for almost 5 years and am in my mid twenties. I recently switched over to Ready. When I began wearing BM I was 20yro and a Medium shade in the powder. Now I am Fair to Fairly Medium in Powder and just switched to Ready to try, where I am a MEdium. I bought the tinted Mineral Veil Ready, thinking that it would help my Medium Ready transition to my summer color better, but I am unsure how to use it!
Stroke it across my face like I do the Ready Foundation? Buff it? I guess I find it odd to use because I am used to the powdered mineral veil.
Any suggestions would be great.
I've also been to a BM boutique and while powder BM used to look AMAZING on me, as I've gotten older (only 25), it seems to look just nasty on me. So far the Ready is looking alright, but both products seem to highlight my acne scars on my face, and the colors dont blend in as well with my skin tone anymore. I LOVE BM and want a solution with this product, rather than switch to something that makes my sensitive skin break out. -- Does anyone have suggestions? :)
Thank You!!!

I like it
I have this in the original, untinted loose powder. In the READY Veil, I purchased the tinted. In the Original Foundation I use Golden Dark and in the READY foundation, I use Warm Deep (the Golden Dark in the READY foundation runs too light for me so I had to go a shade up). The original loose powder veil and the tinted READY veil both work for me. I don't touch up during the day because not only am I so busy, but touching up in between in my line of work is barely an option unless I am able to leave work for lunch lol. I like how I look so clean, vibrant and set for the day. I use the veil as my last step in my makeup process. Not sure why this has low ratings, but I think it's wonderful. The key is not to glob this stuff on your face. If you do, then yeah...you're going to look cakey and unbalanced. If you use a little at a time and blend it out (swirl tap buff for the original powder and tap and buff for the READY veil) then you won't have a problem.

Ok product...but not purse friendly!
I like having mineral veil in "solid" form to carry around and touch up with, but I only got to use it a handful of times before it was broken into dozens of pieces. I carried this compact inside a Coach wristlet inside my purse. My purse fell off table, but nothing inside fell out. Well, a few days later I went to use the compact and the mineral veil was in pieces and got all over everything. Complete waste of money. Its intention is to be carried with you, but it can't withstand everyday life. Purses are going to get knocked around and I went the extra step of carrying it a heavy duty makeup bag also. I'd rather use $5 drugstore powders and if they happen to break, at least I won't feel like I threw $25 out the window.
