Prime Time Neutralizing Foundation Primer 4.1 5 61 61
No thanks This product made the powder foundation look THICK and I still had to touch up a couple times throughout my long days. 02/13/2015
Neutralizing Primer is best product I have used. This primer goes on smoothly and doesn't require too much to do the job. My skin looks its best when I user a bit of concealer to cover broken blood vessels and and red splotches before applying the primer. Can't live without the wonderful neutralizing primer. It gives my skin the uniform look of a blank canvas. I hope you get this product back in soon. 02/01/2015
Love this primer What a difference this primer makes! I have redness and uneven color on my face and some broken blood veins around my nose and chin. My skin is oily (yes, even in my late 50s!) This primer works great for me with concealer over the broken veins and matte foundation. Hate to find it out of stock because I NEVER wear makeup without it. 01/19/2015
BEST primer ever! covers my redness like no other! and keeps my makeup looking fresh all day! i will never buy any other primer ever again! keeps my uneven skin tones, looking even, and defiantly dulls my redness! will continue to buy, but a little bit goes a LONG WAY, so i probably wont have to buy some for awhile! 10/30/2014
Prime Time Foundation Primer I received this primer in a kit and thought it would be similar to the original Prime Time primer. I was very disappointed when I tried it. The original primer allows the brushes to glide over your skin when applying the foundation. This primer causes the brushes to drag making it difficult to apply the foundation in a smooth manner and has to be buffed for a much longer time. I will go back to the original as soon as possible. 08/29/2014
Awful When I bought this product in a smaller size along with something else to try, I was really excited. However, once I tried it, I was very disappointed. I live in a very humid area, so primers are a must if I want my makeup to stay on. It not only didn't hold my makeup on, but it made the makeup streaky and slide right off my face. 08/02/2014
Prime Time Neutralizing Foundation Primer Tried the foundation primer on a whim. I was totally delighted with the results. My skin tone was perfectly even. The perfect start for a flawless finish. 07/15/2014
LOVE! I have dry skin that tends to be red on the cheeks and I have tried so many products to cover this with either no result or something that simply didn't last all day. I just stumbled on this product thanks to a friend not really even aware of what it was. The first couple of times I used it with foundation over after it set, and I got compliments from friends and family on how great my skin looked! Now I can practically use it without even putting a foundation on top, it works that well at smoothing and taking away the redness. I will always use this product from now on! 05/27/2014
New go to I was afraid to try this product after reading some reviews, but I made the decision to form my own opinion. I am so glad I decided to do that. I love the way this balances out my skin tone before I apply my foundation. It doesn't give much coverage, but it does tone down the redness that I have in my cheeks. I love this primer. I only wish it had the same finish as the original primer or the bb cream primer. This one feels slightly more slick when applying and then throughout the day. 05/01/2014
Great But..... I love how it gives you a blank canvas to work with! I bought this one because it says it combats the dry/flaky patches as well and my forehead area and my nose stay dry and flaky but this primer doesn't keep to its word it doesn't help improve the dryness issue it makes it more noticeable. Other then this issue I love this primer! 04/30/2014

This product seems harder to apply evenly for me & seems the pigment settles to bottom. I can't tell if my shaking the bottle helps because you can't see. I thought maybe mixing with the clear might solve, but don't know if it would work. Too expensive to experiment without knowing. Or, maybe I have come up with a new idea that would work. Thank you for your assistance.

I have redness on my cheeks, so I also wanna try that high-rated Redness Remedy, some review imply that product could actually fade redness in the longtime, but I'm not sure if both these two products can be used at the same time, and the order.

I use moisturizer then this, but if you have oily skin this would probably be enough. It goes on feeling wet but dries within seconds and feels weightless.

After moisturizer, always. It helps to sort of "seal in" your moistuizer. But make sure you allow both the moisturize and primer to dry before appling your foundation.

Jill, Primers are not traditionally moisturizers. They are to even out the texture of your skin before applying your makeup (to give you the best application) as well as to help extend the wear. Order of application should be:

Cleanser
Skin Rever-Upper (if you use that)
Moisturizer
Primer
Foundation

Use this after moisturizer... Wash face, apply moisturizer.. Give it a few minutes to absorb.. Then apply the primer and give that a few minutes to absorb.. and then apply makeup.

I would say start with the original primer. It is the safest one. If not that then the new bb cream primer in medium.

I am also a medium beige and I use the neutralizing foundation primer it has a yellow tint and helps hide redness it blends well with medium beige foundation and it smooths out the texture of your skin so it looks like you have less bumps. I recommend this primer. It's also good for dry skin.

If you have dry skin, I would suggest the brightening primer. If you have an issue with oily skin, try the oil control. I have dry skin and I use the neutralizing primer because of my redness and I have no problems with it drying out my skin.

A:
It depends on your skin type. Are you oily, dry, or do you have excessive redness? The neutralizing primer is yellow and desgined to help color-correct redness in the skin. If you have very dry skin you might appreciate the brightening primer since dry skin can tend to look dull. If you have extreemely oily skin, or if you prefer a water based primer (as opposed to a scilicone one), try the oil-control version. But the original is your best bet if you are unsure, it works with every skin type witout question.

Primers are generally for all skin types unless specified (like the oil control). I have oily skin and use the Oil Control, Brightening, and Neutralizing. Its really about your preference. Oil Control i use most often, but brightening i use when my skin is a little dull. I just started using the neutralizing for my uneven tone and LOVE it! it will probably become my new go-to primer!

Buy the original. I didn't like this nearly as much, not silky the way the original is and it smells funny.
