The Lip Quickie Collection Modern Glamour
I have some of the Moxie lipsticks, but I find that these are actually better! I prefer the smaller applicator and the way it looks a bit dewy. I find that the Moxie lipsticks can seem kind of painted on, but these blend much more nicely especially if you have dryer lips, like me. (so hydrating and smooth!)
The colors are absolutely amazing as well! My favourite one is Blush because I always have trouble finding nude shades that don't wash me out, and this went above and beyond! It looks pretty and bright and summery. I honestly don't know how they did it! Truffle seems very similar to Blush when you look at the tube, but are completely different on. It's definitely more of a clay colour that gave a very professional and serious feel. It was probably my least favourite out of the bunch, but that's just because I'm not a fan of looking too serious... The Mulberry color is pink. It's like a bright pinker version of mauve, so it doesn't look loud or anything, just warm and inviting and gives me a little more color. The Crimson one is a bright red verging on a hot pink. It's not like a fire-engine red, so it's more wearable, but still very eye-catching. I haven't had a chance to wear it much because it's definitely a spring/summer color to me. The last color is a very dark color called Bordeaux. It looks dark in the tube and it looks less dark on, but it is still very much a winter color. Being winter right now, this is the color I have used the most out of the bunch and I just take care to not put too much on and then just blend it in to get the right color. If I just paint it on, it's too dark for normal usage (but that might just be my own preference since I like warmer colors).
All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase and recommend it for a good wide variety of fun shades to play with all year round. The quality of the lipstick is also amazing and it is quickly becoming my favourite lip product, so I hope they add it to the BE line!
(The clutch is adorable, a good size, and well made as well.)
