Description: pink nectar glow

bareMinerals READY® Luminizer enhances your complexion with a radiant, lit-from-within glow. Powered by the proprietary SeaNutritive MineralTM Complex, this silky smooth formula delivers incredible skin-nourishing benefits.

Formulated without parabens, binders, fillers or harsh chemicals.

Size: 10 g / 0.3 Oz.

  • Sweep over cheeks, eyes, forehead and bridge of nose for beautiful luminescence.

Pro Tip:

  • The Angled Face Brush is great for any face area and the Blending Brush is great for a more precise application. Both have full brush heads that won't deposit too much Luminizer onto the skin.
  • Sweep the Luminizer on any prominent areas of the face you want to highlight: cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of the nose.

These techniques will help anyone looking for a glow.

READY Luminizer - null 4.4 5 20 20
A Keeper! I am in LOVE with this product. Another reviewer said this was a limited edition... I hope that is not true!!! The Love Affair provides the perfect color and perfect amount of shimmer. I have also used the mineral viel in Illuminating, but I like this READY product better; it has a bit of color and is less sparkly. I use it on my cheeks and even my eyelids. It really does light up my skin! BE, please please keep this product! I am already a devoted fan! 05/05/2013
Hope This Isn't Going Away Forever! As a Professional Makeup Artist, I do a LOT of research on product and tools, because no matter how long you've been doing this or how naturally talented you may be, you will ONLY be as good as the product and tools you use. Rembrandt wouldn't have used crayolas, if you see what I mean! LOL In my 27 years of being a MUA, I've done makeups for everything you can imagine, but my favorites are doing makeovers, teaching young women who are just beginning to wear makeup, and doing makeup for brides/bridal parties, proms, etc. I love helping women look their very best, and preferably on a budget that won't break their bank account! Seeing my clients light up with confidence from the inside because they are so pleased with the outside is the best part of what I do! Having said ALL of that...apologies are in order up front, since I do run on and WILL run on, but I like people to know where I'm coming from when I review product online & I always try to offer a few tips and tricks when possible...so, let's get to this product: READY Luminizer (both shades).... I enjoy working with mineral makeups, and feel that BE offers the best Mineral bang for the buck in both quality & quantity on the market today. They don't skimp on product & it lasts a long while, because a little always goes a long way! The two shades can work for just about anyone, although since it isn't meant to be a highly opaque product like a blush, women with darker skin tones may need to build these a little more than vampire pale gals like myself! I use both of these shades on clients and on myself...they give a lovely natural flush of color. I'm 47, so for me I'm not looking for something with sparkle in it, as that's only going to call attention to my "laugh lines", etc. A light shimmer, on the other hand, works for just about everyone. It adds a healthy glow, without shine, when applied properly. I've seen some gals rate this down a heart or two, saying that this is not pigmented enough, that the color payoff is poor, or that it doesn't wear long for them. The word "Luminizer" means "to illuminate", "to light up". While this does work as a blush, and even as eye shadow, you'll have to build the coverage....especially for someone with a medium to dark skintone. One of the best uses for this product if you're thinking blush or shadow, is for a young lady who is just starting to wear makeup. I don't feel that you could choose any more wisely than this product for them. It will give them a lovely natural look that is more befitting their age group. *IMHO!* It's very forgiving, since it is difficult to overdo it accidentally with this. Back to those who are looking for more color payoff, it isn't the product that is the problem...this is a highlighting type of product not meant as a blush, unless you build it up, but...I can't emphasize preparation of the skin enough! Primers for the face and eyes are the greatest thing to happen in makeup in years! Like any artist, the preparation of our canvas is essential. Can't stress that enough! Moisturize & Prime before you put any makeup on, and you'll be amazed at how much smoother everything lays down and blends, from concealers and foundations of all types, to shadows, blushers, contouring/highlighting, and lip color. Also, I encourage you to invest in the best set of brushes that you can afford...BE brushes are quite good imo! So, what is it exactly that we use this for? I use it for the highlighting part of facial contouring, which is all about drawing attention to our strong points and downplaying flaws. Remember that any contouring product, which is technically what a highlighter is, particularly one that has a shimmer or glow when applied, is going to call attention to wherever you put them. You would not use this, for instance, in the hollows of your cheeks...rather you'd apply them on or just above the apples of your cheeks...smile at yourself to see the apples, and pucker up like a fish to find the hollows of your cheeks. A light dusting of this product over the apple, as a highlight over and near your blush is where you want to aim, or if you're using this as your blush you'll want to stay in the apple and build/blend until you get the color payout you're looking for. This is also quite lovely when dusted lightly across the top of the forehead, at the temples, down the nose, and even a touch on your chin, to get that "I just spent the day at the beach" glow. They also work very well as a natural looking highlight shadow for just under the brow, as well as a lovely eyelid base. One other thing you can do with this is to apply a nude lip pencil, followed by a nude lipcolor, then use a separate dry brush to dab a little in the middle of your lower lip and very carefully at the cupid's bow on top, to lend a little extra fullness of lips to your look. I've used these with a wet brush on the eyelids then buffed it out, and the effect is quite stunning! ***PRIME & CONCEAL FIRST! LOL!*** Last but not least, keep the look NATURAL...contour and highlight should not call drastic attention to themselves. To that end I will give you the best 2 sets of three words of advice anyone can give you when it comes to makeup....Less Is More....and...Blend Blend Blend! **The picture below shows me wearing READY Luminizer swept lightly over the tops of the apples of my cheeks, and on my nose. I am purposely wearing all BE makeups, including moisturizer and primers for face and eyes in this photo...I prefer the matte loose mineral foundation, custom blended shade of light and fairly light...told you I was vampire pale!** Grab a couple of each shade before these are gone! The price is very reasonable! Then drop one into your purse with a nice fluffy brush for quick touchups, or to add an extra little bit of oomph before you meet your pals for an appletinis and get ready to knock em dead!!! :) 05/05/2013
Wonderful Color I love products with pink undertone, but my skin has yellow ones. It's hard to find good shades in most products. I tried several several luminators, but they were too glittery or didn't do anything. I have the Love Affar which is a beautiful pink with golden glow. It looks fabulous on me. I've applied it in several different ways, as other posters have described, and they are all flattering. Like others, I hope this becomes a regular part of the product line. 04/30/2013
READY Luminizer i love to use this product for a subtle glow for everyday wear or for a night on the town 04/08/2013
My FAVORITE BE product! BE's best kept secret! I have been using BE products for years, and while I love almost everything, this is by far my favorite product! I got it around the holidays thinking that I would be able to purchase another compact at any time. I visited my local store this evening, only to find out that this is a limited edition! I am so disappointed. BE please bring back this luminizer! It is absolutely gorgeous. I get compliments all the time and my husband says it looks like I have a natural glow from the inside out. It's amazing! 03/01/2013
A hint of awesomeness! As other reviews have stated, DON’T put this all over your face. Otherwise you will look shiny and possibly a little silly. I have used liquid highlighters, but I am totally in love with this in The Love Affair shade. I have found that with or without primer, this stays on pretty well. I use the handy Buki brush and just do one light lap around and sweep it under my eyes on the top of my cheek bone and make an L shape up the corners of my eyes. I do tap the brush into it and run a line down my nose and just a dab on my chin. I kind of avoid putting it on my forehead where the sun would naturally hit, because I feel you can see the powder and I don’t want to look like I’m obviously wearing makeup. I think The Love Affair is perfect for my Fairly Medium (READY foundation) skin tone without looking pale. I feel the Illuminating Mineral Veil was a little too white for me, and The Love Affair is in a more manageable format for getting a small amount on the brush. Now that I have The Love Affair, I don’t really go to my Illuminating Mineral Veil anymore because this product is just so much better! 02/25/2013
Nice but disappointing It does subtly illuminize, but I was disappointed in the color, which I expected to be a little pinker than it is. Also, I wore it for one day, and my face began to mildly break out, which has never happened before with any of Bare Escentual products. I have used mineral makeup for years and years and still highly recommend them, and will continue to buy from you----just not this product! 02/16/2013
The best highlighter ever! I needed a good highlighter that didnt have tons of white shimmer and glitter in it so i got this and I absolutely love it! It gives such a natural glow! People tell me I'm glowing all the time and ask me what skin care I use. Funny thing is, I work for a makeup line that is not BE and I ONLY USE BE ! LOVE IT! 02/08/2013
Beautiful glow i absolutely love this product! I get compliments all the time. I am sad this is a limited edition, i really wish they would keep this product. for all you women out there- using THIS product, is how you achieve that 'glow'. 01/28/2013
Must Have I admit I watch a little too much What Not To Wear, and I always see Carmindy sweeping a light iridescent eyeshadow over the brow bone, down onto the temple, and under the eye, and that is exactly what I do with this product. I love it! My eyes are my favorite part of my face, and I seriously hope this powder has a permanent place in the product line. I use the "well rested" brush to sweep this on in the eye area. Then, I take the small concealer brush and tap it into the product, and I press it into the cupid's bow portion of the lip. It looks beautiful! 01/19/2013

