I'm in heaven, just kidding thank you bareMinerals I finally got my bareMinerals Limited Edition giant size today, after going for about 5 years without any bareMinerals foundation. I tried a couple of others in the meantime, because of the expense, and they are just NOT the same, I had a feeling of dry cakiness with the others and none of them blended into my skin like bareMinerals which blends in beautifully as well as enhancing your natural skin. You literally feel like you have no foundation on at all. I'm the kind of person who practically wants to scratch off her make-up minutes after applying it, I just can't stand the way other make-up feels on my skin. bareMinerals uses a combination of the natural moisture in your skin along with any product you may have applied to create a natural looking foundation without adding additional moisturizers and etc. on top of the ones you are already using. I'm very picky about my moisturizer too, so having a foundation that works with your moisturizer instead of in addition to it is perfect for me. 02/01/2013

why does this make up make my face itch when it is humid outside?

Details:

I love the way it looks and feels, until I get in the humid weather and then I want to claw my face it itches so bad.

could depend on your skin type and the type of foundation. try using a gentle cleanser in the morning followed by a light moisturizer. then apply a primer and then foundation. at night when taking it all off use a different cleanser that helps remove all the makeup and moisturize! (no matter skin type!) if problem still persists then i suggest you compare the ingredients with other products with the similar ingredients that you use and try to nail down which one might be causing the itchiness. good luck!

I've ready and have been told it's because of the Bismuth in the original formula. I also had that problem with the original so I purchased the matte formula and problem solved. For some reason under my eyes it doesn't irritate so I use my original as under eye concealer since it has that sheen. I had asked a beauty rep what I could do about the itch and she had recommended doing a mineral veil sandwich (mineral veil, foundation, then mineral veil again). In order to use up my foundation and not waste $27, I mix my foundations and do mineral veil sandwich and the itch isn't bad. I hope this helps :)
