Q & A

On the Spot Eye Makeup Remover 4.2 5 13 13
Love these! In the mornings, I'm usually rushed and often slip up with my mascara - resulting in some streak under my eye or along my nose. I take one of the swabs and erase my mistake without having to redo my eye make-up. They're the same size as a regular swab so you can target smaller areas. They're easy to travel with too because you don't need a separate bottle of make-up remover. 02/04/2012
This used to be my favorite product Very disappointing. This used to be one of my favorite products. I would buy for everyone I know. In the last 6 months to a year there appears to be less make up remover which renders the product ineffective. Will no longer buy. 10/01/2014
Convenient for travel I got these when going out of the country on vacation. They were great for simple touch ups. I did get it in my eye once and that definitely burned. It is definitely not effective for make up removal if its more than like a quick fix or perfecting, because it just doesn't have that much ability from a q-tip. It worked great for perfecting liner and was easy to use Would definitely recommend for travel, but not for every day use. 11/13/2013
On the Spot is Spot On! I've recommended this product to every woman I know since trying it! Planning for a recent vacation, I decided not to check any of my luggage. With the 3 oz. "in a plastic bag rule" for all liquids, this was absolutely the right purchase. After actually using them for the first time during this getaway, I was thrilled it did in fact remove my waterproof mascara too. (The ladies at the boutique weren't positive it would or not) At only $5.00 this package is worth every penny to free up valuable space in your suitcase, bag, purse, etc. I think I'll buy these every time I travel. Enjoy! 06/19/2013
On the Spot Eye Makeup Remover This is the most wonderful product to use when putting on your makeup and for touch ups. If you get mascara, eyeliner, etc. in the wrong place this takes care of it. I LOVE these. I always have these on hand so please never stop selling them. 05/22/2013
A must-have for every day use or travel I love this product when I make mistakes when applying liquid eyeliner. This product is great because the makeup remover is in the Q-tip and you just break the top and then use. It's non greasy and does not irritate my eyes while removing the unwanted makeup. It's great for travel because the makeup remover and q-tip is all in one! Great price as well! 04/28/2013
Maybe it was just a bad first try I got these a while ago, and only used one on one eye, with only one swipe. Maybe I accidently got some of the formula inside my eye? I don't even know. I went to wipe some excess eyeliner out from under my eye and I barely touched the product to my eye and I immediately started tearing up from the sting/burn. I don't have any sensitive skin or eyes, so I'm not sure why it stung. I'll try it again but it made that eye tear up for several minutes where I could barely open it so I'm not sure. I haven't tried it since. But after reading all these positive reviews maybe I just got the formula inside my eye, but I really dont think I got it that close to my actual eye. Will try it again after reading so many positives! 03/23/2013
Essential. I don't go anywhere without these. One of the best versions of this product out there. Wish they didn't have parabens in them, but they're still good. I always have a case in my purse. 09/05/2011
These are GREAT. Way easy to use, and they work like magic. 07/12/2011
just in case This is a great product! Sometimes, I get in a hurry and my eyeliner application goes astray. Now, I use these instead of starting over on the entire eye. Then there are times when I change my mind about the color I had used. I wish I had discovered these sooner. 05/21/2011

I also had this problem, but I would just break off the side with the blue line and let all the liquid go towards the other side and used that that, and the dry side that broke off for other touch up items.

Hope this helps.

It's okay to break the end with the line on it. Be sure to hold it so the opposite end is facing down when you do. The liquid is siphoned down to the dry end. Hold it this way until the dry end becomes moist. (You can visually watch this.) When it's done, you're ready to go!

Just gently break along the line at the end. Do not bend over hard. Do it very gently. Try not to bend it at all, just enough until the fluid starts to wet cotton.

I usually use Facial Cleanser, by BE or another brand of my choosing that works for me and a warm washcloth. To treat my face, since I have acne scarring, I use Benzoyl Peroxide if I have random raised breakouts, Transformation treatment which is a powder you buff onto your face and it's left on your face overnight and doesn't come off on your pillow, or the mother load...I use the Active renewal serum which I promise is like the fountain of youth put into a bottle. Also the Renew and Hydrate eye cream is wonderful, light and has a fluffy feel to the skin. search "samples" on the BE website and you will see what products have samples for $5 or less. It's great to spend a little bit of pocket change before going all in and getting the full size!

Hold the swab right underneath the end you are breaking off with the line on it, and then pinch the top of the end and bend it to the side.

I hold the swap vertically, making sure the end with the blue line is pointing towards the ceiling. Then, I use my pointer and my thumb to bend it towards me until I feel a small snap. If you still end up breaking of that end of the swab, it still works if you hold it the way I was talking about. All you have to do is kind of thumb the clear tube part and the solution will still go down to the other end, and you'll be able to use it. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Do you mean the little makeup remover-filled cotton swabs? Bend the cotton tip at the black line. It's okay if the whole tip breaks off. You're not doing anything wrong. Just let the liquid soak down into the other end of the swab & you're fine.
