    READY Eyeshadow 2.0 - null 4.4 5 39 39
Cool colors but not long wearing I bought this as my first ready eye shadow. The colors are very pretty but even with primer it streaks and goes on unevenly. It creases after one hour. The mineral loose powder shadows are Much better. Long wearing and strong hue 03/05/2015
the top shelf rocks super beautiful vanilla/ pink and nude pale bronze colors. I am a bartender and cocktail waitress by trade, so the names of the pallet and colors caught my eye. I was not disappointed. It's fancy enough to wear every day but not so dramatic and dark to be too much if you wanted to wear this to a business meeting or at the office. I am super pale complexion wise with English and Irish ancestry, so finding colors that compliment and not over power me are difficult. this is a great one for us pale ladies! 01/25/2015
Disappointed The color doesn't last all day, it fades and even with primer it ended up in the crease of my eyelid... Not impressed at all. I used it maybe three or four times and then I gave up on it. Not impressed and it definitely makes me leery of purchasing other pallets. Although the epiphany pallet is great! The color lasts all day with or without primer and it doesn't end up in the crease of my eyes so who knows... I guess not all eye shadow is created equal? 12/06/2014
Easy, Durable, and Colorful I have had this palette for nearly a year, and I'm still working on finishing it off. I absolutely love the Inspiration colors because they go great with green eyes add a unique flare of sparkle. Not only is this palette a great color combo, but the eye shadow itself lasts all day with the assistance of a primer. I have even gone swimming with the expectation of smears and shadows being the end result, but have happily discovered only a slight fading of the make up. I would recommend this set to anyone, even younger girls because it is convenient and reliable. 10/23/2014
Long wearing eyeshadow I received this product in an ipsy glam bag, unsure of the month, being someone with extremely sensitive skin I was rather hesitant to step outside my normal eye shadows. Boy was i wrong on that one, working 8 hour days in retail with dust, hot light and often a non working air-conditioner not only did this product stay on from 8 am in the morning till i got off work but continued on welll in the night and wee hours of the morning as i am typing this review now. It is most defiantly a product and a brand i would recommend to family friends and even complete strangers i have never met before or will never meet. overall great product. 09/30/2014
Some of my favorites I have bought several duos from BM and I'm very happy with them so far. Some look a little different once I received them but they are still nice colors. I plan to order more of the new colors ASAP! They last all day but I use a primer so I can't say how they do without it. They blend really well especially with the soft focus eye shadow brush. The pigment of the shadow is pretty good with most of the colors especially the dark ones. 07/15/2014
Easily Blendable for Everyday Fabulous I love the Ready 2.0 Eyeshadow in "The Escape" featuring Daydream + Wanderlust (nude crème/brown suede). The colors are true to description and perfectly blend and compliment each other. For work I use more of the crème color, and for the weekends I will blend up to my eye crease the brown suede color, for more dramatic effect. At first I was wondering how the colors would look, but both colors really enhanced the brown within my hazel eye color and really pair well with a variety of my outfits for work. Well done BE!!!!! 04/07/2014
Only eye shadow I'll use! I absolutely love this eye shadow! I have it in Top Shelf and The 15 Minute and love the colors. They are so pigmented and blend really well. I don't care for the applicator that comes with it, but I just keep my mini eye shadow brush in my bag for on the go applications. As long as i put some kind of base on first (well rested concealer, stroke of light) I find that it stays on all day and doesn't crease. I LOVE this product! 03/24/2014
Love the shades I have a mini of The Epiphany and love the colors! Just enough shimmer to give some sass but not enough to look like a bottle of glitter exploded all over my eyes. The palettes last a long time and very little is used to get strong color. I recommend it to everyone. 03/13/2014
Gorgeous Eyes I just recently bought this duo after having it put on me at the boutique. I love playing with colors with my eyes. I wasn't sure I could pull this off though, being it looked a little darker than I thought. It turned out really nice looking, and I just had to buy it. It blends very nicely and you can create quite a few different looks with the duo. I am curious to try more colors now! 02/19/2014

It would be nice to have a chart telling you what colors go best with each eye color. It's always hard to decide without professional help, particularly online.

I don't own as many of the 2.0s and 4.0s as I would like yet, but I have blue eyes and find that golds, bronzes, browns and taupes look great with blue eyes! Next on my list is The Top Shelf in 2.0, beautiful gold and brown!

I have blue eyes as well. I just got The True Romantic Ready eyeshadow and it really makes my eyes pop. Browns are good for blue eyes. Orange and blue are complimentary colors, so The Paradise Found 2.0 is nice too. Nirvana (part of The Paradise found) is an orange peach color that really brings out blue eyes.

I can't tell by looking, are their any matte eyeshadows in these duos that aren't matched with a shimmer or satin finish. When you reach a certain age as I have, shimmer shadows are not as appropriate.

That is so not true! Just because you have reached a certain age certainly does not mean you cannot pull of a nice shimmer shadow. The reason the pair them together is because they are better together and look way prettier! So don't be afraid to still wear shimmer shadows!

If you read any of Leslie's posts or interviews, she believes that a bit of shimmer is good on women of all ages. The luminosity helps diffuse any fine lines or wrinkles. My mother uses all these palettes & traditional slimmers, and she became a believer that shimmer was not dependent on being under a certain age.

Try "The Epiphany" it is very neutral, but can be layered for added depth in the evening. Nice shimmer/matte combination.

I know purple is THE BEST for complimenting hazel eyes. I have a light skintone AND brown/green hazel eyes. I have "The Dream Sequence" and "The After Party". They both are great. Each quad (4.0) comes with a small piece of paper that shows you how to get night and day looks. "The Dream Sequence" are in purple shades and "The After Party" is for a smokey eye look. I'm happy with both quads.

Visit your local Bare Escentuals Boutique or a place that sells Bare Minerals products and see if they're able to test out some colors on your eyes or on the top of your hand or against your forearm so that you can see how it looks on your skin. I would rather try it on the eyes though so you can really see what stands out. I went to a store locally and found out that I'm a Warm Deep in READY foundation and since August I thought Golden Dark was my shade, but it was coming up a little too light. I'm Golden Dark in the original and matte foundation. The woman was really helpful making sure I was matched well. Looking online you can't tell so having some help in person can make a difference.
