Correcting Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 - null 4.4 5 72 72
Bet concealer out there!! I am a makeup junky and have tried sooo many concealers a over the years, and this is BY FAR the best one I have ever used. It covers up dark spots and blemishes COMPLETELY without leaving a cakey layer on top. I put the concealer on before my BE Matte Foundation and it works wonders. So happy!! 12/19/2014
Wonderful concealer! I love this concealer. In the past I had never had much success with concealer but I love this one. I prefer to use the Mini Concealer Brush which came with a trial kit I bought over the Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush which I got in several other starter kits. I've never tried putting it on with my finger. The little compact is adorable too and has a great mirror inside. I like the material of these compacts/containers as they don't show the fingerprints & powders as easily as many of the larger ones in the Ready line. 12/09/2014
LOVE IT I got this product with the flawless complexion kit and I must say it is a MUST have. It conceals very well. 12/05/2014
Works Wonderful! I am so very happy with this product! I have never been able to apply concealer without it looking awful! No matter what I spent on other concealers and no matter the brands I have used, concealer has always been a downfall for me. However, this concealer it was as easy as 1, 2, 3! I am so happy and will continue to keep this product in my makeup case! :o) 11/04/2014
coverage like no other I am a 28 year old black woman with a very deep purplish birthmark under my eye. This birth mark is very similar in color and shape to a 'port-wine'stain' birth mark. My whole life I have tried every concealer under the sun to try and cover and blend in this birthmark. I decided to give Bare Minerals Dark 2 a try and the results are amazing-- the most coverage I have ever had and it blends in perfectly with my overall skin tone. On top of my concealer, I add a very light dusting of the 'skinny dip' bronzer and the result is absolutely luminous. I am definitely a Bare Minerals convert. 10/02/2014
Best concealer ever This concealer is the best! I use it over my foundation to cover any red spots, blemishes and scars. Coverage is great and it blends with my matte foundation perfectly. I tap a little mineral veil over the concealer to set and I'm ready for the day. 09/25/2014
Miracle concealer I have adult acne that has only gotten worse and worse during my pregnancy. This product is my saving grace! I use it under my BE READY foundation all over my face and it completely covers all of the throbbing redness. In fact, my skin FEELS better with this product on; I don't experience the throbbing I feel with no makeup on. I love the way my face looks when I use this concealer; I feel like it almost totally covers all of my acne problems (redness completely gone, just a few of the major bumps visible, scarring completely covered). I don't know what I would do without this product - it gives me confidence to know that when people are looking at me, they aren't staring at my horrible pregnancy acne. Thank you BE for a wonderful product and the confidence to feel good about how my skin looks. 09/01/2014
Best concealer so far! I love the versatility of this product! Not only does it work great as a concealer for blemishes and dark circles but it also can double as an on-the-go foundation or base for eyeshadows. As a woman of color I'm pleased that BE had shades to accommodate my skin tone. One downside of this product is that if you have oily skin you definitely must set it with a good powder to keep it in place throughout the day. Other than that this product never let's me down! 08/18/2014
BEST concealer I have sunspots on the high points of my cheeks and have spent more money than I care to count trying to find a concealer to hide them. Tried this 2 years ago and wont't leave home without it. I use it with the Shiseido foundation brush and it blends seamlessly. I also love using it to hide the dark circles under my eyes. 08/13/2014
Finally a concealer that works! I have been having a struggle finding a concealer that works and is my color, (I'm porcelain in the brightening foundation) and I have finally met my match (Light 1)! Not only does it cover blemishes perfectly especially during our favorite time of the month, it also seamlessly blends under eye circles. The creamy texture feels nice and light on the skin, as well! 07/23/2014

I have oily skin and I tried the bareSkin product but it didn't work due to my very oily skin no matter how much mineral veil I used. I'm back to using the original powder foundation but still would like a concealer other than the powder as I have a lot of acne scars.

I where your matte foundation in deepest dark N50 and I'm looking to find the right concealer. They say you should chose a concealer a little bit lighter than your foundation. So should I chose dark 2 or deep 2?

My skin can sometimes turn into an oil slick. I am considering purchasing either this concealer or the well rested eye brightener (I have slight dark circles as well). I like medium to full converge, but I don't want it to slide off my face.