Both choices will have a golden overtone to it, though The Love Affair has a very subtle pink tone to it.

Go to BareEscentuals.com. At the top, you will see "Learn". Hover your mouse over it and then you will see "Tips and Advice". Under that you will see "Foundation Finder". Click that and get matched. Still not sure? Email Customer Service to contact a representative to help you. I actually submited a profile picture of my face, no makeup and in good lighting so that I could be matched properly. I had been using the wrong shade for years. I thought I was Medium Deep when really I was Golden Dark in the original powder and Warm Deep in the READY foundation. All because I submitted my picture to get matched properly. I haven't looked back since. Hope this helps.

I know what you mean. I've been searching for that dewy finish too! It has a slightly illuminizing effect, but I didn't find it to have the radiance I had hoped for. I am almost 58 years old, so perhaps it works better on younger skin, even though I still have good skin and no wrinkles yet!

I use this in addition to radiance and apply radiance on more of my face since it is so subtle. I would say this is definitely more noticeable than the radiance, so I would be prepared to only use a very small amount in very strategic places for this product. It's likely to just make you look "pink" or "yellow" all over, otherwise. That being said, my skin is very, very fair, and so the product may just look that strong on my skin tone. I use Golden Fair foundation and Pure Radiance... I hope I helped some :)

I believe these do seperate things for your complexion. The concealer is more a hiding some little imperfections and the radiance collection is for some highlighting or adding a glow. I do use just the Concealer for Weekend Less Makeup wear.
I was on the fence about the Secret Radiance and The Love Affair Ready Luminizer...just got the luminizer and I really like it so far.

If you're looking for a dewy look, try out Illimasqua Satin Primer. This product you could layer up to look glowy and never get cakey, I'm excited to try the two together.
