I have so many of the different types mineral veils it's not even funny. They all have their uses and work well!
I love to sweep this across my lids. It's a sheer, amber nude color. It looks pretty without being to sparkly. Also, you can dip a lip balm in it to wear it as a lipcolor.
Great as a mix in w/ your mineral veil
Backstory- I purchased a limited edition tinted illuminating mineral veil - and unfortunately am now addicted to using ONLY that vs. any other highlighter or veil.
Well, I ordered bare radiance in hopes of it being a good highlighter, which it is - nice natural and not very colored. I just hate the extra step plus dont feel the need for THAT much highlighter on a regular basis.
But to my surprise, I got the amazing idea to mix the bare radiance in to my tinted mineral veil and VOILA - tinted illuminating mineral veil = two steps in one. In love. ... The benefits of the mineral veil and a highlighter in one. *SQUEE!*
I would purchase this again JUST to make more of my tinted illuminating veil mixture.
I'm a fair skinned gal and during the Summer, I love how this gives me just an extra little touch of color without looking fake or orange. During the colder months I switch to Pure Radiance which still gives a hint of color, but it's more subtle and peachy rather than sun kissed.
I apply it lightly over my foundation prior to blush so I don't get too much color on my cheeks. I use light even strokes to apply it in the shape of the number 3 or in reverse for the other side of the face. I start at my inner brow bone by my nose and gently sweep it around the top of my brow and down following my cheekbone and then back around and down along my jawline toward my chin. Then I sweep a tiny bit down the length of my nose and across the tip for that look like you just came in from being outdoors.
This particular Radiance isn't sparkly like some of the others so it's very versatile. Hope this helps!
yes yes yes
Such a beautiful glow! I don't want a lot of shimmer ...I dust this very lightly over my (Fairly Light) Matte Foundation & it's perfect! Gives such a fresh healthy glow. Great for a subtle blush ...or an 'eyeshadow' too, for a finished but dressed down look.
I've been using Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals products since they were just a couple of little botique stores in the San Fancisco Bay Area in the late 1980's. So, I have just a bit of experience with this stuff.
Since it came out, the Bare Radiance color is one that I cannot go without (along with bisque and a few others# that I use every day. #yes, every day) The Warmth and Warm Radiance type shades turn orange on me and some the other more pink ones like Rose Radiance are just too pink. It's a perfect neutral shade for me and I would think for many others too. I use it year-round as a blush and also as a defining highlighter on certain pars of the face like brow bone, chin, nose, etc..
I will not be without this, I apply all over after using my foundation and in any season it just finishes my face. In winter it adds a healthy glow , in summer it highlights my cheekbones. When I don't want to fuss with eye makeup I use this on my lids with mascara and it makes my green eyes pop. Love it!
This makes your face glow and not an unnatural glow. Its like you are glowing yourself, I think someone else wrote that it looks like you have an angelic glow. Its great!
I have all the Radiance's and this is one of my favs! I use it in the winter when I want to add color to my face.
This is the best! You can do a thin layer or layer it a lot as opposed to layering warmth which brings the orange. It adds that healthy glow from the light shimmer/tint. and the soothing brownish color is so natural it's wonderful. yay thank you love this product!! :)