The well rested eye brightened really isn't a concealer. It's more of a luminizer product. It definitely isn't something I would put over my whole face, just places that need lightening. It is a translucent/whitish color with some glisten to it. It will not provide much actual coverage. I actually put the well rested on over my foundation under my eyes. The correcting concealer is a fantastic concealer with great buildable coverage. My face gets super oily no matter what brands or products I use, but I think I get the best result with BE products. It doesn't feel oily and doesn't run down my face like other brands; I just see the shine in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend finishing with the mineral veil if you get oily, though.

I've used Benefit Erase Paste and Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer for the dark circles under my eyes, and they worked great, except for a slight drying and creasing under my eyes. Has anyone tried these and how does BareEscentuals correcting concealer compare?

I've not tried the 2 products you mentioned, but HAVE tried many other brands/products for concealer and the only thing I've found that works without spending a lot of time to apply is Bare Minerals Foundation in powder form. I don't care for the BE Correcting Concealer as even the lightest one isn't light enough, and ends up looking like brown spots on my skin. I use one shade of Original Bare Minerals for foundation, and a different shade to use as concealer. Using enough moisturizer under the eyes helps the foundation powder from looking too dry.

I use Ready foundation (love it!) in medium beige AND golden medium together. They work great together for me. I'm really wanting to try this concealer but can't decide which shade. I'm blonde with medium skin and with quite a bit of red from rosacea. I will use this mostly around my eyes. Have been using Well Rested for a long time but need a little more coverage. The light 1 seems a little too pinkish. Someone mentioned this concealer runs a little dark so I think medium might be too dark. I don't have a boutique in my area. Any advice is much appreciated!

I think the key to which one to try would be looking at the Find Your Perfect Shade link. You say you have Medium skin, so I would say either Medium 1 or 2, but it would depend on if you're a cool or warm or neutral tone. If you're using Medium Beige and Golden Medium together, you probably have a warm to neutral tone, and that would be the Medium 2 in the concealer. I've found that following the site's shade matching advice works well for me when I'm selecting a shade. I hope this helps. God luck!

I use fairly medium in matte. I'd advise go lighter. I use light 1 since I have pink under tones.. Based one yours I'd say go with light 2 since you have more yellow under tones. The key to getting dark circles to go away is use a shade lighter of concealer than the foundation you wear.

I think Light 2 would work well for you, since it sounds like you like the warm-based colors. (Light 2 and Medium 2 are warm-based, yellow colors). For concealers, I think going lighter is always better.

Hope this helps!

You're probably cool. What you could do is go to a regular drug store and try and color match. I would certainly advice you go with BM stuff, but that will tell you which shade you are. If you have a BM boutique near you that would be your best bet.

How I learned is, which looks better on you: silver, gold, or both? (Not to be mistaken with which one do you like -- which one LOOKS better on you)

Personally, I look better in silver, so I am a cool tone. Neutrals can wear either silver or gold, and warm tones look best in gold.

Hope that helps!

Personally, I use my Prime Time under and above my eyes before putting concealer on. So it makes sense, this is how I do it...

I put the Prime Time on by squirting one pump onto the back of my L hand, dabbing my R ring finger into it, then dabbing my forehead, hose, and chin with it. Then I take the remaining Prime Time, and divide it between my cheeks. I then make sure to rub it all in (gently) and you have a feeling of having "extra" on your fingers, just gently rub that under/above your eyes. I find that works better than the eye cream.

I generally use eye cream at night when it has more time to absorb on clean skin.

I would recommend using a cream, but let it dry around the eye area before applying the concealer (Stroke of light works best around the eyes). You may want to go to a nearby boutique to figure out which eye cream would work for you.

I think what will be closest is Tan 1 (for cool undertones) or Tan 2 (for neutral or warm undertones); these are the colors for tan skin (which Honey Bisque is for).

I have some dark spots that I cover. Bisque alone is great. This concealer (Light 2) is fabulous. And, for extra coverage, I sometimes dab on some Bisque over the correcting concealer. For me, they work together...and they stay on! No need to re-apply.

Personally, I don't think it would be too much. I'm a Bisque user (LOVE IT# and wear the Fairly Light Foundation Matte. I tried this concealer and didn't like it. But, I wanted to use it as concealer for blemishes #I'm pregnant as well and my face is breaking out horribly). I used it for under the eyes and it works great. I say, just don't pack on the bisque after putting on the correcting concealer. Just dust it over lightly. Good luck and hope it helps!
