Q & A

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Confession!! This blush really is the perfect color. I'm fair skinned and it's perfect for my skin. I can make it look dramatic or natural!!! Well worth the money spent! 10/29/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by natural looking blush I have been a Bare Minerals customer since BM began and I have a lot of products. This blush, along with the READY foundation is wonderful. Gives you a natural finish and coverage last a whole day without caking. I actually feel my skin looks better after I remove my make-up. I was considering trying the new complact foundation but after reading the reviews from customers I changed my mind. I found that many customers feel the way I do about this product. I hope BM never stops making it! 10/11/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Natural color - looks like it comes from within! I have very pale skin and blush never looks good on me until "The One" color of this Ready Blush. I use a tiny amount just on the apples of my cheeks, and then use the Ready - The Skinny Dip as my bronzer. 09/29/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Secret's Out The violet shade looks surprisingly amazing and glowy on natural redheads with cool undertones. I just wanted to share that because would expect the peachy or coral ones to be the best, but they are just ok, not particularly flattering. 09/02/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Natural Beauty I have a medium/tan complexion. I've been using Faux Pas for a couple of years but was looking for something more natural, especially during the summer. The Secret's Out does the trick! Very subtle and natural but pretty. 08/15/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it Goes on smoothly, looks natural. Store clerk helped me find the right shade for my coloring. Tried the included brush, which was tiny, then quickly purchased an Angled Face Brush based on other online reviews. Very pleased with results. 07/24/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth every penny, and then some! This blush is amazing! I purchased this for my daughter to use for her cosplay, and it was perfect for her. This was the perfect shade for that subtle hint of color, without making it obvious that she was wearing any. This blush went on so easily and blended beautifully. I only have to use a little bit each time, so it is a wonderful value. We can't wait to try other colors as well. 05/29/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The One really is the one! I love this blush! It is one of the most natural yet flattering blushes I have ever used! It goes on smoothly and will last all day! 03/28/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Blushes I really enjoy these ready blushes. They are very pigmented and blend well. They also last all day in my skin. I own The One, The Confession, and The Aphrodisiac. All are beautiful colors. I like these just as much as the several loose blushes I own, but these are more convenient. 01/19/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect! I was looking for a natural looking blush for my skin tone and the Ready Blush in Aphrodisiac is absolutely perfect. It gives my cheeks a slight hint of color, but looks really natural. Love it! 11/18/2015

I really enjoy the all-over color in "Glee" and have been using it as a blush, but I would to purchase a similar color in a Ready Blush. Any suggestions? I am fair-skinned and looking for an everyday color.

Answer:
This isn't going to be matte. It's a cream. I have oily skin but it looks like a glow. Not too shinny

I loved the Ready Blush in The Whisper, but it appears to have been discontinued. Can anyone recommend a comparable color? The One was too pink for me. I am 46 years old and just want a nice hint of color, not too much or too young. I have light-medium skin tone; use Medium Original Foundation. Also, I am considering The Aphrodisiac for a change. Thoughts? Thank you BE fans!!

Answer:
Aphrodisiac is beautiful on such a huge range of skin tones, it's more of a peachy/coral tone so it still has a bit of pink to it which helps brighten and liven up the skin. Although I'm not familiar with The Whisper, I would suggest maybe trying golden gate blush. It's not in the ready formula but it's more of a natural golden rose tone which will complement your neutral skin tone.

Do you use it like the Ready foundation and "tap" or pull the brush across like I've done for drugstore blush?

Answer:
You should treat it just like the ready foundation. Just put the flat part of the brush into the foundation, then wiggle the brush and apply. There are videos on the application process if you are having trouble!

Answer:
I pull the brush across and I just do a little at a time until I get the color I want. I think it works best that way

This blush sounds amazing! But I don't know which color to pick haha. Could someone please give me some advice? I have extremely fair skin and a cool complexion. My hair is ash-blonde and I have blue eyes. I like my makeup to be sheer and natural. Thanks for your time!

Answer:
What type of foundation do you use? Liquid, cream, mineral? That might affect what type of products you can wear on your skin.
I even used ELF a very cheap drugstore brand to contour and apply blush, strangely that never gave me a rash or broke me out. Except maybe this blush has some ingredient in it that gives rashes... Rarely.
If you have trouble with blushes, try the almay one, the one I use is nyx's blushes and elf.

Answer:
Comparing the two blushes I noticed that the READY Blush has a lot more ingredients than the loose powder blush. I don't know if this is very helpful, but I would say that maybe you're allergic to one or more of the ingredients in the READY Blush. My best guess would be to go to a pharmacist or your doctor to have the rash checked out if you already haven't. I hope this was helpful at least in some way!
