Correcting Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 - null
I am the shade golden tan in the matte foundation and use the shade tan 2 in the correcting concealer. I use the product before applying my foundation to help cover up dark spots and blemishes. I use the product after applying my foundation to help cover up under eye circles. It conceals really well!
LOVE this concealer! I originally used the Well-Rested and returned it for this one. I'm so grateful I did, because this was exactly what I was looking for. I haven't had issues with creasing, but maybe it's because I use a concealer brush and only apply a small layer? At any rate, it works great for dark circles and acne cover-ups. Will definitely be buying this one again!
I love this product
I have used the well rested powered as well as the well rested cc eye primer. I liked both products and used them everyday for my dark circles. When this came out I wanted to try it and i love it as well. It does crease a little when i put too much but i just pat it out and it works for me. I got it a bit lighter than my skin because i wanted it as a brightener. I love it!
Covers acne marks and dark spots very well! Not great for for under the eyes since it settles in fine lines even when set with powder. Will buy again just because it works great on blemishes just wish it could help with the dark spots on under my eyes.
I use this to cover up a blemish here and there but usually under my eyes and on my upper lip and it lasts all day! my skin is so difficult to match and this really works perfectly with foundation; it brightens and lightens exactly where I want it to. Love it!
This is a great concealer and it lasts for several hours without touch ups. For the price, I think that the container SHOULD be bigger.
Not For the Fair Skinned
I bought my starter kit online and after a grueling two weeks, was so excited to see it in my mailbox! I open everything up and I'm excited to try it on, obviously struggling to figure out how to use it. I do everything as normal, wash, moisturize, prime, foundation, next is the moment of truth. I swipe my concealer brush into the little pot and start to cover up my dark spots and blemishes. It's slightly off color than my foundation but I figure no problem, finishing powder will fix it. I get done with my routine, hop into my car to go to work and take a glance in the mirror. Brown. My concealer is brown. I have brown spots on my face and even worse, under my eyes. Why?? Why in the world is it possible to have such a light shade of foundation yet the concealer matches not one bit? Worst of all is that I can't use any of my previous concealers because they no longer match my foundation. I love this stuff don't get me wrong, but the concealer shades make absolutely no sense to me. Can we go just a few shades lighter, Bare Escentuals, please??
A truly great concealer.
What a fabulous product the Correcting Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 - Light 1 is. This is an unabashed hit! Works like a charm. It has great staying power and even application. No fuss, no muss. Love it!
I love this stuff, and so does my mother who has aging skin and redness! It works so well for both of our skin types (20 something and 50 something!). Light 2 is great for my dark circles and chin discoloration, whereas Light 1 does wonders for my acne scarring.
Works Great for Rosacea and Scars
I have light to medium skin and have terrible rosacea redness. This stuff works quite well to cover it and stays on well. It's been a real struggle for me to find something that covers it. I use it on my cheeks on any red ares or spots and then I've been using the Matte Foundation Broad Spectrum all over my face. I finish with a dusting of mineral veil. All 3 products are needed to keep the red covered since I have oily skin. If I don't use the mineral veil the redness starts showing again much sooner.
I recently bought Prime Time and Ready Foundation. Ready has fuller coverage than the other foundation I was using. I'm still perfecting using it, but it does cover even better, it just looks more like I'm wearing makeup. I think I will put on less and buff more and see if that helps. I think Ready Foundation will be better to cover the rosacea with my routine.
