What the heck..
I have absolutely no idea why this eyeliner is getting such negative reviews...
In spite of all of the bad reviews I wanted to try this liner out for myself and I have to say that it's amazing. Works like a charm. I've tried so many other brand of eyeliners over the past few years and they all run and smudge and give me raccoon eyes. This eyeliner hasn't done that whatsoever. Definitely worth the money!

Bring back Big & Bright
I was a HUGE fan of the big and bright eyeliner collection. It was creamy and I loved not having to sharpen it. The color payoff was superb. The colors seemed distinct.
THIS? Oh wow. I have never thrown away any beauty product, this one I did. It is dry, pulls hard on my eyelids, and ... the colors are all so similar. I've tried many, thinking perhaps I got an 'old' one.
Nope, all of them are like this. I hate them. I normally can find SOME use for something. These? In the trash. Not even worth sending back.
BE - bring back big and bright, I know so many are asking for it.
Ugh. One star was too much.

I will be switching lines of make-up
Its really a shame, I loved BE makeup and bought it even for my daughters because of the ease and simple applications. This eyeliner makes them look like racoons by the time they finish getting it on. It breaks and is very soft, does not apply evenly. I bought this make up to try and look our best not look like something out of a living dead movie. I tried to post this without even giving it a heart but it wouldnt let me, but a heart rating is way to high for this new eyeliner line

Where's my old eyeliner?
I do not like this pencil version. It is soft, breaks off when you "sharpen" and does not have a good point. It is messy, and difficult to use! I tried using it but found it very difficult and trashed it. I'll be looking for another product. :/

Love this eyeliner
I just used up the last pencil of this eyeliner. I like it a lot. If I'm not mistaken there is a little sharpener in the other end of the pencil that you pull off. I use this on my eyebrows to fill in a little bit where I need it and then I smudge it a little and I love the look. I'm glad it is still available.

Not a fan...
I loved the Big & Bright eyeliner line, so I was pretty disappointed with this new version when I replaced my eyeliner last week. I've never had these kinds of smudging or application issues before. It's unfortunate that someone felt the need to change a great product into something that just seems sub-par. I will spend my money on a different eyeliner from now on.

Bring back Big & Bright Eyeliner!!!
I have to agree that 1 heart is way to much to rate this. This eyeliner is to thick, it smears, and just isn't easy to apply. I really HATE it. I fell in love with Bare Minerals makeup for the ease of going on, this is a real pain in the eye.
I live in Okinawa Japan and it is hard enough to get Bare Minerals here as it is and now to have to go find another type of eyeliner is a real disappointment.
Please bring back Big & Bright Eyeliner!!!

Well, I like it!
I like this eyeliner, a lot. After ready the ladies' reviews below, I wonder what i was missing. I never tried the big and bright eyeliner, I always wore Urban Decay's 24/7 Eyeliner pencils. I got the midnight in the BM Wanderlust Desert kit and I actually really have loved it. I've been using it for almost a year now and am satisfied with it. I will agree that it occasionally goes on a bit thick, but I think the trick to doing it is to stretch the eyelid and get the pencil as sharp as possible. I kind of don't apply in all in one motion of a line. i go in little steps so that i don't smear it, which it does smear if you're not careful. And I also don't believe by any means that it is waterproof. But I wasn't looking for a waterproof eyeliner anyways, but I'm writing that because I know some of you are. Just know, I don't think it's very good for waterproof. But I love how dark and creamy it is, and I will continue to use it as my go to eyeliner. I hate liquid eyeliner, and I got over applying shadow liner, which I used to do with bare minerals Retro, a discontinued black shadow. Doesn't seem any different from the newer Onyx shade. I like this pencil more than the Urban Decay pencils because it goes on creamier and glides easily on your eyelid and does set. The UD one doesn't feel as creamy but lasts a long time.

worst product ever
I have been a BE customer for years. While there have been a very slight few products that have not “worked” for me, I have never hated a BE product before…until I met this eyeliner. Yes, it goes on smoothly, but so smoothly that you can’t seem to control the amount applied. It falls apart so easily, and globs onto anything it comes into contact with. I wouldn’t mind the sharpening aspect of it so much, except that the pencil requires sharpening again before you’ve even finished one eye. It gunked up my sharpener, and even broke off numerous times when I try to pull it out, which means starting all over again. I just don’t have enough time in the morning to clean up the mess that this eyeliner leaves behind. The pencil lasted one month, and I couldn’t have been happier to be rid of it. I think “1” heart is too high of a rating for this product. Please bring back the Big & Bright Eyeliner!!!

Older Women and Eyeliner
I have been using Bare Minerals for many year, but I must say this is the worst eyeliner ever. It is too soft, shows every wrinkle on you eyelid no matter how tight you stretch. Goes on too thick and smears all over. PLEASE bring back the big & bright eyeliner. Why do companies always have to supposedly "improve" something that doesn't need improving.
