Q & A
Weather Everything Liner Sealer 4.6 5 20 20
not user friendly to combine products I believe the product is basically good, but putting the liquid and the powder into that tiny container without getting the black powder everywhere, and it is very difficult to clean off the counter or what ever it lands on, is a trick that I cannot master. I had to find another way to mix the product so the black powder did not end up everywhere. Using something that is disposable to mix the product works fairly well. I use a small 3 ounce disposable dixie cup. A lot of product is wasted as I have to throw away the dixie cup every day. I won't buy this again with the mixing mess it causes. 01/19/2013
This is just FANTASTIC! My daughter got me started with Bare Minerals. She had no idea what she started. I love the products, But Weather Everything is the best thing since 'bread and butter'! I cannot find mine and definitely feel lost without it. I won't wear any liner until I buy some more of Weather Everything. I hope that the negative response from 'Disappointed' in WI reads this post because if she has Weather Everything, she can use any of the BE shadows and create her own look/color. I change the color of my eyeliner quite often and even to match what I am wearing. Now to the store to buy mine. I like to browse the store at Pentagon Mall............Have a Merry Christmas with Bare Minerals! 12/09/2012
I LOVE this product SO much! Have used B.E. since the 90's,love the liner/eyeshadows. It's been part of my life. We'd go dancing, clubbing, laughing, enjoying ourselves. I was talking with a nice man when my friends came up saying it was time to go. He offered his card and number and we said goodbye. Walking down the stairs to the exit, we passed a wall mirror and I glanced up, then stopped in horror! My black Onyx liner had run and formed black streaks under the lashes of both eyes! I RAN for the parking, trying to rub the smears off! Needless to say, I was TOO embarrassed to ever call the gentleman back! Remembering that, and after many failed trials, when this came out I celebrated and bought it and have NEVER gone without! It works SO well, for a FEW different things! If it was ever discontinued I would have to go undercover and get the formula! LOL! It has SAVED me from social embarrassment, helped me in family funerals I struggled through, kept me pretty at weddings, stayed on at my grandbabies births and playing at family beachtime, birthdays, so many times in life. THANK YOU! You have no idea how much this little product added to and aided in moments in my life. It may seem something small and unimportant, but sometimes you never know the importance of that something small or what it can mean to someone and their life. It has always been there when I needed it, never failed me when it was important. I am so happy to have this great product for all the moments of my life. 10/31/2012
AWESOME LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!! 10/24/2012
Pretty Seriously Amazing Weather Everything Liner Sealer truly does what it says it will and more. I like bM's Curl and Lengthen mascara but it doesn't come in a waterproof formula, so I add a little Weather Everything directly into the mascara tube and mix it. Now my eyeliner AND mascara are ready for any weather. I also love it that my eyeliner and mascara still wash off so easily with the bareMinerals cleansers. 10/03/2012
Disappointed I was very disappointed with this product. I don't tend to wear a lot of eye makeup because it doesn't stay in place. I usually line my upper lashes to add some thickness. Now don't get me wrong, this stuff was waterproof but when I applied my liner it was very harsh looking. It looked awful! I can't seem to get a "softer" look with it. 08/05/2012
My makeup must have!!! I have struggled forever with eyeliner smudging! This is the best product EVER!!! I have told all my friends and even wrote posts on facebook about it!! If you are considering this BUY IT!!!! It will last forever because it only takes a drop or two.=) I can't say enough about this stuff!! 07/17/2012
This stuff is THE BEST! I was skeptical because every eyeliner I wear or have tried will live a mark on top of my eyelid no matter how I try to set it. This stuff works brilliantly! No smears, no smudges, removes easily with gentle cleanser or eye makeup remover. My eyes can get easily teary too from allergies and my liner stays in tact! All. Day. Long. Love love love it. So easy to use too! I used to use just tap water mixed with BE's (loose/pot) eye shadows - now that I have this I will NEVER use water again. Thanks BE for yet another terrific product! 06/28/2012
I like this a lot. I read another review that said that one drop is good for both eyes and I am so glad that I read that review before I tried this product. You have to make sure that if you mess up, you hurry up and fix it because once this dries, it does not go anywhere. I would not suggest using this in your inner rim either because it will get everywhere while you are trying to apply it. I also really like the compartments for more than one color. The only downside that I can see from this is that you should really want a bright and bold color because you would be "foiling" instead of have a soft color. This is a great buy though. 06/04/2012
Superfantastic The best invention since sliced bread. Have struggled forever with eye liner to get it to last all day and BE has solved the problem. Put it on first thing in the morning and it doesn't disappear until I remove it in the evening. Have finally found a solution to a problem many have and I have no problem recommending it to others. Especially nice is the fact that I am not limited to the color I generally use (black). Definitely urge others to give it a try. Two thumbs up to BE for this product. 05/17/2012

I use BE liner shadows already, wet, but noticed that my cheeks will get speckled with liner that has flaked off. Which then I try to wipe off and all that does is smear lines all over my face. Does this sealer prevent that?

