Nice This brush works great dose a wonderful job, cannot be without it. 01/27/2012

My go to shadow brush. This is the brush that I use on a daily basis for all over lid coverage. I think it puts on the color nicely and it doesn't let the color come off around or under the eyes. If you want to purchase one brush for eye shadows-this is the one you should use. 05/20/2011

I use this brush when I want to have a darker, deeper, and more opaque application of an eye shadow. It is great for applying light colored shadows so they will be more noticeable on my FAIR skin, rather than just blending in with my foundation. 01/03/2011

Details:

Hey! I don't wear much eye makeup so I need the right tools. I got the contour shadow brush in the mini brush kit and it is good but I want something that isn't quite as big. What would best suit my needs of precision and medium color coverage out of the tapered shadow brush, wet/dry shadow brush, and heavenly eyeshadow brush? Thanks!

When using regular shadow:
wet/dry eyeshadow brush

When using my READY 2.0:
soft focus eyeshadow brush
double ended precision brush
soft focus shadow and liner brush

When using my READY 4.0:
eye defining brush - 1st color for my highlight (top left color)
soft focus shadow brush - 2nd color that goes all over the eyelid (top right color)
double ended precision brush - 3rd color that goes into the crease of the eyelid (bottom left color)
soft focus shadow and liner brush - I use the liner end to do my 4th color either or both the top lash line and/or the lower lash line.

I have dark circles so adding liner to my bottom lash is just going to make my eyes seem darker around that area, so I always try to keep it soft, natural and not overdone.

The tapered shadow brush would work (and you wouldn't need a lot of product with this brush to get medium coverage). I use this brush when I want lighter colors to show up better on my pale white skin. I have never used the wet/dry shadow brush but from the description it sounds like it could work for you as well. The heavenly shadow brush will give your lids very light and sheer color so this one is a "no" for medium coverage.

the wet/dry shadow brush, 100% it distributes and holdson to the color well so when you brush it on your eyes, the color doesnt go flying. it works well to get just a little into the crease, but not enough to make you look like a crazy person(:
when i use it, i press the brush into the powder, tap it off in the lid, then press it lightly to my eyelid until all the color on the brush is gone. then i blend with the same brush. if i need more i repeat the process. its a great investment!!