This product won't cause flaking. Personally, I usually like to keep wetness off of my eyes. I use an angled liner brush or the double ended precision brush (the point end) to put on my regular eye shadows. The READY line is great for that. You tap into the product and apply it. You get beautiful, natural and halfway smoky eye effect if you decide to bump up the application a bit. Have you used the Eyelid Primer? It's a small tube, but lasts and lasts because you don't need much of it to get the results you need. It really makes the colors on your eyes pop.

The only way that I have ever seen this flake has been when I excessively rub my eyes. (I know I'm not supposed to) Other than that, with this product the eyeliner stays put until you remove it.

My makeup routine is the following:

Clean Face
Primer
Conceal
Powder Foundation
Eye Primer
Eye Shadow
Blush
Lip gloss or balm
Mineral Veil

I rarely use eyeliner anymore because I have dark circles under my eyes and adding more black to the area I feel will probably bring out my darkness more. I like to use eye shadows to line my eyes. It's softer, easier to remove at the end of the day, more natural and lightens my face up. I do still like eyeliner, because eyeliner will make your eyes appear a little smaller. I have big eyes, so I can't over due it on the eyeshadow so I have to use my colors sparingly to make sure it blends well and not over due it.

Use the eyelid primer first and then use this product. I don't know about anyone else but I apply my shadow before I ever apply any liner.

Waterline is pretty difficult. I would try to stick with making sure that you get it to your lash line which is easier to make even and make a clean application.

I haven't been able to get it to work on the water line. That doesn't mean it won't, I just need to play with it a little more.

I would not suggest using this on your inner rim unless you are really good at keeping it in the one spot. I tried it and I don't know if it is because I'm not very good at using the brush (which I don't think is the case) or if the product just went everywhere because my eye was watering. When I did it, it got everywhere..all over my eyes and under the inner rim and I just had a big mess. I would just try it to see if you would have any luck but be really careful about staying on the line.

I'll be honest. I've tried mixing my all over face color with balm. I even contacted customer service to see if I was doing it right. I was doing it kinda right, so once I tweaked what I did wrong....I still didn't get the results I was looking for. I would take the all over face color and mix it really well with my balm I was using at the time and it would just be a small tiny itsy bitsy bit of the all over face color and it would look like little bits of clumped Warmth on my lips. I didn't like it and tried it several times. I feel better just used the balms, lipsticks and glosses as is and use the All Over Face Color to be used on my face only.

YES! But you have to use a brush to apply and make sure you don't make "mistakes" ! I would mix a little powder in a little container and add a little aloe or glycerine or even a little vitamin E to it just so it is not so dry with just the liquid and powder. I did use a lip pencil to outline to help me "stay in the lines" first, then after mixing the blush and moisture and Weather liquid, I would use the lipbrush and paint it on. You can also just use the liquid and blush and then use a balm on your lips after instead of mixing it in the mix, cause sometimes the moisture won't mix right or it might apply streaky. So if you are just trying it the first time, I might just mix the blush and the weather everything. Just brush it on and if it feels a little dry, then just apply balm. You could also try using just water and blush first too to see how you like it and how it feels. Good luck!

I haven't tried mixing it for a lip stain but I would suggest for you to just try it because with BE you can use everything just about any way you can think of. I know I used one of the eye shadows as a lip color and it looked amazing.

Witchhazel is a good cleaning astringent. I wouldn't use Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide since those are solutions that are stronger and usually are used for common cuts and wounds. You can find Witch Hazel at drug stores usually or you can check local stores that carry facial cleaning products. I use Witch hazel a lot to clean my daughter's ears, my ears or my face sometimes if I'm out of the usual facial cleaning products I use.

Right after you are done applying this stuff to wherever, you should rinse it out with water. I usually just scrub it with my fingers and it comes off fine.

I've found that baby oil from any drug store does an excellent job cutting through the dried-out product. It's what I soak my brushes in to clean them after using them, too.

Do I have to mix the sealer with the eyeshadow powder to use? Do I add it after I apply the eyeliner? How do I apply it...with my finger or do I use a brush? If I use a brush it takes the shadow powder off. I am confused.

You could even perhaps use a little of the Eye Primer, blend it out with an angled eye shadow brush or the double ended precision brush and then apply your liner or color. Primer helps colors pop and increases staying power throughout the day.

Mix the weather everything with your eyeshadow powder then apply with eyeliner brush after you mix. If you use the big and bright eyeliner pencils, apply pencil color first then apply weather everything on top with an eyeliner brush.

A:
The way to use the Weather Everything Eyeliner Sealer is to open one slot in the little clear mixing case provided in the kit, put in 2 drops of the solution, then add in a small amount of the eyeshadow you desire to make into an eyeliner into that slot with the solution. Take an eyeliner brush & use it to mix together the solution and eyeshadow into an even, paint-like liquid. You may need to add more eyeshadow powder or the sealer solution depending on what consistency you want the eyeliner to be. Then apply the liquid you've created with the eyeliner brush. Don't use your finger, as it would only smudge anything you'd previously applied on your eye. I hope that helps.

Use the pencil first and then use the same pencil, or a liner brush, to apply the sealer over your lined eye to seal in your look.
